oh also i doodled Riley the other day, just a rough concept piece, feel free to imagine him differently, it really doesn't matter

The next morning I avoided people even more, actually staying in my room until Luca started calling me in agitation saying we're late. Thank the gods it's Friday I'm telling you, wouldn't be able to take much more of this. Mind you the fact it is Friday doesn't help the at home situation....

Oh well, maybe I'll find it easier to stay in my room all day during the weekend.

At least less people are overly grouchy today...in fact they seem kind of blue...

Hope that's not my fault.

I didn't say anything the whole time and Luca kept on glancing back at me with a concerned expression.

Or should I say his normal expression?

Whatever.

Speaking of grouchy, Erin is unbelievably grouchy today. Looks like he hasn't been getting much sleep, but he's been making sarcastic or downright mean remarks every time I catch his attention, whether it be by moving or making a noise.

I don't mind, if he's feeling unwell it is best not to fight with him, he's getting all his negative energy out.

...Just wish he would get it out in another way rather than making me feel like a bullied 12 year old.

It was when Erin started glaring at the teachers and loud students that I knew this was going to be a problem. The stuck up 'popular kid' types don't take well to being snapped at.

"Erin" I snapped when he glared at someone who brushed his shoulder after lesson and he sighed.

"What." He snapped with a frown and I bit my lip.

"You should go home if you feel that bad" I suggested and he sighed again.

"No. I'm not going home. Stop asking me that." He growled and I blinked.

"...That's the first time I've suggested that..." I pointed out and he stared at me.

"I mean...people in general need to stop asking me that" he corrected himself with a mutter and I frowned.

"But you're really angry-"

"I KNOW!" he snapped before grimacing and holding his head and I just stood there kind of awkwardly as people rushed by us in the hallway.

"I don't want to be...I just am...everything is annoying" he complained before huffing again and I smiled at him sympathetically.

I need to get to my physics lesson...

"Do you have a free period right now?" I asked him and he nodded with a glare at the floor.

I sighed and bit my lip again, conflicted on whether I should stay with him or not.

I ended up following him as he started walking off down the hallway, a few metres behind as I didn't want to get snapped at again.

He looked back at me slightly and slowed down letting me catch up and I smiled at him.

"I'm so glad it is the holidays now" he huffed with a fatigued tone in his voice and I sighed too.

"Just in time" I stated making him snicker.

"You have no idea" he commented with a quiet mutter making me raise a brow.

What...

The bell signalling that you were supposed to be in class by now made me stop and cringe in guilt. I sighed before turning back and seeing a group of two guys and one girl all glaring at Erin who was facing them.

Oh great, what just happened...

"You got a problem or something?" one of the boys asked, his arm wrapped around the girl's shoulders.

Seriously..

I approached them and stood behind Erin, trying to not look like I was trying to pick a fight or something.

"Define 'problem'?" Erin muttered and he glared at him.

"Think you're some kind of punk or something?" he asked in a hostile tone and I rolled my eyes.

This guy was obviously looking for a fight, looking to show off his macho manliness in front of this girl who seems to think her face is a canvas I suspect...

But its fine, it's not like Erin would actually put himself in that kind of situ-

"You think you're some kind of celebrity or something?" he spat back and the boy stepped forward.

Oh BOTHERATION!

I grabbed Erin's arm and started dragging him away much to his resistance.

"Where are you going? Letting a posh fag drag you away are you, how romantic!" he called and I stopped.

Oh no he DIDN'T!

"Do I even know you, sweetie?" I asked hostilely with crossed arms after spinning around and the guy standing behind him snickered.

"I'm in two of your classes shithead, don't tell me the stereotype of gay people being stupid is actually true?" he provoked and I tssked.

"Why don't you come over here and call me stupid, and then I'll show you how much I actually uphold to gay stereotypes huh?" I said while taking a few steps back towards them and Erin didn't stop me, quite the opposite actually as he sped in front of me and I had to grab his arm and hold him back.

"Come on Erin" I persisted as he was in no shape for some kind of school fight and we began walking away from them as the boy smiled at me smugly as if he had somehow won the fight.

Ugh, jocks.

I thought the situation had ended until I heard that annoying voice again calling to us.

"Don't get so red and angry, you'll melt Twink-ey!" the arrogant shithead called to Erin I'm guessing and I scoffed before turning round and storming towards him.

Better me than Erin!

I stopped in front of him acting like I was hesitating making him cross his arms smugly before I lunged for him, easily making him slam onto the floor with my weight.

The girl screamed and the other boy tried to pull me off of his friend making me elbow him in the face.

"Riley!!?" Erin called in shock.

Wait, he wasn't planning to attack him if I didn't? Oops...

"You punch like a girl, fairy!!" he called as he pushed me off of him, punching me right in the eye and I kicked him right where it hurts most.

"Thank you, I'm flattered" I commented as he writhed red faced on the floor and then looked to the other guy holding his bleeding nose and glaring at me.

"Not bad for a two inch mythical winged creature, huh?" I smiled while I felt a black eye starting to form and jumped when a tall old man stormed out of a history classroom shouting his head off.

I looked to Erin wide eyed then motioned for him to leave making him glare at me in confusion before changing his mind when the old man started approaching us and speed walking down the hallway.

The girl also abandoned her so called lover and made a break for it, unfortunately for her being spotted by the teaching assistant behind him and being told to stay.

As the oxygen returned to my head reality started to come to me, and I felt a sickening pit in my stomach when I thought about how much trouble I'd get in.

Another fight? Public schools are too much for me, I want to be home tutored again...

--

"Riley Carson Stevens, you're suspended until further notice" the principle stated bluntly as I sat in the office chair and I grimaced.

Not just at being suspended, I've never been called that last name before. Is that really what's written down as my last name? Is this my mother's doing? Surely I have a choice in whether I want to take on my mother's new last name or not?

Ew we all have the same last name that's just awkward...

"Are you even listening??" he snapped, making me jump and sit up straight.

"Um, what do you mean by until further notice?" I asked and he sighed.

"We'll discuss this after the holidays are over" he answered and I raised a brow.

"But I won't be here after the holidays are over, I'll be suspended" I stated and he glared at me.

"Someone should be here to pick you up shortly" he said before writing something and I gulped.

Who.....Can they please not be blonde...Or red headed...ginger is okay.

Yeah, please let it be Chester, that would be great.

It was silent for a few minutes before I heard commotion out in the reception, I tensed up and looked at the floor.

My eyes were caught by the movement of someone crossing their arms and I cringed when I noticed blonde hair, double cringing, if that's even possible, when I noticed blue eyes with dark rimmed glasses framing them.

Chance. The worst possible fucking person.

He stood in the entranceway to the office, arms tightly crossed and jaw gritted closed, his blue eyes piercing my soul like I'd just killed an innocent child.

"I trust I can leave further disciplinary methods to you, young man" the principal spoke to him but his eyes never left mine.

"Quite" he snapped in a tense and sinister tone before pointing and snapping his fingers instead of telling me to walk out of the office.

I stood up awkwardly and walked passed him, feeling the pissed aura as I slipped out of the office and through the reception. I waited for him as he talked with the principal, almost feeling myself break out in a cold sweat when he eventually turned towards me with a cold stare.

He walked passed me and I guessed I should follow him, walking out of the school grounds while biting my lip.

"Um, sorr-"

"SHUT. the FUCK. up." He snapped before I could finish my sentence, holding is finger up at me and making me blink at him.

Um...

Help.
