I pulled my arm away from Max's hold. "Let me go, Max! He didn't deserve that, how could you do this to him?!"

"Chelsy, haven't you disrespected me enough? Out of all the guys you could have dated, why my best friend?! Of all the guys in the whole wide world."

"I love him Max, I love him and he loves me, we love each other, okay?! You can't tear us apart like this! Please."

"Love?" He shook his head as if I was a little kid standing beneath him, his 6ft height didn't save me from feeling like I really was either. "Chels, do you even know what love is? You're seventeen for Christ's sake!"

I pushed my hair back, bitter tears leaving my eyes. "I know what love is Max, okay? You say you love me but why can't you let me be with whoever I want?!"

"What do you think? You think this going to be one of those fairytale movies and you both will live happily ever after? Well guess what, that will not happen Chelsy! Nathan isn't ready! He isn't ready for love, he isn't ready to settle down and he isn't ready to be committed to anyone, he isn't ready for you Chelsy, so stop thinking this is going to last forever!"

I almost shoved him in the chest for the words he just spoke.

Who says we wouldn't last forever? I knew what I felt with Nathan and Max would never understand.

"You just don't get it!" I said, "What we have is special, alright?! It's freaking special!"

He scoffed. "Special? Chelsy you're not used to the world of dating, one touch from a guy have you thinking that you have found your lifelong partner! Well let me tell you, I am good at this damn game, not because you feel butterflies means you will marry the guy so wake up!"

"You wake up! I am seventeen! Seventeen! I am not ten anymore so stop trying to control me!"

My mom came on the scene, Maria following behind her. "What's going on here guys?"

I wrapped my arms around myself, my eyes red and puffy from the tears I was crying.

This was all so messed up and no words could explain the deep hurt I was experiencing at that moment.

"Tell them Chelsy!" Max yelled. "Tell Mom and Maria what you have been doing behind our backs!"

My mom looked at me with a confused facial expression. "Honey? What does he mean?"

I swallowed, but somehow I wasn't scared about them finding out. This was it anyway, the secret was already out.

"Tell them how much you and Nathan have been fucking around in secret!"

"Max, language!" Mom scolded, and Maria looked at me a bit puzzled.

"Is that true sweetie?"

I sobbed softly, putting my palms over my eyes.

"Of course it is true, Aunt Maria," Shelly who was standing on the sidelines with a smug smile stated, her arms folded across her chest in satisfaction. "And just so you guys know, they even had sex last night."

Vicky shot eyes of anger to her. "Shut the hell up, Shelly."

"Ha look at you, finally can speak eh? And you were so dumb when I revealed how much you are dying over Max, stupid."

"Everyone please stop it!" My mom raised her palms, taking a deep breath then she turned to look at me. "Chelsy, what is going on?"

I shook my head. "I-I don't want to talk about it, Mom. I really don't."

I turned away and ran off, chasing off to the Villa rooms. I pushed Nathan's room open but he wasn't there, neither was his luggage.

I pushed my hair back frustratedly.

He left.

He really went home.

I sunk to the floor and placed my head on my knees and cried.
