What an actual fart.

I can't believe what I see right now. The love of my life is already in front of me! Lord, am I that old so you want me to get married as soon as possible?

Rosé Park is freaking in front of me!

I looked at Seulgi and saw her jaw drop.

"Chu, did Jennie poison us earlier? Are we in heaven already?" Seulgi asked.

I didn't answer her because I also didn't know what to say or how I should react. I turned my gaze to these beautiful ladies in front of us. I can feel my heart pounding hard because of what I see.

"Guys, calm down. You guys are not in heaven yet. They are all just breathtakingly beautiful." Lisa said.

"Jennie invited them to join us," she added.

"Chu, Seul, this is Rosé, and this is Irene. I guess you know them already? Chaeng, Irene, this is Jisoo Kim, and this is Seulgi Kang. Lisa's friends. And oh," Jennie introduced us and went on her way to Lisa. She grabs Lisa's arm and clings to it.

"Irene, this is Lisa Manoban. Chaeng already knows her because we met on Monday." Jennie added.

"Nice to meet you, Lisa."

"Nice to meet you, Irene. It's good to see you again, Rosie." Lisa greeted them with a smile.

"You met Rosé Park already?" I suddenly blurted out my inside thoughts.

"Ah, yeah. We met her at a convenience store when Jennie was craving ice cream." Lisa replied.

"Nice to m-meet you, Ms. Rosé Park and Ms. Irene B-baby.. I mean, Bae." Seulgi bowed in front of them and greeted them with formality while stuttering.

"I'm so sorry, we're just.. you know. Overwhelmed. Hehe. Nice to meet you." I greeted them and held out my hand for a handshake. Irene took it first and mouthed me a nice to meet you too. When Rosé took my hand, I kind of lost it. I think I'll melt at that moment because she's staring at me like she's thinking if we've already met before.

"So it's you. Nice to meet you, Jisoo Kim." She said and gave me a sweet smile.

A bit confused, I still managed to ask her.

"M-me?"

"What do you mean 'it's you,' Chaeng?" Jennie asked.

"She's the girl I bumped into in the convenience store before I met you with Lisa."

Jennie and Lisa put their hands over their mouths and looked at each other in surprise. Okay, what's happening?

"What a small world." Jennie and Lisa said in unison.

Why can't these two be together? They look cute together. Bet, they can be the cutest couple.

"It's.. you? I.. bumped? Convenience store?" As nervousness embraced me, I couldn't utter a sentence completely. I suddenly remembered that I bumped into someone that night.

So it's Rosé?!

Is this density?! I mean, destiny?!

"Yes, it's me." Rosé answered looking back at me.

I stared back at her. It feels like my whole world stopped and it's just the two of us. The moment I met her, her eyes were only focused on me. That'll also explain why those eyes are very familiar. Her face is so angelic. The way she smiles makes my heart melt.

I think I'm falling in love.

"Guys? I'm still here. Hello, I'm Kang Seulgi." Seulgi suddenly spoke, which caused me to wake up from my reverie. I blinked a few times before turning my gaze away from Rosé.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Come in, come in. Take a seat." Lisa said and arranged the pillows on the couch. Seulgi helped her.

"Sorry if you caught us in a mess. This monkey didn't inform us that you guys were coming over." I said the moment all of us took our seats.

"Are you guys hungry? I'll get you something." Jennie said and stood up.

"I'll help you." Lisa added and followed Jennie into the kitchen.

There was a long moment of silence when only the four of us were in the living room.

"Are they dating? Jennie didn't tell me that she was back to dating. Irene suddenly asked.

"She told me last time that they were friends. It looks like more than that, but I don't know. Maybe they're just that close." Rosé replied and shrugged.

The silence broke the moment Jennie and Lisa got out of the kitchen, carrying out some food for the beautiful visitors.

"Why are you guys so quiet?" Lisa asked and chuckled.

"We do not know what to say, Lis. We're still in shock." Seulgi replied, making the two chuckle.

"It didn't exactly look like that when the both of you met me." Jennie said, giving us a teasing smile.

