I have a feeling this story might meet the 100's lol

-

"Dude can you tell your cow to stop harassing us." Alex pleaded as Patty sniffled and pushed at his hair as we sat on the grass in her field.

"Not my cow." I chuckled and Caleb just smiled at her and patted her neck.

He then stopped and frowned. "Wait...why do you have a cow?" He asked making me smirk in amusement.

"My father rescued her from a dairy farm, I don't really know why, he tends to prefer animals over humans. We rescued a bunch of rabbits from a testing facility when I was younger as well, I don't know if they are still here though, they would be round the back. " I explained and Alex's eyes widened.

"BUNNIES??!" He exclaimed making Patty jump.

"Yep, bunnies."

"We have to go see them!" He said and I sighed.

"Later."

"PLLLLLEEASSE!!" Alex whined and Caleb gave him a look.

"Have you ever managed to be in a relationship, Alex?" He suddenly asked and Alex blinked at him.

"No..."

"Not surprised." He said and Alex pouted.

"Why??"

"'Cause you're super loud and demanding, it wouldn't be a relationship it would be someone babysitting a child." He said and I snorted before chuckling.

Alex crossed his arms and glared at him.

"Well, what about you?" He asked back and Caleb's small smile vanished.

"..."

"EXACTLY."

"Give it a rest you two." I rolled my eyes and they both turned to look at me.

"You've been in a relationship before haven't you?" Caleb said and I frowned.

"What makes you say that?" I asked and they both snickered.

"Ohh idk, couldn't possibly be your attractive body and personality." Alex muttered and I blushed.

"That doesn't automatically mean someone would've been in a relationship, even if that was the case." I said and Caleb raised a brow at me.

"So, you haven't been in a relationship?"

"I have...but..."

"But what? What happened?" He questions and I sighed.

"Things.."

"Le gasp, did one of you cheat on the other??!" Alex put his hands to his face dramatically and I smirked.

"...Yeah..."

"OH damn, who??"

I bit my lip and just started picking the grass blades I was sitting near in silence.

"Ohhh shit." Caleb commented and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

Alex just stared at me intensely.

"It a bit more complicated than that though, isn't it?" He asked and I smiled up at him.

"Maybe." I said and they both shared a look.

"Hmm, was it that Finn guy you were talking about the other day?" He asked and I blinked at him, surprised he remembered a name from a simple alphabet game we played for entertainment.

"Uh...No...that's...someone different. His name was Micah." I smiled down awkwardly at the grass I was picking until Patty came and nuzzled at it curiously. I looked up at her and patted her neck and Alex complained when she flicked her tail in his face.

"Well we've been sitting here too long!!" He said as he jumped up and I sighed before standing too.

They both seemed to be in intense thought as we walked back towards the front of the field, until Alex came to walk beside me.

"Then, who's Finn?" He pried and I glared at him for a second before managing a smile.

"No one." I brushed him off before walking out of the gate to the field and leaving them to close it. Sometimes his curiosity gets on my nerves.

I looked over to the sound of people walking as I reached the stables, stepping back and bracing myself when Zac appeared round the corner.

"Aww Rile Rile!"  He exclaimed but was shoved back from squishing me in a hug by Aaron's arm.

"Ah ah, enough of that." He warned making Zac cross his arms and pout and I smirked.

I then blinked at him in surprise when I noticed a ball of fluff in his other arm.

"Where did you get that rabbit from?" I asked him and he smiled down at it.

"It's super cute isn't it? Charlie showed me them." Aaron petted it and looked down at it lovingly.

"Cute...Wait, what? Charlie talked to you?" My jaw dropped and he looked back up to me.

"Yeah, he seemed to like him." Zac said with a raised brow and I looked back at Aaron incredulously.

"Oh. Matias probably told him you were vegan." I realised and rolled my eyes, making him frown.

"Why would you talk to someone because of their diet..." He questioned and I raised a brow at him.

"I think you know that it is a lot more than that. Besides, Charlie is Charlie. No one knows what goes through his mind, not like I'd want to know anyway." I grumbled and he smiled at me.

"Daddy issues, huh? We all have them here." He said and I smirked.

"We should make a club!" Zac suggested making me roll my eyes and Aaron just stared at him before snuggling the bunny again. He rocked it slightly like a baby and petted its head very calmly and gently.

That's fucking adorable.

"Oh yeah, we're about to head out and see if we can make a deal with a lawyer or whatever for tomorrow, seeing as the one on your side isn't very useful at the moment. Are you fine staying here or would you like to come with us?" Aaron explained and my brows raised.

"Tomorrow? There's something going on tomorrow? And wow you actually gave me a choice on something, kudos to you." I said and he bit his lip awkwardly.

"Sorry, and yes, the next hearing is tomorrow. Matias purposely didn't tell us that, the prick, but we managed to find out anyway. We're going to see if we can persuade anyone to help us out with such short notice, but I doubt we'll get anyone qualified enough. Sadly, Chance can't stand in because he's too closely 'involved' with you. As your step brother I mean, not talking about other things, I mean if there even are other things, not saying that there is , I mean-"

"-Yeah okay, I get it." I interrupted his downward spiral into awkwardness and he chuckled awkwardly before just staring down at the rabbit again.

