"That's just creepy." I stated as I looked at a beheaded plushie looking human hanging from the ceiling. They were scattered all over the room as well as images of guts and blood and a giant sculpture of a spider. Was this artist okay? Just wondering.

"I think its interesting, I mean you can clearly see they're slightly fucked up, just from what art they created." Alex said seriously and I smiled at him.

"Right. And writing 'guys go to be honest with you I'm slightly fucked in the head' wouldn't have done it" I commented and he rolled his eyes at me.

"You clearly don't appreciate the art of expressing yourself through materials."

"No, words are much clearer, and that way you're not misunderstood."

"You think people don't misunderstand the written word? I call lie on that one."

"Well, they misunderstand it less. Like actions, they're always misunderstood."

"Ugh TRUE! People are always misunderstanding my actions." He puffed out and then gave me some kind of accusatory look.

What? Me? What actions?

"Come on! We've got lots of paintsplashes with deeper meanings to see and not all day to see it!" He exclaimed as he walked off making me snicker.

-

"What do you see in this painting?" Alex's voice caught my attention and I stopped facebook stalking Erin for a moment to look up at him.

He had a slightly amused expression on his face making frown before looking at the painting.

"..."

"You see what I see don't you?"

"As in two men seemingly having intercourse?"

"Yep."

"Yes I do then."

"Well, supposedly that's a woman."

"How? That's obviously a male"

"Well people who bought the art say it's female."

"Well they're obviously homophobic, I call discrimination!" I said with an amused smile and he rolled his eyes at me.

"The artist must be a fangirl." He said and I narrowed my eyes at the artist name.

"I thought Claude was a male name?"

"Oh. Ohhhhh."

It was now my turn to roll my eyes at him and I started walking in the direction of the exit.

"Right we made it to the end we're leaving!" I stated and made sure he had no time to protest before walking out into the fresh, cold and damp air.

"Where to now?" I asked him as he stood next to me.

"This direction!" He said before skipping off and I rolled my eyes before quickly following him.

Eventually after a long time of walking accompanied by the most random of conversations we'd come across a giant mall. Of course, it's London.

Despite malls not really having any entertainment value to it Alex seem insistent that we went inside, and I was left watching him cautiously and reminding him that I would ditch him if he began buying shit.

The atmosphere is always nice in a mall, despite my introvert self not liking noise. Everyone seems so energetic and busy, plus its not like they're shouting, just talking contentedly amongst themselves.

"Stay here." Alex suddenly ordered and pointed to where I was standing.

"Okay..." I replied unsurely and he smiled before disappearing into the crowd.

What is he doing...

I sighed and looked around, watching all the different types of people walking around going about their daily lives. Such a diverse range of people in London.

So many gay people too...I thought as i noticed two men walking along with a child. I mean, they could just be pals, but...they are holding hands. Who am I to judge though friends could just be that close in London...

Wow that's the most hilarious thing I've ever thought of.

I raised a brow at myself for my awkward train of thought before looking down at my phone. Nothing seemed to hint to anything out of the ordinary going on. Of course there was some of the brothers on facebook sub-texting me posting statuses about how annoyed they are at 'some people'.

Yeah sorry not sorry.

I blinked in surprise when the screen of my phone was blocked by rainbow colours. I raised a brow when I realised it was in fact a rose dyed rainbow.

I looked up at Alex with a confused smile to see him grinning at me.

"What?"

"It's for you duh, I saw it when I was buying something and couldn't resist."

"Um, thank you, always wanted a rose that resembled the homosexual flag. I mean its not like that's possibly dangerous to carry around or something" I voiced my concerns while my cheeks became hot from blushing.

I have a feeling he likes to make people blush to be honest.

"Pfft don't be paranoid it's fine, plus most people would think that's simply a rainbow rose, cause rainbows are awesome!" He beamed and I gave him an unsure crooked smile.

"Uh, what did you buy anyway?" I asked, giving him a scolding look for ignoring my pleas for him not to go on a shopping spree.

"Sorry, but I saw chocolate. Oh, but I bought you some! Look, dairy free!" He said and held out a really fancy looking bar of chocolate, making me blush again.

"Alex what are you doing its not like you owe me anything or something." I commented uncomfortably and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Jeez you don't have to owe someone to do something nice! Just accept it! And I know that you like chocolate come one, everyone likes chocolate." He persisted and I smiled at him.

"Chocolate makes my teeth ache to be honest, but thank you, really." I said and he frowned.

