heyyy me dudes! so third chapter! how much do you hate it? oh well. i really don't have anything to say... anyways let's get on with da book !

chapter three: "it is not like i stole the last piece of chocolate"

"Okay everyone we have reached our destination. Los angeles, California. Now in the nicest way possible... GET OUT!" the so nicely plane monitor thing said. Back to the city of L.A. gross.

I get out of the plane and start heading to the picky uppy bag thing. Awesome Anna Nicole. When i do not know what something called i start to describe it in the best way possible... yeah.

I finally see my bags and pick them up. I have 2 big giant bags and a carry on.

I walk outside and the light blinds me. Oh yeah! L.A is 3 hours back!!

This will take me awhile to get used to... back in Florida it took me 3 weeks. Ugh.

Where the hell is my mother and father?

I take out my phone and send a quick text to my mother asking where she is.

My phone dings and i take it out and read the text.

Mom- Sorry honey i had an emergency with Gus!! Can you get a cab or something?

Wait. Augustus is now Gus?

Me- Okay, did we move at all?

Mom- nope same old, same old.

Great. I am gonna relive the memories in that house. Get it out of your mind Anna Nicole!

I get an uber and get in and give the guy my address.

"You got this Anna" i say to myself as i walk up to the front door. I get to the door and stop. Should i knock? Or walk in?

I stand there for a few minutes then i knock and walk in

I open the door and i flashed with memories. Some good. Some bad.

It looks the exact same as when i left. Oh yeah mom doesn't like change...

"Hello?" i hear and i turn around and i'm met with a boy. "Uhm hi?" i say uncertain. What? I don't know who this little intruder is.

"Who are you" he replied with a high voice.

"Anna..." the little boys face lit up and he ran to me and hugged me. What?

"Anna Nicole i missed you!" the little boy screamed. Who is he??

"Augustus Gray! Would you get off your sister!?" a lady voice shouted. Wait Augustus?

The little boy-Augustus pulled away and smiled at me. I smiled back. I look up and see my mother.

"Hey mom" i say and wave awkwardly. What? It is weird i have not seen her in four years? I still do not know why she wanted me back.

"Oh Anna Nicole give me a hug. I've missed you so much." she holds out her arms and i hug her awkwardly and pat her back. I pull away and my mother looks at me up and down while i stand uncomfortably.

"Anna Nicole you're so gorgeous! I knew you'd.. file out when you got older!!" she gushes.

"Thanks mom" i say a little hurt. The way she paused to think of something to say hurt. No daughter wants their mother to say that any of that.

"Uhm do i still have the same room?" i ask her. She nods and i walk up the stairs with my bags once i walk in i am not that shocked.

The room looks the same. I sigh and start unpacking.

I finally finished after 2 and a half hours. And it is 8pm now. I am so tired. In Florida it would be 11.

"Anna Nicole dinner's ready!!" my mother shouts from downstairs.

I rush down the stairs and i go to the kitchen and there is meatloaf and mashed potatoes. That smells good.

"I made your plate, it's at the table" i look at my mom then at the table and start walking to the table.

"Thanks mother dearest" i say and sit down, i am about to take a bite when my mother stops me. "Anna Nicole Gray! You know we have to pray first" my mother scolds me. God I have not done this since i left...

"Sorry" i mutter and my mother glares. I look over to Gus and he rolls his eyes and i chuckle. He looks up and smiles. "Shush children" my mother hisses. Gus and i mutter a sorry.

"Dear lord, thank you for this food. And for our living today we thank you for our life today." my mother stops and looks at me. I raise an eyebrow and she gives me a look to start talking. "yes, thank you for my food." i look over at an very irritated mother. "Can we eat now?" i ask impatiently. She rolls her eyes and nod. Gus cheers and starts digging in

I start eating then i realize something. "Hey where's dad?" i ask out of the blue.

"Late work night" my mother sighs and i nod and continue eating.

"So Anna Nicole you will be starting school tomorrow" my mother informs me.

"Oh goody" i reply sarcasm dripping from my words. She glares at me and i continue eating my last blob of mashed potatoes. I get up with my plate and notice Gus is done so i take his plate and start cleaning it.

"Anna Nicole what are you doing?" my mother hisses. I look down and the dishes in my hand and grab the soap.

"Doing the dishes?" i say in a 'duh' tone and she rolls her eyes. "Gus is fully capable of doing that himself" my mother hisses. I look at her like she has grown two heads

"It is fine, it's a plate, and a fork, and i was doing mine so why not his?" i ask eyeing her like a crazy person. What's so bad about that?

"Well he can do it himself" she tells me. Glaring slightly. God it's not like i took the last piece of chocolate and she wanted it.

"Well okay then if it is that big of a deal" i set down his plate and put mine in the dishwasher. I look over at Gus and see him rolling his eyes. He sighs and gets up and looks at me apologetically. Is he apologizing for mom? Guess it happens a lot.

I send him a small smile and start heading to my bedroom. That is until my mother stops me.

"Have a good night sweety! Hope you have sweet dreams. Oh and your school starts at 9:25am" she tells me and leaves. I stand there for a few moments and walk up the stairs feeling weirded out. What is up with her?

I sigh and hop on my bed and pull out my phone to call Emilee. She picks up on the 4th ring

"Why the fuck are you calling me at 11:30pm?!" she shouts. Oh shit i forgot about the time difference.

"Sorry i forgot it is 8:30 over here" i told her and she chuckles lightly.

"It's fine i guess. So what's up? How's Cali?"she asks me

"I am fine. I start school tomorrow. Oh and my mother is acting really strange..." i trailed off. I really do not know what is up with her. Did she always act like that and i did not notice? I really do not know

"How so?" Emilee asks as she yawns. I feel bad for waking her up. oh well.

"Well during dinner she got all mad because i did not pray right... and i was getting up to clean my plate and i grabbed Gus's and she went all out on me saying that he can do it himself, and after that she went perfectly fine and even said 'sweet dreams' i don't know it is just weird to me" i told her and i hear her sigh

"I don't know, Anna Nicole. maybe she just isn't used to you being back and disrupting all of her rules, but still trying to be nice? I don't know. Oh wait who is gus?" she asks very confused i can tell. i laugh

"My little brother Augustus. He goes by Gus..."

"Ohhhhhhhhh" she says realizing

"So you're starting school tomorrow??" she asks and i groan

"Ugh yes do not remind me!" i shout and she giggles.

"Whatever. You're gonna be the hot new girl!!!" she shouts making me chuckle.

"Yeah sure, Em" i tell her sarcastically.

"So, tomorrow you'll facetime me so i can help you with your outfit" she says in a serious tone

"Awww thanks bestie. But you will be in school when i call you" i tell her. I am happy she wants to help!!

"Phhf i don't care what those bitches say" she says and i chuckle. I love my best friend, but i would do the same.

"I'm gonna get the group together and help you look hot!!" Emilee exclaims. I giggle.

"Emilee shush! You are gonna make my mom come in and start asking questions. Oh and i am supposed to be sleeping" she says an 'ohhhhhh' again and i laugh

"Sorry..." she apologizes "it is fine. Hey i gotta go. Talk to you tomorrow at like 10 or 11 for you?" i ask

"Yep. love you bye chicaaaaa" she makes kissing sounds and i chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah byeeeeeee" i hang up the phone and make a alarm for 7:30. What? I do not know how long it will take. Better be safe than sorry. i charge my phone and lay myself on my bed and go to sleep.
