IZZY AND OTHERS SIT OUT ON A HILSIDE AND WATCH AS A METORSHOWER HAPPENS. PEACE GETS UP AND THEN STARTS OFF AND IZZY GETS UP WITH HER.

PEACE LEAVES. IZZY THEN GOES BACK TO THE HILLSIDE AND CONTINUES TO WATCH THE METEORSHOWER WITH THE OTHERS.

CUT TO: SKY

EXT. SKY - NIGHT

AS ONE OF THE METERORS FALLS DOWN OUT OF THE SKY IT LANDS IN A FOREST AND THEN ROLLS INTO A POND. THE ROCK CRACKS AND THEN A PLANT TYPE CREATURE CRAWLS OUT AND SWIMS TO SHORE. THE PLANT CREATURE THEN CONNECTS ITSELF WITH TREES AND OTHER PLANT LIFE AND BEGINS TO MERGE WITH THE FOREST.  

CUT TO: IZZY'S ROOM

EXT. IZZY'S ROOM- MORNING 

IZZY WAKES UP, GOES INTO HIS CLOSET,  AND THEN TAKES OUT A JUMPSUIT. HE THEN STARTS TO LEAVE THE HOUSE WHEN KEN STOPS HIM.

[Ken] 
What's up sport?

[Izzy]
Nothing really. Just gonna go for a jog.

[Ken]
Oh okay. You mind having breakfast first?

[Izzy]

IZZY WALKS INTO THE KITCHEN AND THERE A FULL SPREAD ON THE TABLE. THEY SIT DOWN, PRAY, AND THEN BEGIN TO EAT THE FOOD.

Yeah, I don't like to  brag but I know my way around a kitchen.

IZZY BEING SURPRISED BY THE SUBJECT HAS TO PUT DOWN HIS DRINK AND COUGH.

IZZY SCARFS DOWN THE FOOD AND THEN STARTS OUT.

IZZY RUSHES OUT OF THE HOUSE AND THEN RIDES OUT ON HIS BIKE. WHILE RIDING ALONG, HIS BURNER PHONE BEGINS TO RING AND HE ANSWERS IT.

You mind coming out to the place where we met? I want to have a little chat with you.

[Izzy]
Okay, I'm on my way.

IZZY HEADS TO THE PLACE WHERE AGENT MILES AND HE MET AND THEN PARKS HIS BIKE. AGENT MILES PULLS OUT A CIGARETTE, LIGHTS IT, THEN BEGINS TO SMOKE IT.  IZZY THEN WALKS OVER TO WHERE HE IS.

[Izzy]
You know those are bad for you right?

[Agent Miles ]
Enough of that, you know why I called you here right?

[Izzy]
You're mad that I didn't call about the cat girl. That's it right?

[Agent Miles]
Damn straight. Let's get something straight, you're not a superhero and you're not a vigilante. The only reason you're not behind bars is because based on you're story we might need you. Based on all of the stuff that I've seen in the past few weeks, honestly I believe you. But that does not give you the right to be a loose cannon.

Well what the hell did you want me to do? Look she didn't understand anything I was saying, Peace was the only one that could talk to her.

Apparently she wanted Peace to come back with her because her race, which Peace watched over were being tortured  and exterminated.

EXT. PALACE- MORNING

MERCINARIES STAND AROUND IN A COURT YARD AND AWAIT FOR APOCALYPSE TO COME AND ADDRESS THEM.

So does anyone know when this guy is going to show himself? I have about 50 other jobs I could be doing right now.

Because this is a job from the big dogs. They pay well, however I could be adding up amounts if I wasn't playing waiting rooms.

APOCALYPSE COMES TO THE BALCONY AND THEN THE MERCINARIES FACE HIM.

As you all might know, we have recently had one of our own resign without our permission. Peace has been charged with treason on the highest level and so we are issuing a bounty of the highest amount.

How are we supposed to catch someone like her? She's in the same class as you guys right?

[Apocalypse]
That is true, however she has lost some devotion which may contribute to her being significantly weaker than she once was. Also something to note is that she may have picked up a companion while being away. I would like for that individual to be caught and brought back here as well.

This ought to be exciting.

Do you know where they are at the moment?

[Apocalypse]
Our resources have shown that she resides on Earth.

[Comet Smasher]
Earth, heard it's nice this time of year.

[Apocalypse]
Bring them back here dead or alive. Preferably alive so that I may kill them myself.