"BUNNY!!" Alex interrupted any further conversation by jumping up to the poor creature. He was stopped from reaching it though by Aaron, who snuggled it closer to his chest and glared at Alex like a protective guard dog.

"Heyyyy." He complained and pouted, but Aaron continued to fend him off from touching the rabbit.

"Be careful." He warned and Alex huffed at him and crossed his arms.

"I was being careful! Who says I wasn't being careful!?"

I chuckled as Alex persisted in his attempt to stroke the creature, and Aaron covered the animal's ears to protect it from Alex's loudness.

"Shh!" He snapped and Alex just stood there, tapping his foot.

Aaron finally let him touch the rabbit once he'd calmed down enough and I smiled at them.

I think Aaron makes a good parent figure for them, to be honest. Despite him being a jealous asshole sometimes.

No one's perfect, after all.

"Can I hold it?" Alex pleaded, obviously trying his best to sound calm.

Aaron looked unsure for a second, before gently placing it in his arms.

"So cute!" Alex exclaimed as he looked down at it, and I tried my best to not start fanboying myself at the adorable sight in front of me.

"Caleb! There are rabbits!" Alex said as he semi-calmly skipped towards Caleb, who was standing a safe distance from us all.

"Wait, when did this happen?" Zac frowned as the two gawked at the rabbit together.

"Just now, I kinda forced them to make friends." I said with a bashful smile and Aaron smirked.

"Huh, you do have your uses." He commented making me give him a look.

Zac just snickered and made a face to himself as he turned around, walking inside.

I bit my lip from the awkwardness of just me and Aaron standing there. I didn't really know Aaron as much as some of them, most of our interactions had been him bossing me around or getting jealous with me.

Oh, and then there's the fact that he was kind of outed as being attracted to me...

Well, now I feel even more awkward.

I looked over to  Alex and Caleb, who seemed to be in the middle of some intense conversation about rabbits.

"Um, Riley..." Aaron said and I made a face before turning round to look at him.

"I'm sorry, about...the way I've acted up until now..." He said and I sighed.

"I told you that you were forgiven." I said with a small smile and he huffed.

"That wasn't the truth though, was it? I am sorry Riley, I was an asshole, and I was being selfish. I was only thinking about how things were effecting me, and I didn't put myself in your shoes at all. I thought about why things escalated the way they did, and I realized, if I was in your situation, I would've been ten times more angry than you were. You're an extremely patient person Riley, and I really respect you for that." He apologised sincerely and I blinked in surprise before smiling at him.

"Thank you, I appreciate that." We shared a smile before Chance and Chester both walked into view as they headed to the car. They both shared a look as they spotted us just awkwardly standing there.

"Are you two coming?" Chester asked while Chance looked around awkwardly, possibly still feeling a bit guilty.

"I don't think I want to..." I said and Aaron frowned.

"I think you should, don't want you being salty about not 'having a say' later on." Chester grumbled and I gave him a look. Is Chester still mad at me for breaking my promise?

"I mean you'll be left with Zac in charge if you stay." Aaron said just as Luca appeared around the corner as well making my eyes widen.

"Okay I'm going." I said quickly and Aaron frowned.

"You don't like him much?" He asked and I bit my lip.

"No he's fine, great, everything is fine." I said quickly and awkwardly and Luca gave me a worried look.

I walked away from them but then swerved to avoid Chance and Chester, who were just oozing awkward tension, and ended up standing behind Luca.

He looked down at me in concern and I just gave him a small smile. Chester grumpily got in the drivers seat of the car and Chance stared at me for a few seconds before getting in the car as well.

Luca stood there blinking in confusion for a few moments before walking forwards towards the car. He turned round when I didn't follow and I jumped when I was given a light push from behind.

"Come on." Aaron encouraged and I gave a sharp sigh before sitting in between them in the back.

They're all so tall.. and big, help me.

I started chewing on my lip and looked down at my phone, scanning through Erin's messages.

I could just feel Luca's eyes on them however and gave him a look. He smiled at me sheepishly then looked out of the window.

"Question, do you all need to be here?" I asked, wondering why I was stuck in between all of them and Chance sighed.

"No, they're all just persistent little brats that can't keep their noses out of your business." He said and Chester elbowed him.

"Ow!"

"Not the only thing they can't keep themselves out of." Aaron muttered sourly to himself making me glare at him and pinch his arm.

"Ah! Ouch, oh shit, was I right?" He asked and I cringed as the atmosphere just became a lot more thick and awkward.

"Thanks for that, Aaron." Luca huffed and I sat back in my seat while burying my face in my hands.

Awkwardddd.

There was a few moments where everyone just looked at each other, neither confirming or denying anything, until Aaron started chuckling.

"Oops, now it's just awkward." He commented making me kick his shin and slide down further into my seat.

Okay, this is not going to be fun.
