Chelsy

"Chelsy, open the door!" Nathan beat against the wooden door of my Villa room. I sat on the ground with tears rolling down my cheeks as I cried in my palms, shaking uncontrollably.

"Chesly, please talk to me!"

I didn't wish to.

What I just saw, I wasn't sure I could forgive Nathan for it. Even if she came on to him, why the hell was he alone with her, in the dark corner, behind the bushes?

He said there was nothing to be insecure about but yet there they were, kissing.

The image of them were plastered in my mind and could not get out of it. How will I be able to forgive them or get over that?

"Chesly!" He knocked the door again. "Let's talk, alright?! I can explain!"

'I can explain,' I hated that line so much. It is oftentimes said by people who gets caught redhanded.

I got up angrily with tear-stained cheeks and pulled the door open. Nathan stepped back, a little surprised that I actually opened it before his gaze softened. "Chelsy."

I pushed at his chest. "You're an ass Nathan! Just stay the hell away from me! I don't want to see you or hear you, just leave me alone!"

I attempted to slam the door when he stopped it with his palm, "Chelsy, please. Let me talk."

"No, let the door go," I demanded, gripping onto the knob and trying to slam it shut but he stepped a foot in.

"Let the door go, Nathan."

"I need to talk to you." He stepped in and I stepped back.

"I don't want to hear anything."

He sighed, closing the door behind him as he made his way in. "Look, I'm sorry, alright? What you saw was a misunderstanding, she came onto me, Chels."

"Why were you two alone to begin with? I see suspicious things between you two pretty often, Nathan."

He raked a hand through his black hair then placed his hands on his waist, a sigh leaving his lips. "Chelsy, Shelly is the one that keeps coming onto me, please believe me. She just came in and kissed me. I- I was caught off guard."

I nodded, a bitter expression on my face. "Yeah, that's what all cheaters tend to say."

Sorrow crept his face as I began to move past him. He gripped my arm and I turned to look at him. "Chels. Please, don't leave me."

I pulled my hand away. "At least you can have Shelly now."

"Shit, Shelly is not who I want, Chelsy! Why can't you see that?"

He turned to me, gripping my shoulders. "You're who I want, I tell you that a million times, okay? Heck, I am even lying to my bestfriend for you P, why cant you just believe me?"

I swallowed, tears welling in my eyes, and I took his hands off my shoulder. His eyes became limpid as I stepped back. "Well, you don't have to lie to him anymore. We are over."

Nathan looked devastated as I turned away and walked out.

Nathan

Shit.

I couldn't be upset with Chelsy for not hearing me out. Anyone would freak out about what just happened but I wished she could have understood that Shelly was the one who kept coming onto me.

I would never hurt Chelsy. I loved her too much.

"It's okay, she will come back," a voice spoke.

I lifted my face up from between my palms and looked to see Shelly standing at the doorway, her arms folded.

Why was she still here after the damage she caused?

"She will come back. She seem to can't get anyone else with her small titties anyway."

I marched over to her angrily and pointed at her. "Don't you dare talk about her like that!"

The last person that mentioned Chelsy having small titties got punched in the face by me but Shelly was a girl and I don't hit women.

She glared up at me, her eyes red as if she had been crying, and not even the sight of her swollen eyelids made me pity her.

She just ruined my fucking relationship for christ's sake.

"What does she have that I don't?" She asked, her voice cracked.

She was about to cry again.

"Morals and dignity," I said flatly.

Her eyes narrowed, and I could see a deep hurt flashed across her face.

That was harsh but not as harsh as what she just did.

"Everything alright?" Max appeared behind her, and she quickly wiped her eyes.

I took a deep breath and controlled my anger. "Yeah."

"What's up with Chelsy?" he continued, "I was trying to talk to her but she just stormed past me; she seemed upset."

Shelly looked at me and I shot her a warning glare.

She flashed her hair from her face and looked at Max. "I think I know why she's upset."

If she ever dared.

I watched her and Max waited to hear what she knew.

Shelly wetted her lips. "She...she's mad because I was just teasing her as usual about how small her titties were in her bathing suit."

My body relaxed.

Max slightly chuckled. "You girls can never get along, can you? And please don't tease her about that, she hates it."

I glanced at Shelly and she just rolled her eyes subtly and walked away.

Max raised his eyebrows as soon as she vanished. "Moving in I see," he said with a cheeky grin.

I looked at him. "What?"

"You're here alone with Shelly, you hit it yet?"

