Lisa's POV

Ringgg.. Ringgg..

"Hello-"

"Good morning, sleepy heaaad.. Rise and shineee! Wakey wakey—WHAT THE HELL, MANOBAN! I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! GET A FREAKING BIG ALARM AND PUT IT ON YOUR EARS TO WAKE YOU UP EVERY MORNING! NYONGAN!" Jisoo quickly ended the call by yelling out loud. What in the world was that?!

"Ugh! My head hurts!" I groaned as soon as I sat up in bed. When I looked at the clock, it was already 6:30 in the morning.

"Friday... Friday... Frida-oh shi! I have a date later!" I exclaimed the moment I remembered that I had asked Jennie out on a date that is supposedly tomorrow, but she asked me if we should meet this Friday. I instinctively smile, knowing that we'll be spending the entire weekend together.

I happily went to the bathroom to shower and prepare for work.

"Finally. My rest." I uttered with a smile while thinking of Jennie.

--

Jennie's POV

I woke up early in the morning to make breakfast for my mom and dad when I suddenly thought of Lisa. I automatically draw a smile on my face the moment I remember that we'll spend the weekend together. I really miss my monkey!

While cooking egg rolls, I suddenly thought of something.

"What if.. I bring her breakfast to work?" I uttered to myself.

"If it's for Lisa, then you should." My mom said, startling me.

"Mom! You startled me!" I said, and she laughed.

"Good morning, sweetie. Why are you making breakfast? You can ask the maids to prepare for us." Mom asked.

"I just woke up early this morning and decided to make breakfast for us." I explained casually.

"Oh, really. But I heard you ask yourself if you should bring Lisa breakfast. Mom said.

"How do you know it's Lisa?" I questioned as I smirked and turned to face her.

"You said HER, not HIM. So I assumed it was Lisa." Mom backfired.

"It may be Chaeng or Irene." I replied.

"Oh, come on, Sweetie, who was the first person that popped into your mind when you woke up?" Mom asked which makes me shut my mouth.

"Don't you dare try to lie to me, Jennie?" Mom smirked.

"Fine, fine. It's Lisa. But I just thought of giving her breakfast just now." I admit it defeatedly.

"Then bring her breakfast to work." Mom said.

"But.. how? Should I inform her that I'm coming over or

"Surprise her." Mom interrupted. I gave her a blank expression.

"What?" Mom asked.

"I'll surprise her then."

I arrived at SK Technologies after an hour. I was about to enter the building when the guard asked me.

"Good morning, ma'am. With whom do you have an appointment?" He asked politely with a smile.

"May I know where the office of Lisa Manoban is? I'm J-"

"Ms. Jennie Kim." The guard interrupted.

"You know me?" I asked.

"Yes, Miss. My daughter is a big fan of yours, and Ms. Manoban is on the third floor of the building; turn right and you'll see the door with the sign "Developers,"" he replied, smiling. I chuckled and took one of the sandwiches from the bag.

"Thank you, Sir. Have a wonderful day." I responded with a sincere smile as I handed him a sandwich. When I heard the guard respond, Thank you, I went straight to the elevator and smiled.

I knocked on the door as soon as I saw the sign board, and it was Jisoo who opened it for me.

--

Jisoo's POV

I was walking to the elevator when I saw Irene waiting for it to open. I was so curious that I quickened my pace in order to catch her.

"Irene!" I called.

"Jisoo? Hey. Good morning." Irene replied with a smile.

"Good morning. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Oh, uhm, I just stopped by to give this to Lisa before I headed off to work," Irene explained, holding out the paper bag.

"Are you in a hurry?" I asked. "I can give that to her if you want."

"Oh no, it's fine; I can manage." Irene responded. I simply nodded as we entered the elevator.

We both stayed silent. I was curious how Irene and Lisa became so close. I mean, we only spent one night together. We both went inside the office when the elevator door opened.

"Is Lisa already here?" Irene asked.

"I hope so—oh, there she is! Lisayah!" I called Lisa, who was typing something in front of the computer.

"Good morning, Chu-- Irene? Hey, what are you doing here?" Lisa asked, surprised.

When I looked at Irene, her smile widened. She rushed over to Lisa and hugged her.

Okay.. ???