If you're all on the same class then why haven't you gone after her personally? Seems like the logical thing to do.

[Apocalypse]
Perhaps, I just don't see the point right now. You all are some of the best bounty hunters money can buy. If you can't get the job done then maybe I'll consider doing things myself.

Yes. There is also one more factor that I would like to mention before I send you on your way. You all may work separately but I want this job done as soon as possible. If you work together and get her back here quickly there is a joint reward but a reward non the less. Just something for you guys to think about.

APOCALYPSE FLIES DOWN TO WHERE THEY ARE.

If you are captured or beaten, don't bother coming back and if you do, don't ever let me see you. I've had to deal with enough disappointment already.

APOCALYPSE WALKS THEM TO THE SHIP THAT THEY WILL BE USING AND THEN SENDS THEM OFF ON THEIR WAY. WHILE IN THE SHIP TURBINE LOOKS AT DEMONIAC AND MAKES A SMOOCH FACE. DEMONIAC GIVES HIM THE MIDDLE FINGER AND LOOKS OUT THE WINDOW INTO OUTER SPACE. TURBINE THEN TAPS COMET SMASHER ON THE SHOULDER.

Look if we come together we can get the drop on these fools, get Peace and the other guy and then be back in time for dinner.

EXT. ROADWAY- AFTERNOON

AS IZZY IS DRIVING ALONG THE ROAD HE SEES A MAN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH HIS CAR BROKEN DOWN AND THEN STOPS FOR HIM.

[Izzy]
Hey, car troubles?

[Man]
Yeah.

[Izzy]
You mind me helping you?

[Man]
Oh not at all?

[Izzy]
What do you need?

[Man]
Some gas and a tire change. I was actually waiting on someone because my kid is in the back. I couldn't leave him here.

[Izzy]

IZZY GRABS THE GAS CAN AND THEN DRIVES OFF ON HIS BIKE TOWARDS THE NEAREST GAS STATION. SOME SMALL VINES COME OUT OF THE FOREST AND WRAP AROUND THE TIRES OF THE CAR FACING THE FOREST AND THEN START TO PULL THE CAR.  THE MAN NOTICES THIS AND THEN TURNS AROUND.

[Man]
What the hell?!

THE MAN GETS INTO THE CAR AND THEN GETS HIS SON OUT AND THEN THE VINES CONTINUE TO DRAG THE CAR INTO THE FOREST. SOMEMORE VINES THEN COME OUT AND GRAB THE MAN AND HIS SON AND START TO DRAG THEM IN AS WELL.

CUT TO: GAS STATION

EXT. GAS STATION- AFTERNOON

IZZY COMES OUT OF THE GAS STATION AND SEES SOME POLICE CARS RACING DOWN THE STREET.

[Izzy]
Wonder where their off too.

IZZY SECURES THE GAS CAN AND HEADS OFF TO WHERE THE MAN IS. ARRIVING THERE HE FINDS THAT THE POLICE ARE THERE TALKING TO A WOMAN. HE THEN STOPS AND ONE OF THE POLICEMEN COMES OVER TO WHERE HE IS.

[Policeman#1]
Sorry kid but we're gonna need you to vacate the area.

[Izzy]
Wait what happened to the man that was here, he asked me to get to gas for him.

[Policeman#1]
That woman over there called us and she's giving her side of the story.

[Izzy]
Okay.

IZZY HANDS THE POLICEMAN THE GAS CAN.

[Policeman#1]
What do you want me to do with this?

[Izzy]
If you find him, give that to him.

IZZY RIDES OFF. HE FINDS AN AREA TO STOP AND THEN PARKS HIS BIKE THERE. HE THEN POWERS UP AND FLIES BACK TO WHERE THE POLICEMEN AND THE WOMAN ARE.

[Policeman#2]
Hey I'm sorry but you can't be here right now.

[Cosmic]
Sorry but I need to talk to her. This is very important.

[Woman]
Well I caught the last of the situation. It looked like he was being dragged into the woods by something.

[Cosmic]
Could you tell what it was?

[Woman]
I- I'm not sure. It could've been a bear. Maybe something larger.

[Cosmic]
Not much is larger than a bear.

SUDDENLY ONE COP LOOKS UP AND SEES A CAR COMING DOWN OUT OF THE AIR.

[Policeman#1]
Look out.

