*Warning*:  mild Horsey talk

oxer:a few poles as a set of two poles horizantily next to each other a few lenghts apart....

brush: a solid base then a bushy thingy......like a bush 0.0 that the horse kinda jumps through rather than over

coffin: rail jump, down hill, ditch filled with water, up hill then another rail jump

this time can i ask you guys who you ship with Riley most? :D

I sat on the tall horse quietly as i watched Caleb mount his. This horse was definitely hyperactive, but nothing I haven't dealt with before. But when I did deal with those types of horses I normally had already accepted I was going to fall off. That might turn out fatal if I fall of today though..

Pushing that thought aside I followed Caleb down the gravel path and into the trees. He went a little way before stopping next to the treeline by a huge field. On the field were a few jumps leading into trees on the other end. "Woah......" I commented and he smirked. "I'll jump the red jumps, you jump the blue, got it?" he explained and I looked into the field. Some of the jumps had blue flags and some of them had red.

I narrowed my eyes at the first blue jump, it was a giant oxer, and the first red was just a simple brush jump. "They are the same difficulty courses right?" I asked and he rolled his eyes. "Duh, not chickening out are you?" he smirked at me and I glared at him. "No way" I replied and looked at the course, the next jumps should be easy enough to find, but I don't know what they are so I am at a disadvantage.

"Three, two , one-go!" he shouted and set off, I rolled my eyes before kicking my horse on. It sprang forward, taking me by surprise, but I managed to get control before I reached the jump.

It glided over the jump and immediately turned, without my permission may I add, to the next jump, which was a coffin set out on a actually rather large hill. This horse knows the course, and I don't. This might not turn out well.

I steadied the horse into a canter and it jumped calmly over the first rail, then literally sprinted for the ditch.

"Woah" I said, trying to calm it down. The horse jumped the ditch and had to slow down going up the hill and over the other rail.

I looked over to Caleb to see him just infront of me, disappearing into the trees. I then looked back to the red jumps and narrowed my eyes suspiciously, they don't look as hard.

----- prevention of you falling asleep---

"They weren't as high as the blue jumps" I said as I crossed my arms, I had just ridden up to Caleb after going over the last jump, and he looked pretty pleased with himself.

"Uh Huh, you think that" he smirked at me and I rolled my eyes.  The horse I  was riding had now decided to start flinging it head in the air and my hands were rubbed raw from the reins constantly being pulled.

"This horse doesn't like me" I commented as it starting prancing and messing around. I looked over to Caleb who's horse was standing perfectly still.

.................Bastard.......

"I think we might of been gone to long" Caleb commented as he looked at the sky. I got my phone out of my jacket pocket and looked at the time. Huh, I  think my phone has cracked more, I thought as I read 1:00. Maybe we have..

"You take your phone with you?" Caleb asked me with a raised brow. "Yeah, it's destroyed enough already and it has never made a sound anyway, so there is no loud ring-tone to worry about" I explained, then looked down to the screen again. I frowned when I remembered the text from yesterday and opened it.

Erin: U doin ok?

I rolled my eyes at it and texted back.

Fine, what about you?

It took a long time on my cracked screen and both my horse and Caleb started to get inpatient. "What are you doing?" he asked as I put my phone away. "Nothing, at the moment" I smirked and he shot me daggers.

"We better go" he said and I nodded in agreement. He kicked his horse on and I kicked mine. The horse gave a loud whinny before setting off at a fast canter. Uh oh..

I managed to slow it down but Caleb zooming past me made it have a sudden burst of speed after him. "If i die i'm gunna haunt you!" I shouted to him and he stuck his middle finger up at me. Oh, you've asked for it.

"Fine then" I said then kicked the horse on, it was already running full speed so it didn't do much, but when I loosened the reins the horse stretched its neck and started catching up to Caleb.

The path we were taking must of been a shortcut, because the next second we had arrived on the gravel path. Both me and the horse were surprised, and skidded to a stop while sending the little rocks off in every direction.

When it fell still again I heard someone laughing. Caleb had stopped at the edge of the path, not even touching the gravel. I stuck my tongue out at him and checked the horse, it seemed to be uninjured.

I looked down the gravel path to the house and noticed other cars were there  now. Uh oh.

I'm going to be in trouble of being gone for so long, they didn't even  know Caleb was here so they must of thought I went off on my own.