"Don't be nervous in front of us. We're still normal humans like you, guys. We can all be friends here." Irene butted in with a comforting smile.

"Chu. Hahahaha. Speak up." Lisa spoke up and nudged my shoulder.

"Lisa, I remember you saying that you have a friend who has a big crush on me. Is she coming?" Rosé asked.

I froze on the spot based on what I heard. Is that me?! I looked at Lisa and saw her looking at me while grinning. Jennie whispered something to Lisa that made her chuckle before shifting her gaze back to Rosé.

"She's-"

"She's busy. Maybe next time. Hehe." I spoke nervously, cutting Lisa off on her words. I gave her a glare, and she just chuckled at me.

"Alriiiight! I think you guys are all drinking. Why don't we start it now?" Seulgi blurted out to make the air more comfortable.

"Let's eat first, then we'll start the session." I replied and stood up from my seat. I entered the kitchen with a loud beating of my heart.

I'm happy.

After having dinner with the gorgeous ladies, we decided to buy more drinks. During the drinking session, the awkwardness from earlier became very comfortable. We learned a lot about them, how the entertainment industry works, and how they work with famous brands. They are all working hard to achieve perfection in their work. I feel sorry for them because some fans don't know how to wait patiently. I mean, I get it. I've been there, ranting about why they can't pull out an album or a single song after being on a long hiatus. But little did we all know that they are not just K-pop idols who always work with music. They also became models and influencers the moment they became successful in the industry. Now, I understand what took them so long before pulling out a song. Being an idol who works hard to perfect a song and a performance for their fans and being a model at the same time is not as easy as we think.

Quality over Quantity.

"Let's play a game!" Seulgi's suggestion took me out of my reverie.

"What kind of game is that?" Irene asked.

Jennie's POV

Earlier.

Rosé and Irene decided to stay for the night so that we could have plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. Seulgi suggested that they buy more drinks, so the three of them decided to buy at the nearest convenience store, leaving me with my best friends. We're here on the balcony, watching how the night sky is very calm and clear. The moon is shining brightly, and the stars are twinkling beautifully. I really love stargazing.

"Unnie, how are you and Lisa?" Chaeng asked.

"At first, I thought it would be hard for me to be with her. She's really annoying and too full of herself, but I'm wrong. Lisa is a kindhearted person. I'm happy that I met her. I never imagined that we would become best friends." I replied with a smile on my face, reminiscing about how everything started, but Irene's question makes me widen my eyes.

"You like her?"

"Yes.. no-yes, yes! I mean, of course, I like her. She's benevolent, and she's my best friend." I answered with a hint of uncertainty in my words.

"Don't you like her more than a friend?" Chaeng asked.

"No, chaeng. Lisa and I are just friends." I simply replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Final answer?"

"Y-Yes."

"You said something different from what I saw in your eyes." Irene interjected.

"Oh, come on, why are you asking me questions like that? We don't have a thing, okay?" I said it with a small hint of irritation.

"Okay, whatever you say." Chaeng replied and shrugged.

I don't know why, but I felt something weird while answering them. Why the hell does it feel like I lied?

Do I like you already, Lisa?

No, oh no, this can't be.

"Hey, guys! We're home! Come on, let's get drunk!" Jisoo screamed, which made the three of us laugh.

"I think she really loves beers," Irene said while chuckling.

"She's so excited. Cutie." Chaeng added. I heard her mumbling the last word, so I took this chance to look at her with a teasing smile, and she rolled her eyes.

"You know what, let's get inside." Chaeng spoke up and gently pushed us inside the apartment.

They were already preparing the drinks when Lisa turned her gaze to me and gave me a beautiful smile. Her eyes twinkle while she smiles.

Just like the stars, you're really beautiful.

"Never Have I Ever." I heard Seulgi, which took me out of my trance.

"I think that's boring, Seul." Lisa retorted.

"No, no. It's not. Since we're all adults here, we'll do it under the drinking game. So if you've done what I haven't done, you'll drink. Game?" Seulgi asked with a devilish smile.

