Cause Vikram and Juhi ain't having any sequel any time soon.

A happy ending?

-----

6 months later-

Vikram was having tea with his father in the garden.

The garden was blooming again, why won't it? Afterall, Vikram took care of it now. The grass, the roses, other plants and birds were happy. The garden was his mom's favorite. Taking care of it meant taking her care.

She was convicted and sent to jail for various crimes like abetement to murder, attempt to murder and many more business related frauds.

His father had to pay a hefty fine but Vikram stood by his side through all this.

As for his mother, the stab was her downfall, she had a lifetime of imprisonment ahead.

Vikram always felt guilty for never making things right between them.

But his guilt was lesser than Mr. Raheja's, the man lost his everything after his wife's arrest. He lost his happiness, his hope for a better tomorrow was alive but was feeble without her presence. She is his wife and he failed at fulfilling his vows.

He was dragged out of his thoughts by Vikram's voice,
" Dad, you are thinking that, again?"

He plainly nodded at him.

Vikram sighed, " You know, when I visited her after the arrest. She told me to move on and keep happy memories alive. The past was horrible and she felt guilty for her doings. But the past couldn't be changed, but future can be."

He pressed his father's shoulder, " Dad, mom wants you to be happy. She knew why you couldn't muster courage to show up. She has always loved you and will love you forever. She said, she was very sorry for the moment when she was blinded by the need for revenge, but things couldn't be changed. This doesn't mean you won't smile. She told me to take care of her garden, you know why? Because, she knows you'll spend your time here, feeling her presence by your side. She said, if we both will be happy, genuinely, then we should visit her at that once, to give her ultimate peace. Can you do that?"

Mr. Raheja had tears in his eyes, he nodded at his son and caressed his head, " I can."

" Dad, you have become a softie after that accident." Vikram chuckled. " Give me my stern old man back."

" You don't like this softie version of mine?" He raised a brow at his son who nodded in response, "I like this version more. So, deal with it." He laughed and Vikram joined in.

The doorbell rang indicating someone's arrival.

The house fell silent, on seeing the visitors.

It was the Mishra couple.

Both the Raheja men stood up to welcome them.

" How can we help?" came the rough voice of Mr. Raheja.

Vikram elbowed him, " I didn't want him the stern you to be back so soon."

Mr. Raheja shaked his head at him and glared at Mr. Mishra.

" We are here for Juhi's sake. Please listen to us."

Vikram's ears perked up at her mention. That smile and those hazel eyes came in front of his eyes.

Vikram nodded and offered them a seat.

Mr. Raheja still kept a straight face.

" I know sorry won't decrease your sufferings. I broke the perfect family, you guys had. I have always felt guilty of that. But when Mrs. Raheja extended the proposal, she was unaware of my involvement. Now you are aware, no matter what I do, I can't give happiness to my daughter. She has changed a lot in these 6 months. She rarely smiles, has become a workaholic. She even joined a different company claiming she doesn't want anything to do with us. I fear for her, she doesn't stay with us anymore. I...we want happiness for her." He said wistfully and then looked at Mr. Raheja, " You can kill me if you want, but please help my Juhi. Only Vikram can do that. She was an innocent. I..." tears dropped from his eyes.

Vikram's breath was caught, she suffered so much. She was an innocent. Why was she punishing herself?

Mr. Raheja stopped him from continuing with a raise of his hand, "Why would I kill you and risk a lifetime of jail, huh?" He asked roughly.

Mr. Mishra got down on his knees in front of the man but he caught him and made him stand. " Its good you have realised your mistakes. I won't punish you, it's not my job. But I can forgive you."

Mr. Mishra looked at him in shock, when he was pulled in a hug by the grumpy man. " My wife wants me to move on. This is the first step to it. As for Juhi..." he glanced at his son, who smiled at him.

Vikram left the three elders in the living room to rejoice the old times. He dialled a number,
" I need help."

" What no hello, Mister, I'm your friend and not your secretary, I demand respect."

If Vikram could, he could have smacked his head through the phone.

" Its about Juhi."

" You are getting back! Yay! I will be right over."

-

In the evening-

"Juhi lives here according to my reports. She must be home, doesn't go anywhere just office."

Vikram frowned at the info but anyways pressed the doorbell. He looked back to find the 3 idiots just behind him.

He heard scrambling, so he quickly pushed them back into the lobby towards the elevator and dashed to her door.

The door was opened by a tired looking Juhi.

She saw that her visitor was panting heavily and was no other than Vikram Raheja.

She asked, " Why are you here?"

" Is that a way, you welcome friends?" Vikram asked sassily.

" Well, we have not been in contact recently."

" And whose fault is that?" He grumbled.

Juhi glared at him.

But he opened the door wider and entered inside leaving her behind at the door.

" Vikram! Why are you here?" She shouted.

He didn't bother to answer, just took the mess of her apartment in.

He grumbled, " Who is supposed to keep my house clean? You are worse than me!"

She frowned at his words and checked his temperature, " Are you fine? Lost memory?"

He pulled her hand from his forehead and jerked her to him, " I was an idiot to let you go."

He looked into her eyes. " I was an idiot to not tell you everything and hurt you. You stood by my side despite not knowing anything. I was an idiot to let you go when you shed tears for me, when I was stabbed. I was an idiot to give you the option to find someone better." He cleared his throat and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, " I was an idiot to not approach you when I missed you for last 6 months. I have suffered, you have suffered, we both suffered with this separation. But not anymore."

Her breath hitched and his voice softened, " Will you take me out of this agony? This idiot misses you. Will you complete my incomplete self and become my wife?"

His breath was caught and her eyes were flooded with tears,
" You missed me?"

He nodded.

" You want to marry me?"

" I didn't speak Spanish, did I?" He retorted.

She immediately hit his arm and said,
" This is not how you propose!"

He pouted but got down on his knees.

He took out a box from his signature black coat and opened the box, to reveal a beautiful diamond solitaire.

She gasped and bent down on her knees in front of him. She took his face in between her hands and leaned her forehead to touch his.

" I will marry you."

He smiled relieved and hugged her tightly.

The sound of vigorous coughing broke the two apart from their long hug.

They turned to find 3 sheepish looking monkeys.

They got back on their feet with a suitable distance between them.

Sneha said, " I hear wedding bells. Do you as well?" She asked her partners.

" I can smell a party near." Rahul said.

Ashok said, " You think it over, this man is unbearable." Ashok recieved a smack on his head from his sister.

" That was my line!"

All five of them burst out laughter.

Sneha said, " Let's plan a wedding!"

And everybody roared in celebration.
