It was Christmas Eve, and you were home alone. Your dad said he would visit you for Christmas with your sibling, but the all the flights were booked, so he couldn't make it.

You weren't happy, but weren't sad either. You thought about your mom, and wondered if she would've been proud of you.

(A/N: remember Y/N has a generic tragic backstory, so please excuse the cliche-ness lmfaooo)

Your mom had passed on a couple years back, and Christmas is the time you would always think about her.

You moved on, but that doesn't mean you forgot her.

Your father sent you to Japan earlier in the year, thinking you needed a fresh start. Your surroundings back where you were from made it difficult to push forward.

You sighed, deciding you needed to clear your head. You put on a coat and a scarf, and went on a walk outside.

Snow was falling, and you could see your breath when you exhaled. You enjoyed the snow, it was always pretty and sparkly, yes it was cold...but also pretty.

You were walking around the city next to your neighborhood, admiring the pretty lights and happy families during the Christmas season.

Soon, you got tired of walking. Everything was closing up, and you wanted to go home.

You were on the route to go to your home, when you saw a small playground with two swings. You remembered how much you loved the swings when you were younger, and smiled to yourself.

You sat on the left swing and grabbed your earbuds and phone out of your pocket and put on your favorite playlist, feeling happier then you were an hour ago.

Saikis POV:

Jesus, did my dad seriously have to make me be Santa this year. I would rather be doing anything else then wear this itchy fake beard and cheap costume.

'I wonder if she'd be proud of me..' Huh? Isn't that Y/N?

I looked upon the street which I was levitating over, and saw Y/N sitting on a swing, pushing herself back and forth.

Of course, since I hear her thoughts all the time, I already know about her family. It's sad, but she seems to have come to terms with it.

Maybe after I'm done delivering presents, I'll go see what's up with her, I don't want to be hearing depressing thoughts all night.

Your POV:

You were now just zoning out, thinking of whatever came to mind. You were skipping some songs on your playlist, thinking about cleaning up your old music taste later.

While you were on your phone skipping more songs you added to your 7 hour long playlist, you didn't notice someone sit on the swing next to you, until you felt a tap on your shoulder.

You turned your head towards the right, and saw Saiki sitting next to you, waving slightly.

You took out your earbuds and started talking to him, "Saiki? What are you doing? Shouldn't you be with your family right now?" You questioned, hardly anyone was out right now, so your curiosity got the better of you.

"My parents were being gross with each other, so I wanted to go somewhere where I didn't have to see that." Saiki responded, it always seemed like he was calm and collected, you wondered how he did it.

"Oh..if you want, you can spend a little time at my house. I'm alone this year for Christmas, so it would be nice to have some company." You offered, looking at Saiki. You didn't want to bother him, but it would be nice to spend the holidays with someone else other then your phone.

"...Only if you make me Christmas cookies." Saiki replied. You chuckled, and said you would. Soon, both of you were walking towards your house in the snow.

You and Saiki were talking about Christmas, and activity's that you both would do. Saiki was going to watch Christmas movies with his parents later, and you were going to go shopping when everything opened back up.

You both entered your house, hanging up your coats on a coat hanger near your door, and you started prepping the cookies.

You were in charge of making the cookie batter, and Saiki was in charge of making the frosting.

You were a little shocked Saiki knew how to make frosting, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Later, the cookies were in the oven, and Saiki had finished the three colors of frosting he wanted to make.

"While we wait, want to play video games?" You asked, grabbing two controllers, while Saiki shook his head no.

"Saiki, all you play are those bad, 2012 action games that look like they would give you a virus, it won't kill you to play something else." You joked, while Saiki looked slightly annoyed, as he finally gave into playing with you.

You both were playing (favorite video game), and Saiki was surprisingly good at it, he killed you almost 6 times.

"I thought you didn't play popular games like these, why are you so good already?" You questioned, leaning back on the couch sighing, while Saiki simply smirked at his victory.

     Ding!

The cookies were done, and ready to be frosted after they cooled. You got them out of the oven and put them on a cooling rack, while you and Saiki played another game for about 10 minutes.

"Saiki, I think the cookies are cool now, let's go decorate them!" You said, setting down your controller, as Saiki followed.

Saiki had made red, white, and green frosting, and put them in piping bags. You and Saiki decided to turn this into a competition, to see who could make the better cookies.

You made cookies that looked like peppermints, with some red sprinkles on top, while Saiki made his cookies look like Christmas wreaths. Needless to say, Saiki won...again.

You sighed, and ate your cookie in defeat, you wondered how Saiki was so naturally talented, but didn't pay much mind other then that.

After eating some cookies, Saiki told you he needed to leave, but he thanked you for the cookies. You saw Saiki walk out, and you felt..happy. Happy that you had someone to spend Christmas Eve with.

Saikis POV:

Even though I had to leave, it was somewhat fun to make cookies with Y/N. I'm glad she got a happy Christmas.

I entered my house, seeing my father was completely okay, as his back miraculously healed.

"Kuu, I saw you walk back from Y/N's house, when are you going to tell her how you feel?" My mom asked, she had taken a liking to Y/N, mainly because she was the first person I told her about when she asked if I made any friends.

"It's not like that. Anyways, I'm going to bed. Goodnight." I replied, frankly, I didn't care about the movie I was going to miss out on, I was just tired of being Santa Kusuo.

A/N: Thank you sm for 100 reads! I know Christmas has passed but I needed something to write about 💀 Anyways, Happy late Christmas and New year!