"Game!"

"Okay, I'll be the first one to ask." Jisoo said.

"Never have I ever gone on more than one date in one day."

Lisa was the only one who drank. I gulped as I watched the liquor travel down her neck while her friends were just laughing. I never thought that seeing her drink could be so sexy.

However, my confusion cannot stop me, so I gave her a questioning look because I was meh whipped, awash meh nae nae.. No, no, I mean, I was shocked. Is she a player? I didn't expect that.

"Way back in junior high school, every Valentine's Day, a lot of Lisa's admirers were coming over to ask her out," Jisoo explained.

"Right. So, as our Lisa is very generous, she dated eight females in one day." Seulgi added and laughed out loud.

"Yah, that's not true. Only 7 females. And it's not a date. I just accompanied them on where they wanted to go, and after that, I'll run." Lisa defended herself and laughed.

"That's rude!" I interjected.

"I know, but it's kind of fun. No harm done," she replied.

"Her famous excuse the next day: 'My mom called, I went on a date with her.' Hahahaha!" Seulgi blurted out that, which makes us all laugh.

"But it's just all for fun. Don't worry, Lisa is too loyal to her crush." Jisoo laughed.

"Alright, alright. Since you're the first one to drink, it's your turn to ask, Lis." Seulgi said.

"Okay. Uhm.. Never have I ever gifted my terror professor on Christmas day with my own poop." Lisa said that makes us all laugh out loud except for Jisoo.

"What the hell, Lisa!" Jiso exclaimed.

"What?" Lisa asked and continued to laugh.

"Fine!" Jisoo said and took the liquor.

"You really did that?!" Irene asked in surprise.

"Yeah. Why not? He's always telling me that I'm cheating during exams. Jisoo answered.

"That's true, tho." Seulgi butted in.

"I didn't get to review his subject that time!" Jisoo defended.

"That's why you gave him a poopie as a Christmas gift?" Chaeng asked what makes Jisoo's mouth shut.

"Y-yes.." Jisoo answered silently, and no one reacts when..

"That's fun!" Chaeng exclaimed, clapping her hands while laughing. I laughed at her reaction. Why do I feel like I have a friend that is also whipped? Hahahaha.

"Irene, are you okay?" Seulgi asked.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." Irene answered while thinking of something. She looks so confused. So I tried to ask her too.

"What are you thinking?"

"Nothing.. I just.. I just wonder how Jisoo.. did that? I mean, did you get it with your own hands and put it in the box? How does it feel in your hands?" Irene explained.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

We all laughed out loud because Irene was so serious while explaining her side.

"What the hell, Irene Bae! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Chaeng said while holding her tummy because of too much laughter.

"You want to try it?" I asked and laughed. Irene gave me a slap in the arm.

"Yah! I'm just curious!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Our game became more fun and exciting. I can see that we are all having fun and enjoying the night. I never thought that our little circle of friends would be on-click in just a snap. I'm so lucky to have them in my life.

However, the game is still ongoing, and it was Jisoo who asked.

"Never have I ever shaved my pubic hair into a random shape."

"What the hell was that?!" Lisa asked while laughing. I think she's drunk already.

"What? You guys haven't done that? It's fun." Jisoo said and drank.

"What the hell, Chu. You're gross." Seulgi says and throws a pillow at Jisoo's face.

"Yah! I just tried it if it will look cool."

"In what shape?" Chaeng asked.

"Banana."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The game goes on and on until some of them are already drunk. I didn't drink much because I knew that these folks wanted to get wasted after a long day of work.

"Never have I ever had or had a crush on someone in this circle."

I saw Lisa, Jisoo, and Seulgi drink. Not long after, Irene also drank her glass. We were all surprised because we didn't expect that someone would catch the attention of our Irene Bae.

"So you're crushing someone here? Tell us who!" Rosé exclaimed and clapped her hands excitedly.

"No more follow-up questions, please." Irene replied with a smirk. All of them let out a groan except me.

"You're no fun." Chaeng said with a pout, while Irene just chuckled.

