Mina POV

The lock of our eyes was broken when we hear Jeongyeon calling for us. I became panic as Chaeyoung seem didn't care about Jeongyeon calling for us. Chaeyoung didn't flinch, keeping his eyes and grip on me. I try to wiggle out, but Chaeyoung makes sure to hold me tightly.

"Chaeyoung." I said to him trying to wiggle out. He still didn't moved and his arms still around me.

"Chaeyoung? Mina?" Jeongyeon call us again.

"Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon is coming!" I warn him hushly.

"I don't care." He said.

"Chaengie. Please." I widen my eyes to look at him and plead.

Chaeyoung loosens his arm around me slowly as he seem shocked I'm calling him by nickname. Shoot! I'm also shocked by myself. Then, I slide out of them quickly as I hear Jeongyeon voice coming near.

"What are you guys doing? We have been looking for you." Jeongyeon complains.

"I tripped, so Chaeyoung was just checking if I'm twisted something." I said dust off my jeans and start walk down.

"I'm tired. So, I will wait for you guys." I said.

"The girls are taking pictures. So, I don't know when we are going down." Jeongyeon said a bit annoyed.

"Its fine. They will probably take a while though just so you know." I laugh.

"Damn it." Jeongyeon groans as he walk away and further down the trail.

Chaeyoung doesn't follow Jeongyeon instead he walks behind me. There's a thick air around us that makes me want to turn around to look at him. But the reminder of our kiss fluster me. So, I'm too embarrassed to talk to him. What does this mean? Are we still a friend? Wait! Were we ever be a friend? Argh, this is too frustrated. Can I change things back to the way we were before this trip? Do I want to? I sighs.

"Mina." Chaeyoung calls.

I don't stop and keep walking. I try to avoid whatever he might bring up with small talk. I don't thing I can process anymore.

"Argh, I'm so hungry. Do you think we would stopping to get a food?" I said whatever I want to say.

"Mina." He calls again.

"I was thinking we could get crepes. Yeah, I don't like pancakes but crepes are thinner. So, I'm okay with them." I'm still gibberish.

"Mina." Chaeyoung voice was closer now. I almost could feel his breath against my ear.

"I want it with cheese and ham though. Fruits with chocolate are too sweet." I said.

Then, Chaeyoung hugs me from behind not letting me deter whatever he was going to say anymore. I try to pry his arms open but being big, strong and healthy man, they are folded. My stomach not hurt though or maybe I didn't want to get away.

"Minari. I'm not going to stop now. Not after I asked you to stop me before. That was your only chance to tell me to. I'm not going to be subtle about my feeling towards you anymore." He said to me.

"Chaeyoung-." He cut me.

"I'm not going to treat you as a friend. Well, from the first you are not a friend. I don't see you as one." He continue.

"Haa, chicken and waffles sound interesting too. I never got to try it." Is all I utter in response.

I hear a soft chuckle from Chaeyoung and he lets me go. I didn't know if I should turn to face him or not. The hammers in my chest keep hammering me. So, I decide to started walk. I hear he chuckle again and catches up beside me. We just keep walking side by side without saying anything. We forget that Jeongyeon has the car keys, so Chaeyoung and I are locked out. Its not like we would go in and sit there anyways. It will be like a sauna inside. So, we find nearby bench and sit there waiting instead.

"About I said not needing you to tutor me, I was joking." Chaeyoung said.

"I already knew it. I looked in your-." I stop realise what I'm going to said, but its too late he already know I snooped.

"Well, I look in your backpack. Why you didn't tell me you were passing with A's in math? Plus, you already did all your homework." I said.

"Then, I wouldn't have an excuse to spend time with you otherwise." He response without hesitation.

"You have to keep tutoring me or my grades will drip." He said.

"I didn't tutoring you, you're still getting A's. I checked it like a month ago." I said .

"I don't care. You still have to tutoring me. You agreed." He said.

I roll my eyes but Chaeyoung keep smiling at me. The others start to come out of the trail and I quickly get up. I opened my mouth to greets them but I remember that they didn't talk to me. Even, Jihyo who rarely get upset. I stop myself and sink back to the bench. I sigh, and Chaeyoung looks at me worried. There's two seats left in the back, and I get the one next to the window. I fall asleep immediately leaning on the side of the car.

Arrived at my home, sun already set. I woke up with Chaeyoung head on my shoulder. I get paranoid if Tzuyu saw him leaning to me but Jeongyeon the only one who's awake. I slowly position Chaeyoung head on the seat and get out waves to Jeongyeon. I walk in while Sunmi unnie and dad are having dinner. I just drop my backpack onto the couch and walk to the kitchen and join them. I haven't had anything all day. I'm starving.