COSMIC TURNS AND SEES THE CAR THEN GRABS THE POLICEMAN AND WOMAN, THROWS THEM OUT OF THE WAY AND THEN CATCHES THE CAR. COSMIC THEN SITS THE CAR DOWN.

I don't know a bear that could do that.

COSMIC FLIES INTO THE FOREST AND LOOKS AROUND. FLYING AROUND FOR A WHILE HE STOPS AND THEN LOOKS AROUND. HE THEN PULLS OUT HIS BURNER PHONE AND CALLS AGENT MILES.

(Over the phone)

[Cosmic]
Just reporting in. Look I don't know what I'm after but it must be something big. It threw a car at me.

[Agent Miles]
(Over the phone)

COSMIC IS GRABED BY MULTIPLE VINES AND THEN PULLED OFF.

COSMIC HANGS UP THE PHONE AND STARTS TRYING TO FLY OUT OF THE GRASP OF THE VINES BUT WHEN HE CAN'T HE BLAST THEM WITH A BEAM AND THEY START TO RETRACT BACK. COSMIC THEN FOLLOWS THEM TO A CETRAL LOCATION WHERE EXCOTIC ALIEN LIKE PLANTS HAVE GROWN UP.

[Cosmic]

Someone help us!

 COSMIC START TO FLY DOWN TO WHERE THE MAN IS AND A VINE HITS HIM OUT OF THE AIR AND INTO A TREE. COSMIC THEN SHOOTS THE VINES WITH BEAMS THAT COME AT HIM THEN FLIES UP. HE LOOKS AROUND AND THEN FINDS THE MAN AND HIS KID IN SOME KIND OF A LIQUID SUBTANCE.

[Cosmic]
There they are.

COSMIC STARTS OVER TO WHERE THEY ARE AND DODGES THE VINES ATTACKS. HE GRABS THE MAN AND HIS SON AND THEN FLY OFF BACK TO WHERE THE POLICEMEN ARE. HE HANDS THE MAN AND HIS SON OVER TO A POLICEMAN AND THE OTHER ONE COMES OVER TO WHERE HE IS.

[Policeman#1]
What the heck is going on?

[Cosmic]
Some type of plant creature.

[Policeman#1]
Are you serious?

[Cosmic]
Yeah, I'm heading back in to take care of it.

COSMIC FLIES BACK TO WHERE THE PLANT CLUSTER IS AND THEN IT TRIES TO GRAB HIM WITH VINES AND HE SHOOTS THEM AND THEN HEADS INTO THE CLUSTER WHERE HE FINDS A BUNCH OF PALNT CRETURES. THEY ROAR AND HISS AT COSMIC THEN CHARGE AT HIM. COSMIC SHOOTS MOST OF THEM AND THEN FIGHTS OFF THE REST OF THEM. ONE VENIS FLY TRAP OPENS UP AND THEN GRABS HIM FROM BELOW. IT CLOSES UP AND THEN COSMIC OPENS IT UP.

COSMIC THROWS AN ENERGGY WAVE THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF IT AND SLASHES IT IN HALF AND THEN ONE OF THE PLANT CREATURES SCRATCHES HIM ON THE CHEST WHICH ALSO BURNS HIM. COSMIC THEN SHOOTS IT BACK THROUGH THE AIR AND TAKES A SECOND TO HEAL. SUDDENLY LOTS OF SPORE TYPE PLANTS START TO SPROUT UP AND COMIC SHOOTS THEM DOWN. HUGES VINES THEN GRAB HIM AND BRING HIM FUTHER UNDER GROUND. COSMIC SHOOTS HIS WAY OUT BUT AS HE TRIES TO FLY AWAY A HUGE VINE HITS HIM TO THE GROUND. IT THEN PICKS HIM UP AND THROWS HIM AT A WALL PINNING HIM THERE UNTIL OTHER VINE STAB HIM IN VARIOUS PARTS OF HIS BODY PINNING HIM TO THE WALL. COSMIC SPITS UP SOME BLODD AND THEN A CREATURE STAGGERS OVER TO WHERE HE IS AND GRABS HIM BY THE HAIR. IT THEN LOOKS COSMIC IN THE FACE.

I am a plant creature that rooted here yesterday. I must now move out and consume other organisms to survive.

