I woke up to the sound of birds outside the window and the feel of Erin's hot skin on my cheek. I blinked as I slowly woke and felt Erin's fingers trailing through my hair lightly.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" was the first thing he said as he smiled at me and I smiled back as I began recalling last nights events in my head.

Shit...

I sighed before laying my head back down on his chest and hating on life in my head.

"What time is it?" I asked and felt his head moved slightly.

"10:25 , when do you have to go to the airport?" he asked and I bit my lip.

"I don't know, the plane leaves at 4 but I shouldn't stay in this town for too long, better to not underestimate my crazy step-family." I explained and he scoffed.

"It will be fine" he said passively and I rolled my eyes.

He's underestimating them.

Damn I feel like a fugitive.

"I still need your bank details" I pointed out and he grumbled.

"Yeah yeah, later jeez calm down" he brushed me off before taking a heavy breath in.

It then became silent and I just stared at the wall listening to everything around me. I don't know if it was annoying or cute that I could hear children playing happily outside, but I liked the feeling of living in a neighbourhood. I've only ever lived in city flats or isolated mansions...

That's kind of a large contrast...

I lifted my head up when I started to hear sounds from inside the house.

"Erin...someone's in the hallway outside..." I pointed out and he tensed.

"That's probably my mother..."

"Does she knock before entering?" I asked as I started to sit up ready to bolt but he grabbed my shoulder.

"Nope. She usually bursts in" he explained and I gave him an incredulous look.

"Umm can you let me go then??" I asked as the footsteps came closer and closer.

"It's fine she already knows I like you anyway" he said and the footsteps stopped.

I managed to pull out of his grip and stand awkwardly in the middle of the room while there was quick knocking at the door.

"See, she knocked; probably thinks we're indecent or something" he said as he snuggled back up in the sheets with his eyes closed and I shot daggers at him with my eyes.

"Erin you awake??!" an energetic and loud voice made me jump as it filled the room like there was no door there in the first place.

"I am now" he called back and I just stood there kind of shocked as she burst into the room.

He tells Clara about who he likes? That's....kind of adorable, I think...also makes me slightly uncomfortable.

"GF honey are you okay?" I blinked as I realised she was standing in front of me with a worried look and smiled.

"Er, yeah I'm fine" I said and she smiled and patted my head.

"Aww just woke up did you? Sorry for bursting in like that, although I did knock!" she said before moving over to drag Erin out of bed.

"Come on sweety your....breakfast is  waiting!" she seemed to freeze and reconsider her wording as she grabbed on his arm and yanked.

She's probably talking about medicine he needs to take...

I sighed before raising my brow at Erin who was trying his best to remain in the bed.

"Erin you're too heavy for this!" Clara complained as she leaned back with all her might.

"That's the point! I'm not ready to see the world yet, just a few more years please!" he exclaimed and tried to crawl back under the covers.

"Erin come on otherwise I'll forget about your....breakfast!" she froze again and Erin rolled his eyes.

"Breakfast? Forget about it mother he already knows" he commented and she let go of him.

"Oh...Well...That makes things easier" she said before grabbing Erin's sheets and tugging them off of him.

"Meerghgh" was Erin's sound of complaint and Clara sighed like she'd just finished a project or something.

"Why don't you have a shower while I sort Erin out hey dear? But don't take an hour this time!" she suggested and I smiled.

"I'll try not to, thanks" I replied before picking up my clothes for the day.

I have no clean boxers...great.

"Take my briefs from the draw" Erin suddenly said as he sat up on the bed like he had read my mind and I beamed at him.

"Thank you!"

-

When I came down the stairs after showering Erin was sitting at the table tucking in to some eggs on toast making me grimace at it.

Really don't like the smell of eggs...

"You going already?" Clara asked as she looked at the bag on my back and I shook my head.

"Just getting organised I guess" I explained and she seemed to be relieved.

"Good! Would you like some breakfast? Erin told me not to make you anything yet because you have weird eating habits!" she said like she suspected Erin was just being mean and I smirked.

"Er, yeah. I only eat plant-based" I explained and she then had a confused look on her face.

"Really? I swear you had Nutella the last time you were here..." she pondered and I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Plant-based...apart from Nutella...and Lindor chocolates" I said and Erin rolled his eyes.

"I told you, he literally conforms to every gay stereotype." Erin commented and I scoffed at him.

"How's that a gay stereotype??" I complained as Clara was rooting around in a cupboard for something.

"Going Vegan, I mean 'plant-based'  for health benefits, that's totally a gay trend right now!" he exclaimed and I rolled my eyes as I sat down next to him.

"I was plant-based before it was a thing"

"Before it was mainstream huh??Oh so you're a hippie now are you??" he continued to tease and I hit him on the shoulder.

"FOUND IT!!!" Clara suddenly screeched making both of us jump.

"Oh my god, is that marmite?" I said as I looked at the small jar while she hopped up to us.

"YEEP! I bought it from the British foods section, see it says 100% vegetarian, want some on toast? " she asked and I grimaced.

"I don't really get along with marmite, but I'd love to try it again thank you" I smiled and she happily hopped over to the kitchen counters.

"The fuck is Marmite?" Erin's voice sourced from next to me and I smirked.

"Yeast extract." I explained and he made a horrified expression.

"Pardon??"