"Hey Mina." Dad get up to get me a plate of the stir-fry they are having. In the meantime, I eat some off his unguarded plate.

"How's the mountains?" Unnie asked.

"People up there are nice." I said with my full mouthed.

"Did you go with that boy who came to our house?" I choke and dad stops preparing my dinner to join the conversation.

"What?! A boy came over?" Dad look from unnie to me.

"Yeah, some handsome and tall boy. Like two months ago?" Sunmi unnie said titled her head.

"And you bringing this up now?" Dad asked shocked.

"Yeah, unnie. Why are you bringing this up now?" I asked with a threatening tone.

"Mina." Dad demands for an answer.

"He's my teacher som. I'm tutor him so she's will write me a letter of recommendation. We hang out sometimes." I explain and get my own plate since dad stopped doing so.

"Does he like you?" Dad asked.

"No. Dad. No! Its not like that." I said.

"Why? What's wrong with my daughter?" Dad complains.

This is why unnie and I are doomed to be single. Dad gets mad if find someone interest in us, but also upset if anyone denies they like us. So, I don't know what he's thinking.

"I want to eat in peace." I shovel food in my mouth to show my dad I had no intentions of continuing the conversation. So, he leaves to watch tv.

"Mina, did something happen?" Sunmi unnie leans over table to whisper to me.

"What makes you think something happen?" I said eating.

"You were really defensive when he asked." Unnie eyes light up in amusement while she tease me.

"Can I asked you a question?" I asked.

"What?" She replied.

"One of my friends in conflicted. She likes this boy." I started.

"So, what wrong with that?" She said.

"Well, my other friends likes the same boy. But the boy likes my first friend." I explain.

"You're not making any sense, Mina." She said.

"Should my first friend back off?" I asked.

"Why are you so worried about that? Just let them deal with it." She said uninterested.

"Just answer me!" I insist.

"Well, if your second friend didn't have any prior relationship with the boy, then your first friend shouldn't back off. Her feelings for him is mutual anyway." Unnie answer.

"What if my other friend hates her?" I asked.

"Its not like she stole her man. It was only a crush. If she's a friend, she will get over it." She replied while drinking her drink.

I sink back into my chair in deep thought.

"So, which one is you? First or second?" Sunmi unnie asked.

"No, this isn't about me." I said.

"Well, it definitely has to do with Tzuyu then." She said nodded.

"No, its my other friend." I lied.

"That's impossible. You don't have any other friend beside Jihyo, Sana and Tzuyu." She said look at me.

"How you know its Tzuyu anyways? Jihyo and Sana are my friend too." I asked curious.

"Well, Jihyo and Sana are obviously into each other. That's leave only Tzuyu. So, the other friend in your story has to be you." She explain.

"What do you mean they're into each other?" I asked shocked and curious.

"Are you kidding me Mina? You're their friend and you didn't even notice? Even, Sana is flirting but she's too whipped for Jihyo. Same with Jihyo. They are too overhead to each other." She said chuckles.

Chaeyoung is right. I'm dense. Jihyo never had interests in any guys, and Sana even she's flirting she always driving boys away from Jihyo. They're always together and they're the closest to each other in our group of friends. They always showed each other affection. Now, I think about it they were much more intimate with each other than they were with Tzuyu and me.

"Earth to Mina! Now explain what's going on with you and Tzuyu." She asked sternly.

I slam my head against the table and start to whine in frustrated. My head is a mess. I sigh before look at Sunmi unnie.

"I.. I.. I..... kissed the guy Tzuyu like. Not like I kiss him, he's the one who kiss me." I said to her.

"Wait! What?" Unnie exclaims loudly.

I quickly hush her, not like my dad would hear anyway. He already fall asleep and like I said my family is a deep sleepers.

"You finally kissed someone? Yes! I won! I bet Dad $100 you would before high school ended." She said excited.

"Wait! What? You guys bet on my first kiss? And you can't tell dad!" I said with threat tone.

"But my 100 bucks...." She pouting.

"I should never told you." I groan walking away. Sunmi unnie grabs my arm and holds me back.

"Okay, I'm sorry. Just explain to me what happened." Unnie urges me.

Her teasing voice was no longer existent and replace by concern expression. Today is the day I asked my sister to help me with romance and friendship. If my social skills and awareness were going to plummet like this, I would have asked her long ago.