THE PLANT CREATURE STARTS TO STAB COSMIC BUT COSMIC SHOOTS IT BACK WITH A ENERGY BEAM. COSMIC THEN GENERATES AN ENERGY FIELD AND CUTS OFF THE VINES THAT HOLD HIM. HE THEN KEEPS THE FILED UP SO THAT HE CAN HEAL AND THE PLANT CREATURE TRIES BREAKING IT DOWN. WHEN COSMIC FULLY HEALS HE LETS DOWN THE FIELD AND THEN FLIES AT THE PLANT CREATURE WHO USES A VINE AS A SHILED. COSMIC THEN GRABS THE VINE AND RIPS IT IN HALF. THE PLANT CREATYRE THEN LUNGES FORWARD AND CUTS COSMIC ACROSS THE FACE AS HE DODGES. HE THEN PUNCHES IT AND IT FLIES BACK ACROSS THE GROUND. COSMIC FLIES OVER TO WHERE IT IS AND PUNCHES IT MULTIPLE TIMES. THE PLANT CREATURE THEN USES SOME VINES TO HIT COSMIC UP TO THE TOP OF THE GROUND AND THEN HE FALLS TO THE GROUND. THE PLANT CREATURE THEN CALLS FORTH A HUGE MUSHROOM TYPE PLANT AND CONNECTS ITSELF TO IT. AS COSMIC GETS TO HIS FEET IT RAMS HIM AND THEN TAKES HIM BACK TO THE SURFACE. KNOCKING COSMIC HIGH INTO THE AIR AND THEN LETTING HIM FALL TO THE GROUND COSMIC IS THEN ATTACKED BY LOTS OF SMALLER PLANT CREATURES. HE FIGHTS THEM OFF AND THEN FLIES BACK TO THE MAIN PLANT CREATURE AND PUNCHES IT MULTPLE TIMES.

[Plant Creature]

Enough!

THE PLANT CREATURE HITS COSMIC BACK THROUGH THE AIR AND PICKS UP A HUGES TREE. IT THEN HITS COSMIC MULTIPLE TIMES WITH IT AND PICKS HIM UP. IT THEN EATS COSMIC AND THEN STARTS OVER TO WHERE THE ROADS ARE. WHEN THE POLICE SEE IT, THEY SHOOT AT IT WITH THEIR PITSOLS AND BEING A WAYS OFF THE PLANT CREATURE THROWS TREES AT THEM. ONE OF THE POLICE OFFICERS THEN GETS ON HIS RADIO.

[Policeman#1]

We need back up, send officers to our location!

CUT TO: INSIDE OF PLANT CREATURE

EXT. INSIDE OF PLANT CREATURE- AFTERNOON

COSMIC WAKES UP AFTER BEING BURNED BY SOME ACIDS AND THEN FLIES OUT OF IT. HIS BURNER PHONE THEN BEGINS TO RING AND HE ANSWERS.

[Cosmic]

[Agent Miles]

(Over the phone)

I'm getting reports about a huge plant creature.

[Cosmic]

Yeah I'm handling the situation now.

[Agent Miles]

What kind of plant is it?

Have most of them looked like fungi?

COSMIC HANGS UP THE PHONE AND THEN FLIES OUT OF THE PLANT CREATURE. HE THEN GETS IN FRONT OF IT AND CHARGES UP A BEAM THEN FIRES IT TAKING OUT THE PLANT CREATURE AND THEN MAKING IT COLLAPSE TO THE GROUND. COSMIC THEN BACK UNDERGROUND AND LOOKING AROUND FINDS IT.

[Cosmic]

Ew. That's what you look like. No wonder no one likes mushrooms.

[Plant Brain]

Stay away from me! I hunger and I will consume everything until fungi is supreme!

[Cosmic]

THE PLANT BRAIN BEGINS TRYING TO HIT COSMIC WITH VINES AND HE MAKES AN ENERGY FIELD BUT IS PUSHED BACK A DISTANCE. HE THEN CHARGES UP A BEAM AND FIRES IT INSERTING THE PLANT BRAIN AND THEN LEAVES FROM UNDERGROUND TO SEE THAT THE OTHER PLANTS RELATED TO IT HAVE STARTED TO WHITHER. HE THEN FLIES BACK TO THE ROAD AND LANDS NEAR WHERE THE COPS ARE.

COSMIC FLIES INTO HIS ROOM AND POWERS DOWN, TAKES A SHOWER, AND CHANGES HIS CLOTHES. HE THEN IS MET BY PEACE WHO FLIES IN.