Lisa gave me a questioning look, and I simply shrugged. I went to my desk and worked on something about our project. While Irene and Lisa are having chitchat, Seulgi enters the office. I could see how surprised she was when she spotted Irene.

Our little Seulgi is still head over heels for Irene.

"Hello, Irene. Good morning. Why are you here this early?" Seulgi smiled and asked.

"She got some breakfast for us. Lisa happily replied.

"But it's for you-"

OKAAAYYY??? Is there anything I do not know?

"We'll share, and you can join us for breakfast here, Irene." Lisa says with a smile.

I got out of my chair and approached them to see what the real deal was.

"Alright, let's dig in!" I exclaimed.

While we were preparing food and putting plates on a table, someone knocked on our office door.

"I'll get it." I said. I rushed to the door and opened it just in time to see Jennie. She welcomes me with a gummy smile while carrying a paper bag.

"Hi, Chu! Good morning!" Jennie exclaimed cheerfully with a smile on her face.

"Jendeuk!" I screamed and hugged her.

"Jendeuk? Hahahaha! You miss me, huh?" Jennie said and chuckled.

"Of course! Come in, come in!" I said and widely opened the door.

"Is Lisa already here?" Jennie asked.

Yes, Olivia Rodrigo, I do get déjà vu.

"Yes, she's already here. Guys! It's Jennie!" I exclaimed loudly.

Lisa ran towards us and halted in the middle, surprised, wait, happy? wait, no. Excited..? I'm not sure! I'm sure she's delighted to meet Jennie this morning. Her smile becomes more radiant.

"Nini?! Niniii!" Lisa exclaimed and went towards Jennie. She lifts Jennie up and spins her around.

What a sweet kind of relationship they call "friendship."

I noticed they were staring into each other's eyes for a long time as if they hadn't seen each other in a long period of time, so I decided to fake a cough.

"Ehem! EHEHEHEHEHEM!!" I called out while folding my arms.

They both looked at me, and I smirked.

"Hey, put me down," Jennie whispered quietly while chuckling.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Lisa said and put Jennie down.

"I'm just.. you know.. I'm glad you're here." Lisa added while scratching her nape.

"Missed me, huh?" Jennie said and smirked.

"Alright, I think let's all proceed to the table-"

"Irene?" Jennie said.

"Hey, Jen." Irene responded with a slight smile. Jennie approached her and hugged her.

"Hey, I didn't know you'd be here." Jennie said with a genuine smile.

"I just stop by to bring Lis—I mean, to bring them a little breakfast," Irene answered.

"Oh, really? I brought them breakfast as well," Jennie replied, lifting the paper bag she was holding.

"For us?" I asked. Irene shot me a look before looking down. I felt a little uncomfortable about what I said, but, you know, being sarcastic isn't always bad, especially when we're talking about food. I'm kidding. I neared Jennie and whispered something into her ears.

"Do you have my favorite chicken?" I asked. Jennie bursts out laughing.

"Of course, Chu. Hahahaha! I won't forget about your favorites, and I also prepared kimchi fried rice for Lisa and Seul," Jennie said.

"You're the best!" I said and hugged her.

While eating our breakfast, we discussed taking a vacation this coming weekend. What's even more exciting? We'll stay for free at Kim's Hotel & Resort on Jeju Island!

Finally! We're having a vacation! Woohoo!

"Lili, try this." Jennie stated as she took some egg rolls from the plate. Lisa ate it, and her eyes widened. Okay, what with Jennie's egg rolls?

"Woah, woah. What's my name again?" Lisa asked, delighted with the egg rolls she had eaten.

"I assume you're eating too much corn." Jennie replied, laughing.

"No, I'm not. It's really good, Nini. I swear. Try it, folks. What kind of twist did you put in here?" Lisa asked as she took another one and ate it with her eyes closed and her fingers clicking.

I got intrigued, so I took one and put it in my mouth, and bang! It's ridiculously good!

"Pretty weird, but I never thought egg rolls could be this good." I exclaimed as I chewed. I grab two more and place them on my plate. I swear, it's delicious!

"Yaaaah! Save some for meeeee!" Lisa stated as she stumped her foot. Her antics make us all laugh.

"Here, Lisa. Try this." Irene said, sliding the dumpling into Lisa's mouth. When I looked at Jennie, I noticed how her eyebrows were furrowed.

