"If I could fall into the sky. Do you think time would pass me by?

'Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles, if I could just see you tonight."

Chapter Theme Song: 'A Thousand Miles' by Vanessa Carlton.

Chelsy

The rain beat against the window of Nathan's room, and I stood in the corner, my arms wrapped around me, refusing to get more water droplets on his floor than I already had.

"Forget about that jerk, Chels, he doesn't deserve you," Nathan said as he dug into his drawer to get me one of his shirts. "You deserve a great guy, you're amazing and perfect and-"

"But not perfect enough for you?"

He froze for a moment then brought his gaze to me, a sad look in his eyes.

There was a brief silence, only the sound of the pouring rain against the windowpane.

He turned his face away and continued digging. "It's not like that."

Once again, his words weren't satisfying me.

I needed to hear more.

I needed closure.

I looked down. "Should I give up on liking you, Nathan?"

He sighed and stood up straight, looking down and rubbing his forehead. "I don't know. It won't work anyway P. It's best to let it go."

Ouch.

He returned his attention back to his drawer and I pushed my hair back from my eyes exhaustedly.

Who ever said love was easy?

"Just like that? Do I give up just like that?"

He turned to face me. "It's not that you aren't my type, P. We just can't. And I am sorry. I shouldn't have let things gotten so deep. The things we did in this room, should not have happened."

"So do you regret it, Nate?"

He looked at me for a while and I patiently waited for a response.

He made his way over to me. "I don't, okay? You have no idea how hard this is for me."

I looked up into his eyes, staring at him for a while before asking. "Do you like me?"

He swallowed, and for the second time, hesitated. "I-I can't answer that."

I nodded, finally getting the message. "Okay. I am sorry for pressuring you about this this whole time, I should go-"

I spun around to head to the door when he gripped my hand. "Chels."

I looked back at him. "Let me go Nathan, you don't have to pity me."

"It's not pity."

"Then what is it? You can't answer if you like me or not because obviously you don't."

"Chelsy listen. It's not that I don't want you."

"Nathan you are clearly confused, you don't know what you want or who you want-"

"P, I know what I want. I just can't get it, okay? I can't have what I want."

I narrowed my eyes at him. "What do you want?"

He stared at me for a while then looked away, running a hand over his face.

"Nathan, what do you want?" I repeated, tilting my head to analyse his facial expression, hoping it would give me a hint. "Please tell me."

"I want you, Chels, and I can't have you."

I looked at him with wide eyes.

Did he just say what I heard him say?

"I am so used to getting everything I want and this time, I can't have this one thing and it's driving me crazy."

I stepped closer to him. "Why can't you have me? I want you too so what's the problem Nathan?"

"I can't mess up my friendship because we are two troubled teens who can't control our hormones."

"Is Max the problem?"

"Yes. He is, I can't do this to him."

"Nathan...if Max can't understand that we like each other-"

"Chels, he trusts me, okay? I cannot do this to him. I want you but I can't-"

I tipped on my toes and planted my lips on his, silencing his speech.

The kiss caught him off guard, not giving him enough time to close his eyes.

It lasted for a short second before I moved away in no time, stepping back and inwardly gasping at what I had just done.

Where on earth did that bravery come from?

He gawked at me for a while, his eyes sparkling with amazement and something else...lust?

I blinked at him and he just stood looking at me in awe, his perfect lips that were still damped from the rain forming a perfect "o" as if he was shocked out of his wits.

"Uhmm..." I looked away. "I am sorry."

Suddenly he gripped my shoulders and pushed me against his door, pressing his forehead against mine. "You're driving me crazy, Chels."

I stared up at him, our breathing suddenly rapid. I parted my lips to attempt to speak when he bent down and planted his lips on mine, fiercely and hungrily, stopping me from uttering the words I would.

It wasn't one of those slow kisses, it was one of those build-up ones, filled with tension and hunger. He groped my waist as our mouths and tongues moved in sync. I wrapped my arms around his neck but he gripped them, pinning them above my head as he moved his lips along my neck. The veins in his hands stood up as he tightened his hold on my hands above my head. A moan escaped my lips before he released my hand, gripping my waists and lifting my legs around his waist.

His lips found mine again as he placed me to sit on his dresser, hitting over the contents in the process, and they fell on the ground in a hard crash.

"Nathan, your stuff-"

"Shh, P," he whispered as he began kissing the area between my neck and cheek, sending an arousal through my entire being. I sucked in a breath as my hands gripped the tip of his dresser.

His lips found mine again while his hand moved under my shirt, squeezing and groping my bare skin and sending a reaction between my legs.

The feelings came back, the need, the longing.

Soon, he lifted me off his table and lay me flat against his bed, hovering over me instantly as soon as my back landed against his sheet.

I barely got time to breathe when his lips were on mine again, kissing me hungrily.

He lifted my shirt up, moving his lips to my stomach and my toes curl at the feel of his mouth on my skin.

"Nathan,"'I moaned his name.

"Yes, Princess?" He reached a hand up and pulled my bra down roughly before bringing his lips up to put a breast in his mouth.

If I wasn't that high on adrenaline, I would have felt a bit self conscious about him seeing that much but I was drunk on hormones.

While his mouth was on the small bud on my chest, his hands found their way to my jeans, fumbling with my buttons.

He unzipped it before using that same hand to move up and grab my other breast between his fingers, all the while his mouth not leaving the other.

He pressed himself against me and I felt the hard bulge of his manhood in his pants.

It was as if it brought me back to reality or rather yet, 'poked' me back to reality.

We were about to have sex, was I ready?

