The school day was over, and you had just gotten home. You tossed your bag on the couch, and rummaged through your cabinets and fridge for something to eat. You were craving something sweet, but you couldn't find anything to snack on.

Then you remembered you know how to bake.

You started prepping ingredients to make your favorite dessert, you laid the ingredients out on the counter neatly, the ones you would use first closest to you, the ones you would use last farther away.

You started mixing wet ingredients first, then the dry ingredients, and slowly combined them. After you added each ingredient, you put them away, keeping your space somewhat clean. You put your baking tray in the oven and started to wait...

Then you heard a...knock at the door??

Saikis POV:

...Would it be weird to just show up and make some random excuse as to why I'm here just because I want sweets?

...I don't care. It's worth it.

Your POV:

You started walking to the door and looked through the peephole, only to see a little bit of bright pink hair. You realized it was Saiki, the guy you sit next to, and, also your neighbor. You let him in, you weren't too unfamiliar with neighborhoods with classmates, you actually had a few experiences like this, so you knew how to go about this.

You led him to the living room, and brewed some tea for him.

"So...what brings you to my house?" You questioned, you were honestly very curious as to what Saiki could want, he seemed pretty much uninterested in.. basically everything.

"I just wanted to see you and how you were adjusting, that's all."

Saikis POV:

Well that was a complete lie. I just came here because I overheard her thoughts and knew she baked.

Maybe befriending her will save my money on sweets and coffee jelly.

Of course, I could bake easily myself, but I would rather not have to spend my own money on ingredients and supplies when she already has the resources and experience.

Your POV:

You were slightly confused to hear Saikis reply. To see you? You didn't believe it for a second.

"Well...that was uh...very sweet of you." You mumbled. You felt a bit flattered that someone was trying to make sure you were adjusting well, but you figured he wouldn't be staying for long. Thank god for the timer, it went off as soon as you finished your sentence.

"I'll be right back, I have some sweets in the oven, would you like some?" You offered, you knew if you didn't at least try to give any to your friends, you would eat them all yourself. But also, you loved sharing your baked goods with your friends, you loved to give gifts and see people smile when they receive them.

"I would like that." Saiki replied, emotionlessly. You found it slightly odd Saiki didn't show any sight of emotion, but that's probably just how he is. You couldn't say you haven't met people like him, people who didn't like to show their feelings much.

You placed the desserts on the table where you and Saiki were sitting at and warned him that the sweets were hot.

That didn't stop him from enjoying the fresh pastries.

"Y/N...do you know how to make coffee jelly?"
