This may not have worked, but this is Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado! Enjoy.

Colten's POV.

I miss her. I miss her more than I've ever missed her before. Okay, maybe that's a lie, but it's close.

I'm still beating myself up over brining up Trevor after Nikki and I had sex. It was my fault that she kicked me out, and being the stupid person that I am, added fuel to the fire by saying things that weren't true.

"God, I'm stupid!" I shout, slamming my fist into my bedroom wall, creating a hole. I can't tell you how many times I've had to fix my wall due to my anger issues.

I fall back on my bed, sprawling my arms and legs across the sheets.

If I could go back and change that day, I would. Actually, I would change the day I left Nikki behind when I left for college in California.

I remember that day so vividly, the day I told her that I got excepted into Berkley and was not going to go to University Of Michigan.

I remember how broken she looked, I remember the tears that she shed. I don't deserve her tears, I don't deserve her, but I want to. I want to be able to deserve her, I have a feeling that that was my last chance, though. I won't be able to live with myself if I let her slip through my fingers again.

"Fuck it," I curse and grab my phone. I need to call her, I need to hear her angelic little voice.

"This number is no longer available." What?

"This number is no longer available." Are you fucking kidding me! She blocked me?

Damn, if this doesn't hurt.

"Hello," James answers the phone on the second ring. If Nikki won't talk to me than I'll have to find a way to get my mind off of her.

"I need a drink," I tell him, rubbing my forehead.

"You've called the right guy." James says he'll be over at my house in ten minutes with the some drinks. Luckily, my mom is working until eight tonight, so I have plenty of time to get smashed.

True to his words, James arrives ten minutes later with a gigantic paper bag and a hand cooler.

"Don't you think people are going to think something's up if you have this many things in your hands?" I ask him as I take the small cooler and head up to my room.

"They don't know what's in it," James shrugs and sits on my bed, popping open a beer. "Anyways, want to tell me what's got you begging for my assistance all of a sudden?"

"I'm not begging for your assistance," I scoff and pop open my own drink.

"Whatever you want to call me coming to your aid in a time of crisis," he rolls his eyes.

"What makes you think something happened, anyways?" I question, gulping down the foul tasting beer which I make a face at.

"Oh please, you think I don't know you, Mathews?"

"I don't know," I shrug.

"You don't usually drink unless we're at a party or something has happened to your fragile little heart," he smirks.

"James?" He nods for me to continue. "Shut the fuck up."

"What? I just want to know what's going on in that small little head of yours," he squeezes my knee. I glare at him.

"Don't ever touch me like that again, first off, and second off, why do you want to know so badly?"

"Well, I want to know what happened with you and Nikki after you two left on Friday. And I want to know why I had to bring so much alcohol to you."

"Fine, you want to know?"

"Yes!" He throws his hands up exasperated. I pop open my second can and take a sip before talking.

"Nikki and I fucked on Friday," I tell him and he raises his eyebrows suggestively.

"Damn! You got it that quick, I'm so proud of you," he pushes my shoulder.

"Yeah, well it didn't last long." I finish off my second drink and go onto the next.

"What happened?"

"Well, I was being stupid and asked her what she was going to do about her boyfriend. She said she didn't know and that got me mad. I said some things she said some things. Long story short, she kicked me out and we haven't talked since." I explain to him.

"Hmm, interesting, but what's with this sending of flowers thing?" He asks with eyebrows furrowed. Jackson must've told him about that, whatever.

"I wants to apologize so I got her the flowers I wanted to get her a while back. She never got back with me and I called you over because when I tried calling her today it turns out she blocked me."

"Wow," James nods. "That must be hard. Wanting something, having it for a split second, than have it taken away from you."

"Yeah, it sucks." I go onto my fourth beer. "Got anything stronger?"

"There's some Vodka and Whiskey in there," he points to the paper bag. I grab the Whiskey and unscrew the top, letting the liquid run down my throat. The burn is unreal, but I swallow it anyways wanting to get as drunk as possible.

"What'd Jackson say when he went over to your house the day you sent the flowers?" How'd he know about that? Maybe I told him and don't remember.

"He seemed pissed at first, but then said something about her coming to her senses and being with me,"
I shrug.

I only hope James won't ask any questions because I want to just drink away my sorrows.

A bottle of Whiskey and three beers later I'm completely out of it.

"Ooo, let's turn on some music!" James suggests and I nod, pointing over to my stereo. "Promiscuous? Really?"

"Yeah," I giggle. Did I just giggle?

"Let's play it!" James doesn't wait for my reply before he clicks play.

I start to move my hands in the air, one hand holding the Vodka bottle.

"Nice moves," James snorts.

"And you can do better?" I slur and point at him.

"Of course I can," he says in a 'duh' time.

I nod and move aside. He starts to move his hips from side to side turning around in a circle and pointing sassily at everything he passes. One hand is on his hip as he keeps pointing and turning, his knees slightly bent.

"That was lame," I glare at him.

"Fine, your turn," he steps aside, stumbling a bit making me bust out laughing.

"Okay," I say taking a deep breath before trying, but failing, to do the moon walk. I end up tripping over my feet and face planting on the floor. I hear James's obnoxious hyena laugh over the music and as much as it annoys me, I can't help but laugh, either.

"You just...failed," he yells and falls on the ground again making me laugh even harder, holding my stomach.

"You're...so stupid," I gasp for breath as I continue to laugh while James pouts.

"I'm not stupid, you're stupid," he points at me, but due to his drunken state his arm just falls back down, he looks down at his arm with wonder.

"I need another drink," I sigh.

"Hey, I just met you and this is crazy! But here's my number, so call me maybe!" James shouts at the top of his lungs, his voice cracking.

"Now it's three a.m in the morning and I'm trying to change your mind! Blah blah blah, why'd you only call me when your high!" I sing.

"That's not the same song," James scrunches up his eyebrows and gives me a pointed look.

"Oops," I shrug and lay back down on the floor, to weak to get up and get another drink. "I can't get up!"

"Army crawl," James suggests.

"Good idea," I say and start my journey to the cooler. Not even moving three inches from my spot I lay flat on the ground, my arms and legs sprawled out with my face buried in the carpet. "I give up."

"Lazy ass," James mutters.

I just want to go to sleep.

It's a late update, I know! I'm super sorry for that.

This chapter is sort of boring, I added in a nice little dance number though, hope you enjoyed. Anyways, this chapter is kind of a filler, the next ones will be better, I promise.

Enjoy. Love you <3