"It's good," Lisa said while chewing.

"Try this, Lili. It's healthy," Jennie suggested as she scooped a spoonful of pumpkin porridge into Lisa's mouth.

"Wow! You cooked this?" Lisa asked.

"I'm sure Jennie cooked all of this." I replied, turning to look at Jennie. She looked very shy. Oh, my poor Jendeukie.

"Try this, Lisa-"

"Wait, Irene. I mstill hamve mfood imside my mouth." Lisa muttered while chewing the food. When I looked at Jennie, she was busy playing with her food, but her eyebrows really had joined into one.

"Irene likes Lisa." Seulgi whispered nonchalantly while chewing her food.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Yeah, I just noticed how she wants Lisa's attention," Seulgi replied, walking over to the water dispenser. I followed her and asked.

"Hey, man. Are you okay?"

"I am, Chu. Don't worry about me." Seulgi replied before drinking. I tapped her shoulder and whispered something.

"I think Jennie won't let Irene have Lisa. If you only saw Jennie's face earlier."

"You saw that too? I thought it was just me." Seulgi said, chuckling.

"Yeah, so come on. Don't lose hope, Seul. Jennie's got your back. Let's go." I answered and pushed Seulgi.

"Stupid." Seulgi said, and we went back to the table.

The girls are ready to leave after about an hour. I helped them pack their things, and of course, what would you expect? Retouching their makeup took a while. Girls being girls

I'm a girl too, but I just brush my teeth. That's all.

"Hey, Lis. I'll get going. Thank you." Irene said and hugged Lisa.

"No, Irene. Thank YOU. Take care driving, okay?." Lisa replied as she patted Irene on the head like a child. Seulgi and I hold back our laughter.

What the hell, Lisa! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

"Lili." Jennie called using her baby voice. Irene let out a sigh as she let go of Lisa.

"Hey.." Lisa softly approached and hugged Jennie.

Woah.

"I don't want to leave yet, but you have to work, and I have to help Mom." Jennie pouted before burying her face in Lisa's chest.

Okay, wait, what's happening?

"It's fine, Nini. We'll have a date later, right? You should go and help Mom first." Lisa said.

"DATE?!"

"MOM?!"

Uhm, yeah. That's Seulgi and, of course, me. Keke.

"What?" Lisa asked, confused.

"Why, uhm.. why you're calling Jen's mom Mom?" Irene asked cautiously.

"Because Mom told her so. Is there any problem?" Jennie said, raising her right eyebrow. Irene slowly shook her head.

"So, you two have a date later?" Seulgi asked.

"Uh, yeah? We'll just eat dinner outside, then we'll go home." Lisa replied.

"Sleepover." Jennie corrected.

"Woah, wait. You're planning something without us?" I exclaimed ridiculously.

"We'll see each other tomorrow morning. What's wrong with that?" Lisa asked.

"The acidity!" I exclaimed.

"It's audacity," Seulgi said.

"Oh? Uhm, sorry. THE AUDACITY!" I corrected them while folding my arms across my chest, and they all laughed.

"How about I cook chicken for you for breakfast tomorrow?" Jennie suggested. What the hell?

"Are you bribing me?" I asked, raising my brow.

"What if I am?" Jennie countered.

"Okay. Tomorrow morning. Jennie's place. Chicken for breakfast. Settled." I answered with my arms raised in defeat, and they all laughed.

I'm all weak for chickens. Ehe.

"Alright, alright. Enough with the drama. We'll see each other tomorrow morning, okay? Jennie and I just want to relive those moments we had before. You know.. Nini time?" Lisa said and chuckled.

"Too cheesy, man." Seulgi laughed.

"Alright, alright. I think these two ladies need to go, and we'll have to start working. I'll pick up Rosé tomorrow morning, Jennie." I chimed, and they all looked at me with knowing looks.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." They all said in unison.

"6 pm, Lili." Jennie said to Lisa and gave her a nod.

"Bye, Jennie! Bye, Irene!" Seulgi exclaimed.

"Take care driving, okay?" I said to them, and they nodded.

I was about to accompany them to the door when Jennie turned around and approached Lisa. What Jennie did really astounds me.

"See you later, Lili." Jennie said and kissed Lisa near her lips.

Hope.... all.