"Wow, tough life."

"Plus, it's unhealthy and I usually avoid sugar." I added on making him scoff at me.

"Perfect skin and teeth like yours come at a price eh?" He teased making me give him a look.

"Sugar doesn't give me bad skin, dairy does."

"Seriously? Lies."

"Seriously! That's why we all became plant-based. Charlie freaked out one day when I woke up with a spot. He couldn't take his precious offspring not looking the way he wanted so actually hired someone to stop it. Took some tests and found out that for me in particular, dairy causes acne. So then thinking he's some expert in nutritional health he banned dairy, and eggs for good measure, from any of our food." I explained and he seemed shaken for some reason.

"Your father is vegan....?" He asked and I frowned.

"Yes..."

"So everyone in that manor doesn't eat dairy? No cheese? Or mayonnaise?"

I rolled my eyes at him as he looked ahead in some kind of traumatised shock.

"Can tell what you spend most of your time thinking about. Nope, none of that. I would comfort you by saying that he'd have dairy-free substitutes and that, but he likes to think he's being extra healthy by only having non-processed foods."

"NON-PROCESSED? What the hell does he eat, carrots??"

I laughed at his obvious dismay. Of course it wasn't so shocking for me, I'd grown up with it, not that horrific when you're used to it.

"Don't show any of that scepticism when my father's around. See he knows everything and is always right, so don't tell him any different." I ranted kind of sourly to myself and Alex raised a brow at me with a smile.

"Sounds like my father tbh." He stated and I smirked.

"What am I supposed to do with everything you've just given me...?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Well seeing as you've clearly displayed your disinterest in eating this chocolate, I'll hold it for now. And with the rose, you can do this." He said before taking the rose and curling the stalk into a circle, clipping it with a pin I hadn't realised was there and placing it on top of my head like a crown.

I gave him a look as he stood back and smiled at me.

"What is this, pride day? I'm not wearing a gay flower crown on my head."

"Um, don't assume the flower's sexuality. And it's fine! You look extra cute!" He brushed me off and I sighed at him.

"Plus there is a pride day on Tuesday, I saw it on a poster." He added and I raised a brow at him.

"That's Tuesday, not today."

"Well my past reasons still stand, it's fine! Now lets go, it's getting dark already." He exclaimed before grabbing my hand dragging me back in the direction of the main streets.

I feel so gay right now.

-

"Aww, you look adorable!" Layla squeaked happily as soon as she saw me, making me reach to take the crown off my head and having Alex pout at me.

I left it as it was and his expression changed to a smile.

...Seriously.

"Hey, perfect timing though, come help me take the horses to their stalls. Hey, step-brother person, you like horses?" She chirped and he smiled at her.

"Alex, and yes I do!"

"Great! Here's Ziathe's halter, he's the appaloosa horse out in the pasture. And you can have Noah's Riley." She said as she gave us halters before walking off in the direction of the field.

I walked up to Noah, who was a large black and white gypsy vanner, with a smile on my face.

"Hey there, long time no see." I said as I petted his head, wasting no time in putting the halter round his head as it was getting cold out.

"So pretty!" Alex commented as he looked at Ziathe, who was white and spotty all over.

"Isn't he? I prefer Jess though!" Layla responded, and I'm guessing she was talking about the chestnut she was leading back towards the stable.

"Noah rules all on looks." I stated as I looked up at him with a smile.

Once we'd tucked the horses safely away, Layla left us saying she was going to meet up with friends and we just started lingering outside the manor not really wanting to go in.

"You don't like Matías much do you?" I asked Alex as he just stared at the front door awkwardly.

"No, he's suspicious." He replied with narrowed eyes and I smirked at him.

"Why? He hasn't even done anything to you." I stated with an amused grin and he shrugged."Maybe you're just intimidated by his looks." I added and he snapped his head over to give me a look.

"Boys, what are you doing?" My father's voice sounded from behind us and I turned round to see he'd just stepped out of a car.

How did I not notice that? And he'd been out of his office?? Damnit.

Okay I'm lying to myself thinking I'd sneak in without asking first.

I sighed instead of responding and he raised a brow at me.

"Something the matter?"

Should I tell him? Um, no...not right now.

"Nope, everything's fine." I smiled and he seemingly let it go after a few seconds of staring at me.

"Okay...Well come inside its dark and cold and I don't want you catching anything." He said before opening the door.

I shared a glance with Alex who was staring at me demanding answers before sighing again and following Charlie into the house.
