It's been almost a week now since Dylan told me about the plan and I have a feeling that it's not gonna work out.

I don't mean to be negative or anything but have you ever had a bad feeling about something, then it actually happens?

I put that thought away and started chanting a few "positive energy " "it will work out well" "nothing will go wrong"

" April? " I hear snow calling me.

" I have a bad feeling about today! " she continues and my worry comes back.

" why? " I ask.

" I don't know I just do but it's probably nothing. " she says and cuts me off.

She leaves my mind and blocks me.

Before I can make out what that was all about, I hear footsteps and I smell the familiar scent of Dylan.

"Dylan! Hey! " I say excitedly.

" did you just call me by my name you worthless omega? You will address me as sir! " he says seriously and stands guard at my cell door.

What happened to him?

" Are you okay? " I ask.

" none of you damn business! " he says and for some reason I can't help but feel hurt.

Why the hell was I hurt in the first place?

I should have expected this but for some reason I feel betrayed.

Before I can ask him anymore questions I smell the scent of the Alpha and his son walking towards my cell.

" hello April!" the alpha says as though we were the best of friends.

I look at him in disgust and remain silent.

" Dylan, has she been treated well? " Jake asks a bit worried after looking at me.

Ha! How can one be treated well in a dungeon? But I guess I've been treated Okay. I mean they haven't tortured me yet! They actually feed me well. So, I guess it's Okay.

Why did he look worried? I have no idea! He could be faking though! He has some serious acting skills, I'll give him that!

" yes Alpha! " Dylan says respectfully.

"Okay then! Get her ready for the ceremony! " Jake says and then leaves while his father follows slowly behind him.

First of all, why did it seem as though Jake was giving the orders now?

Second of all, what ceremony?

As if reading my mind, Dylan answers "you are to be made an omega today. "

" oh! So, now you decide to talk nicely huh? " I say, my anger slowly rising.

" look April, I'm sorry for being a pain earlier. It was all an act so, that the alpha and his son don't notice we are on friendly terms because they might get suspicious. " he says sincerely.

Should I believe him?

" wear these! And first let me get you some water to freshen up cause Goddess you stick worse than a sewage! " he says and I can't help but look and smell myself.

Goddess, I did stink! But really worse than a sewage?

" hey! It's not that bad! " I protest.

" whatever helps you sleep at night! " he replies.

Dylan leaves and after a while he comes back with a bucket of water, soap and a hair brush..

After I'm done I put on the clothes that he threw me.

I now wore a black and white checked shirt, black jeans and white ankle boots. I then did my hair in a ponytail. Lastly, I applied some Vaseline strawberry lip balm on my lips and I was ready to go.

I am to be made an omega anyway! I might as well go down with a bang!

" Dylan! I'm ready! " I say.

He comes instantly and opens the cell door for me.

" my! Oh my! Don't you look delicious! If I was into girls I would totally do you! " he says laughing. Then as if realising what he just said he stops and looks at me seriously.

Did he just tell me he is gay?

" are you gay? " I ask bluntly.

" ssshhh wanna tell the whole pack? Yeah I am! " he says blushing.

" that's awesome! I always wanted a gay best friend! " I say genuinely.

" did you just call me your best friend? " he asks shocked.

" um....well....um... Don't we have a ceremony to get to? " I ask ignoring his question.

he notices what I did but he let's it slide.

He escorts me out and I'm met with the beautiful sight of the full moon. If I had more time I would have stayed standing for hours just to admire its beauty.

I am met by a crowd of people and they all give way to let me pass. I hear them murmuring a few " sorry" " did you hear she is to be made an omega tonight? " and " what did she do to deserve all this? "

I ignore them because how on earth is their pity going to help anyway?

"Quiet! " the alpha commands and the murmuring stops.

" we are gathered here today for two things, I will not say them because they are both surprises. " he pauses " Jake Currington, my son step forward. " my mate steps forward and he looks at me regret.

Regret? Why the hell would he be feeling regretful? And anyway it's a little too late for that!

" from today henceforth I appoint Jake Currington as the alpha of dark moon pack. May the moon goddess guide you and help you make the right decisions. By the powers given to me by the moon, I now give you your new alpha, Jake Currington!" the crowd erupts in cheers.

Jake then howls to the moon and says " thank you father! I promise to help each and every one of you! May the moon goddess help me. "

" my first job as alpha will be to deal with insolent pack members and without further delay I want April Robinson to step forward. "

I step forward with a smile on my face not caring what's going to happen next.

"how dare you smile? " he asks. His voice dripping with power and I know that he is close to shifting.

" what did you expect? For me to beg you for mercy? Ha! Well too bad for you because I won't ever beg you for anything again! " I say and spit at his feet.

He looks angry and proceeds to say :

" April Robinson for disrespecting your alpha ,from now hence forth you are an omega. " he finishes off with a wicked smile.