--

Lisa's POV

It was already 5:30 in the afternoon when I decided to go to the restroom to freshen up before picking up Jennie. I changed out of my work attire and then into my favorite sweaters, lounge pants, sneakers, bucket hat, and my favorite specs.

I checked myself in the mirror. I winked as I tilted my head left and right.

"Simple yet hot." I complimented myself. I pretended to shoot myself through the mirror and blow imaginary smoke from the tips of my fingers while holding a gun.

"What the hell?! I can't believe I witnessed that." My gaze was diverted to the door, and I spotted Jisoo with a disgusted face.

"What? It's true tho." I said and smirked.

"Yuck. Anyway, enjoy your date with your GIRLFRIEND." Jisoo said and emphasized the word girlfriend.

"It's fa-"

"Your actions say otherwise. I know you like Jennie, Lisayah, and it's fine, bro. Calm down." She said, chuckling. She went to one of the sinks and washed her face.

"Wow, you're washing your face—No, no! Please, I'm just kidding!" I immediately exclaimed the moment Jisoo was about to pour water on me.

"Don't mess with me or I'll mess with your outfit," Jisoo said, continuing to wash her face.

"Lisayah." Jisoo called.

"What?" I replied. What Jisoo asked made me more confused.

"Are you already in love with Jennie?"

--

I was already waiting in front of Kim's residence when the guard opened the gate for me.

"Thank you, Mr. Young." I said, and he bowed at me. I drove my car inside and parked near the gate. I got out of my car and decided to meet Mrs. Kim before we went out.

"Good evening, Mrs. Kim." I told her when I met her near the door.

"Lisa!" Mrs. Kim greeted me with a hug.

"How are you, ma'am?"

"Hep! I told you to just call me Mom." Mrs. Kim complained and pouted.

Oh my god, you're really the mother of Jennie Kim.

"How are you, Mom?" I asked and chuckled.

"I'm good. I'm currently baking cookies for my orders tomorrow." Mrs. Kim cheerfully responded while clapping her hands.

"Wow, that's great! But how did you manage to get orders?" I curiously asked.

"I know I'm not so young in age, but I can still keep up with younger generations, so I learned how to sell online," Mrs. Kim boasted.

"I'm proud." I replied and clapped slowly in amazement.

"Oh, yeah. Thank you!" Mrs. Kim replied and flipped her hair, which made the two of us laugh.

"Mind if I join you in what you are discussing?" I heard it from behind, and I know it was from Jennie. I turned around and saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, aside from my mom.

She's just wearing a simple black shirt from Saint Laurent, striped pants, bracelets, and her loose hair, yet she's nailing it.

"My daughter will melt and a bug will enter if you keep staring at her with your mouth slightly open." Mrs. Kim said as she gently pushed my chin up, bringing me back to reality.

"Mom, this is what you call simplicity is beauty," I replied, giving Jennie a big smile the moment she went near us.

"What are you guys talking about?" Jennie asked.

"Oh, nothing, Sweetie. Lisa is simply admiring the beauty of her date for tonight." Mrs. Kim said with a smirk.

"Mom.." Jennie called.

"What? You can ask her if you want." Mrs. Kim said, and Jennie's gaze met mine.

"Do I look okay?" Jennie asked.

"You look amazing." I said, and Jennie chuckled.

"I'm just wearing a simple shirt, come on. Don't fool around me, Lili." Jennie replied.

"Wha-I'm not! Look, Nini. You always look beautiful, whatever you are wearing." I sincerely said that makes her cheeks turn crimson red.

"Silly." Jennie said as she slightly hit my chest with her small fist and hid her face in my chest.

"If I didn't know that you two were really just friends, I would have thought that you two were in love with each other because of your actions." Mrs. Kim blatantly said that making Jennie loosen her hug.

"Mom." Jennie called for a second time.

"What? Besides, I'm fine with it.

"Alright, we get it, Mom. Now if you let us, we have to go; we still have a date to attend.. as friends." Jennie said that makes me chuckle.

"Fine. Lisa, bring my daughter back at 10 p.m., okay?" Mrs. Kim said, and I nodded.

"We're having a sleepover later, Mom." Jennie added.

"Oh, really? Should I prepare the guest room?" Mrs. Kim asked.

"No need, Mom. Lisa will stay in my room later. How will it be a sleepover if she
