It was Saturday and I was getting ready for my date with Jack. I was excited.

"Sissy, you should date, Jordan. I like him."

"Well, we're just friends, so sorry munchkin." I said and she pouted.

The doorbell rang and i went to open it.

"These are for you." He said giving me tulips.

"Thank you." I smiled, I gave them to mom to put them in a vase.

"Have fun." Mom said.

"Just not too much." Dad yelled, I just shook my head.

We arrived at the ice cream place and placed our orders.

We started to eat and talk, he was actually nice.

We walked hand in hand but I didn't get butterflies or spark. I shook it off, maybe they will come soon.

After our date, he took me home he got out with me and walked me to my door.

He pulled me into a kiss, and let me tell you, no spark. But I do like him so, maybe with time they will come.

"Goodnight, Aurora. I'll call you tomorrow." He said smiling.

"Goodnight." I waved and then made my way inside.

I went to sit on the couch confused. I mean if you like someone, shouldn't you feel at least butterflies and have that spark.

At least he wasn't my first kiss, wanna know who was?

It was Jordan, shocking right? It was on my fourteenth birthday, all my friends were playing spin the bottle, and it landed on me and Jordan, it had to be at least ten seconds long.

And let me tell you, wow.

"Was it a good date?" I saw mom next to me.

"It was, he's a great guy."

"But." She said.

"I didn't feel a spark or butterflies, it will come right?"

"Maybe, though the first time your dad held my hand and kissed me i felt fireworks."

"I'm going to give this a try, I like him." I said before going to my room.

"Our daughter is oblivious."

"Yep." Dad said sitting next to her.

Monday morning came I did my routine, had breakfast then Jordan picked me up.

"How was date night?"

"It was good."

"Just good?"

"Yup, he's a sweet guy, let's see where this goes." I said as he just stared at me.

"What?"

"Nothing, you just don't sound convincing that's all." He shrugged.

"Well, I do like him."

The rest of the car ride was silent, eventually we made it to school and were met by our friends.

"What's up, heard you had a date with tool over there." Joey said pointing at Jack.

"He's not a tool, he's sweet."

"Right, and my ass is on fire." Joey replied and they all laughed.

"I'm changing friends." I said before going over to Jack, which he greeted me with a kiss, again no spark or butterflies.

It will come, i just know it.

"You ok?" Trisha asked Jordan.

"If she's happy I'm happy for her." He said before leaving.

"Man, there's got to be a way for her to open her eyes." Jamie said.

"Well, dad thought of one that might work." Brisa said.

"We're listening." Joey said.

"So." She started to explain.

After classes I spotted Jordan on his car, I made my way to his car.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Wanna hang out, we can bake cookies."

"How about, we go for a ride, let's hit the beach."

"Sounds better than my plan." I said and he chuckled.

He drove us to the beach which was twenty minutes away.

"I love the sound of the waves and the breeze." I said as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"Hey, put me down."

"Nope, we're going for a swim."

"But I don't-" I was cut by us crashing into the waves.

"You twit." I splashed water at him.

"Ouch." He said rubbing his left eye.

"Ooops, let me help."

JORDAN'S POV:

She leaned closer and started to rub my eye delicately, she has really soft hands, her lips look so plump, I just want to kiss her.

"There, much better." She gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"Thanks, gorgeous."

"Welcome, handsome." She smiled.

And because of the way we act around each other, people think we're together.

"Well, now I'm hungry." She said.

"How about a movie and Chinese food." I suggest.

"Read my mind." She said as we both got out of the water, we went home, got showered and then she was coming over my house.

"I'm here." She said sitting next to me.

I put play and we watched.

Next day did my routine then I went to pick her up.

As soon as we arrived to school, i gave her a piggy ride like always.

"I'll see you later." She said as she went over to Jack, he pulled her into a kiss, God i wanted to punch Jack's face.

Guess I will put Dad's idea to march.

After class I met up with my sister, Trisha and Joey.

"So, we got you the perfect candidate to play the fake girlfriend." Brisa said.

"Here she comes." Trisha said.

"Meet Kathy Smith."

Well, let's see if this works.