"Love it or hate it" I said with an amused smile and he seemed really confused for a few moments before just getting on with eating his breakfast.

"There we go!" I jumped again when Clara snuck up from behind me and placed the toast and brown spread in front of me.

"Thank you" I said as I looked down at it.

"Um....ew?" Erin looked at it like it was a carcass and I smiled.

"Try some" I suggested and he gave me an unsure look.

"I don't want to die today thank you" he exclaimed and I scoffed.

"Try it don't be a wuss!"

He eventually picked up the toast and took a bite, remaining neutral for a few seconds before his face morphed into an almost pained expression.

"That's vile" he stated and I chuckled.

"VILE" he exclaimed again as he tried to rub it off of his tongue and I shook my head at him.

"Love it or hate it" I repeated before chuckling to myself again.

-

After breakfast Clara insisted the we just 'chill out' in the living room for a bit. We did, but only after I forced Erin to give me his bank details.

I am completely determined to get that money now, there is no way I'm returning to this country without having sent him some.

We just sat on one of the sofas and talked. About simple things that really had no benefit, but it was nice.

Erin was definitely chilling out, lying across the sofa with his legs on my lap. Which was actually really annoying because my legs were kind of falling asleep.

As much as he protested I did have to ask him about his cancer for a bit. I wanted to understand exactly what's wrong in case I found any other ways to help him.

He then asked me about my home, and after nearly a whole hour of talking about it I actually really wanted to go. I wanted to see Layla the housemaids daughter again. And all the horses I grew up with. Shame I can't take Anatara with me, bet she'd love it there.

"Do you know your Dad's husband much?" he asked and I sighed.

"I've heard allot about him, and seen him in video calls, but that's about it. He seems alright, I won't prejudge just because he caused me discomfort." I said and he scoffed.

"Discomfort? Yeah only a bit!" he rolled his eyes and I gave him a look.

"What's the time?" I asked and he looked at is phone before sighing.

"2....." he said and I sighed.

"I need to get going..."

"Yeah....." he looked down at his hands with a frown and I bit my lip guiltily.

He then suddenly leaned forward and grabbed my lip making me look at him in surprise.

"If you bite your lip one more time I'll bite it"  he warned and I smiled.

"Wow, kinky" I commented and he shoved my shoulder.

"Come on, if you're late it'll stress me out" he encouraged as he stood up and I smiled before following him into the kitchen.

"Is your phone charged?" he asked as I picked it up to call a taxi and I nodded.

He stood there staring at me intensely making me slightly uncomfortable as I talked on the phone and I gave him a look when I hung up.

"What?" I asked him in concern.

"Nothing, just wondering if this is the last time I'll see you" he said making me frown.

"It won't be." I stated and he sighed.

I then pulled him into a tight hug and he buried his head in my neck.

I glared at the wall as I squeezed him tightly, not wanting to let go but knowing I had to.

He placed our foreheads together when I pulled away, making smile as I sniffed with watering eyes.

"Off somewhere?" Clara's voice suddenly sounded from the hallway and I looked over to see her looking at me in questioning.

"Er, yeah..." I said awkwardly and Erin sighed.

"He's got to go back to England for a bit" he explained bluntly and her eyes widened.

She looked at him like she was demanding answers.

"Really? Even though..." she couldn't quite ask and I winced.

"I'll be back as soon as I can" I reassured both of them but neither of them smiled.

"Er...I'll be going then" I excused myself awkwardly and bit my lip.

Erin grabbed my arm making me look back at him in questioning. My eyes widened in surprise when he kissed me right in front of his mother, nipping my lip kind of harshly as he pulled away.

"Ow" I commented with a smile and he gave me a teasing look.

I didn't take another breath until the front door had closed behind me, sighing when I did before carrying on down the path.

The scene that I had just walked away from stayed engraved into my mind as I stood waiting for the taxi, making me stare at the ground solemnly.

My eyes suddenly darted up when I picked up movement however, and I frowned when I saw a familiar looking car facing away from me at the end of the road.

...

That's Chester's car...

Fuck.

My eyes widened and I froze as I stood there, hoping with all I had that he either wasn't in there or he wouldn't turn around.

Chester's probably really angry at me right now, judging by the fact I promised I'd be back...

First time I've ever broken a promise...makes me feel like shit.

I bet he got in serious trouble though, kind of amusing actually.

Um, priorities Riley!

I stood there hoping for what felt like hours, but it was actually only a few minutes.

I dived into the taxi when it finally arrived, ducking out of view of the car as we drove past it.

I bet there are more of them patrolling the town looking for me. Damn I'm in so much trouble.

As the journey went on I kept on checking for familiar cars following me, but I never saw any.

-

I sighed as soon as the taxi pulled out away from me at the airport. It was kind of congested on the way here, making me regret not leaving earlier to be honest, I'm kind of late.

I looked around cautiously for any familiar faces before walking into the building. I'm being paranoid.

The airport was busy and loud as expected. I tried to keep my head down and walked directly to the front desks, just in case I was being watched or anything.

"Fancy seeing you here" a voice sounded from in front of me as I walked in and I looked up with wide eyes.

Okay. Maybe I wasn't just being paranoid, because standing there with a smug smile like he was certain I'd be here...

Was Alex.

How did he know?? :O lol

I pumped for this adventure!! haha
