A guy with bright purple hair barged into the room. He started talking to the pink haired teen next to you, his voice as loud as everyone else's, maybe even a bit louder.

You attempted to silence them and distract yourself, but you heard something along the lines of "I HEARD THERES A NEW GIRL IN YOUR CLASS!! IS SHE HOT??"

You just tried to ignore him and pray he wasn't talking about you, and instead listen to Kaidos little rant about dark reunion until you felt a tap on your shoulder.

"Hello there, I'm Reita Toritsuka! You must be the pretty transfer student." He introduced himself, flirting, as he kissed your hand.

To say the least, you were taken aback. Shocked, surprised, and a bit creeped out were all good descriptions of your expression.

"U-uhh...hello...I'm (F/N), (L/N)..." you started, trying to collect your thoughts. You couldn't tell whether to feel flattered or weirded out.

You felt... both? You weren't sure. You kind of just wanted to end the conversation, but he kept fanning the flame.

     ...You were definitely weirded out.

"Wanna hear about your guardian spirit? I'm sure your guardian spirit will be just as attractive as you~" Toritsuka continued on, still not giving it a rest. You'd think that if you were visibly uncomfortable, he would leave you alone. Apparently not.

"N-no.. it's fine, really... besides I don't believe in that type of stuff anyways." You trailed off quietly as you smiled nervously, trying to hide your discomfort. You just started to get creeped out at this point, but couldn't find a way out of the strange situation you were in. You just came to the conclusion he was a hopeless romantic and thought this was how to go about to get a girl to be interested.

You didn't want to make the poor guy feel sad.. so you tried to be polite. Be polite, smile, and try to get away from the situation as quickly as possible, that was the goal.

Then, you saw a nervous expression on his face, and suddenly he had to take off.

Saikis POV:

Geez..did it really take for me to use my telepathy to get that guy to leave? It was obvious she was uncomfortable, even if she tried to hide it.

Not to mention he annoyed everyone else in the classroom with his presence alone... with his blabbering and "flirting tactics," it just made it ten times worse.

I don't mean to meddle in Toritsukas hopeless love life, but that girls thoughts were too much for me to handle listening to.

She's so panicked, all the time, and I can never get away from it, even at home. She's always stressed about something. That's why she's such a hazard to my peace of mind.

Anyways, second period is starting soon. I should start getting ready for it.

A/N: I feel like I'm making Saiki too interested in the reader, but oh well 😞