I shook my head. "No, I am not interested in Shelly that way."

"Really? Damn, I'd gladly fuck her any day."

He could for all I care. The only person on my mind right now was Chelsy. How could I make the girl I love forgive me for this misunderstanding?

Chelsy

"Oh my God, what?!" Vicky looked astonished when I had told her about everything that happened and that Nathan and I had broken up.

All day Nathan and I hadn't spoken to each other. Okay, that wasn't entirely true, he tried talking to me and I blew him off countless of times.

He got tired eventually and we ended up completely avoiding each other and just straight up ignoring each other's presence. It was the worst feeling.

Night had fallen and everyone was probably asleep so Vicky and I was sitting at the beach on the benches chatting the night away.

What was supposed to be a great vacation for me, became a nightmare.

"Yeah. I guess it's for the best. No more hiding from my brother," I said bitterly as I reached for the bottle of beer beside me and took a large gulp.

Yeah, I wasn't supposed to be drinking but I somehow stole this bottle from Max's igloo before he went to bed. Because I knew I would need it.

"You're going to get yourself drunk," Vicky stated. "But heck, who cares? I should drink some too, considering Max will never date me or even consider me in this lifetime."

"Let's drink away our sorrows," I mumbled, passing the beer bottle to her.

She brought the bottle to her head and took a large swig as if the beer was actually a bottle of water. Vicky was not a drinker and it was probably her first time drinking.

I made a face. "No, that's too much Vee, don't drink it like that, It'll taste—"

She removed the beer bottle and scrunched her face up, holding her throat. "Yuck. This taste like poison."

We laughed.

"You're a worst drinker than I am!" I said between laughter and Vicky chuckled, throwing her head back. Even though I was laughing, my heart was somehow still aching and suddenly my 'laughter' became full blown sobbing. Tears rolled down my cheeks and I was crying with my head held down.

Vicky realized, and brought sympathetic eyes to me. "We aren't laughing anymore, are we?"

I shook my head, crying softly. "No..."

She rest a hand on my shoulder. "Why?"

"I miss him," I said between sobs, my palms over my eyes as my hair acted as a curtain from the crying mess I was at the moment.

She sighed, pushing her brown curly hair back from her forehead. "Call him."

"I can't," I licked my lips as I held my forehead, my face wet from all the tears. "I broke up with him so he's probably with Shelly now..."

"He's not, okay? Why would he be with Shelly? You're who he wants, Chelsy. Have you seen the way he looks at Shelly? He doesn't want her."

I shook my head. "No I won't call him. I broke it off so I deserve to cry like this. Maybe I need sleep, I am going to my villa room."

Vicky nodded. "Okay, maybe you will feel better after some rest."

No. I wouldn't.

I wouldn't feel better unless Nathan was mine again.

"Yeah maybe," I hopped up, almost tumbling over since I was partially tipsy, and held a hand out to Vicky to help her up. I pulled her to her feet and we walked staggeredly to the Villa rooms.

"My room's this way," Vicky stated, turning the corner, and I nodded.

"See you tomorrow."

Rubbing my eyes, that somehow began to feel sleepy, I walked up to what I thought was my room door and pulled my key from my pockets.

I tried turning the key to open the door but it was of no avail.

"What the hell..." I mumbled, still trying my luck.

Suddenly, the door pulled open and I looked up to see a familiar face.

Nathan.

His eyes narrowed, surprised to see me standing there. "Chels?"

I squinted my eyes. Was the alcohol making me hallucinate?

I brought my eyes up to the top of the door.

Room 802.

Shit. This was Nathan's room!

Apparently my subconscious missed him so bad that it led me to the wrong room.

My room was 801.

I held my forehead, stepping back. "I am sorry. Wrong room—"

I almost fell, and he gripped my arm. "Wow, be careful, you alright?"

I looked up into his deep blue eyes filled with concern as he held my arm, peering down at me.

My heart ached.

I missed him so much and it had only been a few hours since we broke up but him not speaking to me all day made me feel so hurt even though I knew I was the one who broke it off.

He sighed. "Did you drink?"

I took his hand off and stepped back. "A little, don't worry about me."

I turned away to walk off but felt dizzy, so I ceased my steps, holding my forehead.

He approached me from behind. "No you're not alright. Come inside until you feel better."

"No I'm fine—"

"Chelsy."

I sighed. "Okay..."

He gripped my shoulders and led me into his room, closing the door behind us.