I sighed and kicked the horse on, hoping not to be seen. "I think we may be in trouble" Caleb from next to me as he looked at the busy looking house.

"Yeah.." I agreed and turned the horse into the stable yard, hoping to avoid everyone.

"Riley!" a voice called and I cursed. Aaron and Hunter were standing at the entrance to the yard, looking very stressed out.

"Caleb, what are you doing here?" Hunter glared at him while Aaron walked up to me. "Riley you can't ride in your state, it could end up fatal,  are you hurt? Please get down from there" he said in one breath and I rolled my eyes as I dismounted.

"I was off today, you guys obviously didn't care to remember, it's not my fault" Caleb answered as he too dismounted. "We'd thought you'd ran off Riley, or worse, you could of died or...something!" Aaron hyperventilated and I blinked at him. "Calm down Aaron, Riley, what were you doing?" Hunter asked me, crossing his arms.

"Ummmm...riding?" I answered and smiled sheepishly. "That's really dangerous anyway, let alone when you are in your current state, please don't do that again, you scared everyone, I think you might want to go inside now, and prove to everyone you don't hate them and have not run away" Hunter sighed and Caleb snorted in amusement.

"They didn't seriously think that did they?" I asked Aaron as he grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the house after I had taken my riding helmet off. "Meh, it could of been a thought that flashed in their minds, I know you love us too much though" he winked at me and I rolled my eyes.

"You don't have to hold my arm, I won't go anywhere" I huffed as we reached one of the back doors. "You sure" he gave me a suspicious look before dragging me through the door. OK, I am not sure about this now, I thought as I wondered how everyone was reacting. I pulled on Aaron's arm as he attempted to drag me to the front room.

"Um, can I not maybe?" I said and he started dragging me with both hands as I tried to pull the other way. "Come on Riley" he said in a strained voice as I dug my heels into the ground.

"Riley?!" a voice snapped and Aaron let go, sending me flying onto the cold floor. "Ow" I said and then looked up to see Chance and Aaron holding his hand over his mouth. "I am so sorry Riley, did I hurt you?" he said as he walked up and knelt beside me. I shook my head and chuckled a him. "You guys worry to much, it weird" I said truthfully and he raised a brow at me.

"Where were you Riley?" Chance asked me sternly and Luca came running in. "Um..............Outside , with Caleb" I answered and hoped he wouldn't ask questions.

"Riley" Aaron gave me an unimpressed look and I cursed in my head. "He was riding, and it didn't look like it had been a little hack either, the horses were breathing heavily" he told them and I sighed. "Why is he on the floor?" Luca asked, concerned. "No reason, I'm fine, sorry for worrying you, I didn't think you would" I said as I started to get up and Aaron helped me.

"Why wouldn't we?" Chance sighed dramatically and I blinked blankly at them. "Only child's, i'll never get them" Aaron tutted and I became even more confused. "Are you sure you are not hurt Riley?" Luca asked me and I smiled and nodded.

Caleb and Hunter then walked through the door behind me and Caleb smiled sheepishly at them while they gave him unimpressed looks. "What? He didn't die" he said and they sighed. "Riley please don't go off like that, anything could of happened. And Caleb, we need to talk" Chance said to me then to Caleb sternly.

Caleb sighed then followed him into the other room. I was left in a silent hallway with Aaron, Luca and Hunter  and smiled awkwardly. "Sorry" I said again, making a guilty face and they rolled their eyes. "You're not to go out of my sight Riley, understand?" Luca asked me sternly and I nodded. "Really sorry" I repeated and Aaron groaned in exasperation before walking off.

"Sounds like you've got such a fun day ahead of you Riley, well ,  I've got things to do bye" Hunter patted my shoulder sympathetically before heading up the stairs and Luca glared at him.

"You look really stressed, you should go take a bubble bath or something" I said, smiling innocently,  when Luca rubbed his brow while sighing. He gave me a look then walked up to me. I was about to ask him what was wrong when he pulled me into a tight hug. Okay then..

"Don't make me worry so much Riley, you'll give me a heart attack" he mumbled into my neck and I rolled my eyes. "You're only twenty five, Luca, you won't have a heart attack" I bluntly reassured him and he hugged me tighter. "Can't breathe" I said breathlessly after a while and he let go, staring at me for a second before moving away.

Okay........................What... Was that?