He gripped my wrist and pinned it above my head as he trailed kisses on my chest. He pulled my skin between his teeth and I let out a soft moan.

He then pressed himself harder on my thighs, the bulge inside his pants poking me on the leg felt bigger now.

A lot bigger.

Gigantically bigger.

Holy mother of-

"Na-Nathan," I called his name quickly and his mouth left the area above my breasts to look me in the eyes. "You okay?"

"I-I don't think I am ready, T-to have sex, you know?"

His lips curved up into a smirk, his dimples popping out at each side of his cheeks as his hand began finding its way in my jeans. "I know P, who said we are having sex?"

We weren't? Then what on earth would you call-

"Ahh!" I moaned with a loud gasp when a finger found its way to that soaked place between my legs.

He smiled at my reaction before bending over and silencing me with a kiss. He entered with a finger, not too far but I still felt a small sting, albeit the pleasure overpowered any form of discomfort.

"Oh my God," I breathed, squeezing the sheets of his bed.

"Was this how bad you wanted me?" He whispered, moving onto my neck and showering kisses on my neckline.

I felt myself rising to a quick peak and I squeezed my eyes shut, my body moving on its own as my legs squeezed together tightly, trapping his finger in.

He gripped my leg, pulling it apart and pinning it down so I didn't move. "Keep your legs open for me, Chels."

I moaned as my back arched, my eyes snapped close and he bent over and pressed his forehead on mine.

"Open your eyes Chels, I want to see the look in them when you cum."

I obliged, my eyes staring into his deep blue ones as he added another finger inside, speeding up his strokes and that was where I released, my body shaking beyond my control as I trembled through an orgasm.

I tried keeping my eyes open as he had asked while my climax did its final waves.

It was definitely better than the first time, leaving me breathless and fighting to catch my breath.

I began coming to a low and back to myself, breathing heavily.

Nathan smiled and kissed my lips before sitting up and leaning back onto his palms, his eyes steady on me as I found myself. "You okay?"

Hell yeah.

I nodded and attempted to sit upright, pushing my damp hair back from my face. "Yeah...I think..."

He laughed slightly. "That's punishment."

I brought my gaze to him, catching my breath as I spoke. "For what?"

"For thinking that I didn't like you." His face was suddenly serious. "I like you, a lot and I want to be with you."

I smiled.

Those were the words I had longed to hear from Nathan.

Could time stop here?

"But for now, we should keep this from Max," he continued. "He can't know. Just until I find a way to tell him, alright?"

I smiled and nodded.

As long as I could be with him, I was fine with whatever.

"Nate?! Nathan!" His mom's voice flowed through the creases of his door and we exchanged glances.

Oh shit, did she hear us?

"What do we do?" I whispered, getting quite panicked.

If she ever caught us, we would be dead.

"It's okay, stay here," he whispered back, looking quite calm and collected as he got off the bed and pulled his door open slightly, he slouched in her way so she had no view of behind him. "Mom, you're home."

She attempted to shoot a quick glance behind but Nathan's head wouldn't give her the luxury of even a peek. "Yeah I am, I heard some noises so I came up to see if you're fine."

He nodded and gestured a thumb behind him. "Yeah, was just watching a movie on Netflix."

She nodded slowly. "Okay sweetheart, well I brought ice cream so come on down, maybe we can finish that movie you're watching."

"Uh yeah, sure, I'll be down soon, give me a minute, alright?"

She smiled. "Sure, dear."

He closed the door as she made her way down the stairs then he turned to me, who was looking at him with that anxious look still on my face.

"She heard you moaning," he said with a smirk.

I gasped. "No way in hell."

"I told her it was Netflix, don't worry."

I held my forehead.

Talk about humiliating.

"I should go by the way, my mom had said I should be back in by 9," I told him.

He nodded. "Okay, I'll text you."

I smiled as I hopped off the bed. "Sure. Are we like...dating now?"

My cheeks heated at the question.

He chuckled as he moved over to me, putting his arms around me and pulling me close. "That wasn't practice just now, so that's your response."

I grinned. "Okay, I like the sound of that."

His hands found their way below my back and gripped my butt cheeks in his hands, giving them a light squeeze.

A gasp escaped my lips and he smiled. "Go, before I punish you again."

I laughed. "If that was punishment then I will be naughty for the rest of my life."

He laughed as I moved away and made my over to his window, pulling it up.

The rain had stopped falling by now and I bent my head over to see if the ladder he always had by his window was still in place.

It was.

When we were kids Max and I would use this ladder to secretly go by Nathan's room to play whenever our parents told us we were grounded.

"Great. I will take this route," I said turning to face him.

"Or you know you could just take the normal way out, like a normal person?"

I folded my arms. "So your Mom sees me? Wow, brilliant idea."

He smiled. "You can just tell her I was watching Netflix with you."

"With all those moan noises that she heard? No way in hell."

Nathan bit his lower lip with a smile.

"Goodnight," I said turning away and climbing over the window.

"Damn, I like a girl who can climb ladders," he teased, as my feet landed on the first step. "Makes me wonder what else she can climb."

I rolled my eyes at his perversion, although the sentence did make my cheeks flush. "Whatever, Nate."

I made my way down and he watched me carefully until my feet landed on the grass of his backyard.

I waved a hand at him with a grin. "I made it safe."

He smiled. "So I have seen, I'll text you, okay?"

I gave him a smile back. "I'll be waiting, Sharles."

He chuckled and I turned away and ran over to my side of the block with a huge smile plastered all over my face.

Honestly, this was probably the happiest I had ever been in my whole lifetime.

What was going to happen from here?