We continued our game, and I secretly glanced at Irene. I caught her looking at Lisa. I shrugged it off in the first place because I thought it was just nothing. But then I noticed that when Lisa speaks, she's very attentive, and she's staring at her.

I don't know why, but I don't like it.

"My turn, my turn!" Rosé said while raising her hand.

"You're the last one. Shoot." Seulgi replied.

"Never have I ever kissed someone and kept it a secret."

I froze in my seat. I don't know if I'm going to drink or not. If I don't drink, I cheat in the game. But if I drink, a lot of questions will wave at me.

None of us took a drink for a while. I saw Lisa that she's also contemplating whether she'll drink or not. But in the end, she drank her liquor, which made Jisoo and Seulgi widen their eyes.

Wait.. don't tell me.. what I'm thinking is..

"Lisa?! You already had your first kiss?!" Jisoo and Seulgi asked in unison.

I'm her first kiss too?!

Without thinking, I also drank the liquor in my glass. I can feel the eyes of my friends looking at me in surprise.

"YOU HAVE A LOT TO EXPLAIN, JENNIE KIM!"

Chaeng's POV

The drinking session ended at 2 in the morning. I admit I had a lot of fun having these people around me; they're really fun to be with. What's making it even more fun is that Jisoo is here with us. The girl that never left my mind the moment I saw her at the convenience store.

What a small world.

Jennie and Lisa didn't take follow-up questions, so we do not have any choice but to let it pass.

"Hey.." Jisoo called, so I looked at her.

"You and Irene can stay in the guest room. I think that's Jennie's room for now. There are also unused clothes there that you can use." Jisoo added.

"Alright, thank you. But where you guys will sleep?" I asked.

"Seulgi and I will sleep here on the couch. Don't worry, we're already used to this. I'll ask Jennie if she can stay in Lisa's room tonight. Lisa is already drunk; look." Jisoo said as I turned my gaze to Lisa, whose head was lying on Jennie's lap. Jennie is playing with her hair while having a conversation with Irene.

"Don't you think they have a thing?" I asked Jisoo.

"I don't know. They always say they're just friends, but their actions scream something more." Jisoo replied and shrugged her shoulders.

"Let's clean this up, guys. Irene, you, and Rosé will sleep in Jennie's room. Jennie, can you stay with Lisa in her room for tonight?" Seulgi said.

"Why will Jennie stay in Lisa's room?" Irene asked with furrowed brows.

"Because the bed in the guest room, which is Jennie's, can only swallow two people," Seulgi replied.

"You can sleep beside Lisa, guys. I'll just sleep here on the couch." Jennie suggested.

"No, Jen. You'll stay with Lisa. I don't want her scolding me in the morning because we let you sleep here on the couch." Jisoo stated that makes Jennie only nod her head.

After cleaning up all the mess, Irene went to Jennie's room to take a shower. Jisoo and Seulgi placed the futons on the floor of the living room. I thought they would sleep on the couch?

"Hey, Rosé. You should sleep; it's already late." Seulgi said.

"Don't worry, we'll drive you guys home tomorrow." Jisoo added.

"Thank you, Seulgi and Jisoo." I said and gave them a smile.

I went to Lisa's room. I was about to knock when I noticed that the door was slightly open. I peeked out the door and saw that Jennie was trying to wake Lisa up to change her clothes.

"Lisa, please wake up. You need to change your clothes."

"Hey, wake up! Aish! I'll change your clothes, okay? Don't move." Jennie said and starts to lift the hem of Lisa's shirt. I heard Lisa groan and put her shirt down.

"Lisa, I'll change your clothes; don't be so stubborn," Jennie said.

"Don't.. Don't do this, please.. Jennie will get mad at me.." Lisa said with a drunken voice, and her eyes were closed.

"What are you talking about? I'm Jennie."

"You're Jennie?" Lisa asked still eyes are closed.

"I am. So get up-"

"Hi, Jennie!" Lisa said the moment she got up and cupped Jennie's cheeks. She planted a kiss on Jennie's lips and then went back to sleep.
