How could that be? If it's true then that would mean that they have been lying to me for eighteen years!

"Mom please tell me it's not true! " I plead

" I would be lying if I did that April." She says.

I scream at the top of my lungs but the pain only increases.  I feel abandoned, betrayed and broken.

What did I do to deserve all this?

First, I'm rejected.
Second,I am to be made an omega.
Third,I am losing my parents, sorry my adoptive parents.
And now I find out that my parents abondoned me!

Could this get any worse?

" April, we love you and you will always be our daughter! Just because you don't have our blood running in your veins doesn't change the fact that you are out baby! " my dad says while pulling me into a hug.

" tell me about my parents dad." I say.

" I really dont know much.  All I know is that they are called Matthew and Eve Sinclair. " he says sadly.

I don't have the energy to reply and I'm quickly swept in the tides of sleep......

Sometime later:

"April,Wake up! " I hear someone say.

" April, its time please wake up!" The voice urges.

Time ? Time for what? I'm instantly hit with a blast of reality!

"MOM? DAD?" I wake up screaming.

I'm scared that they might have already been....been.... I can't even bring myself to think the words.

How can my mate do this to me? This is all his fault.

Now I'm losing the most important people in my life even though they are not my real parents!

" mom, please don't leave me! I'm already all alone, you and dad are all I have! Please don't leave me! " I say crying.

Before my parents can answer,  the guards drag them away.

"Mom! Dad!" I run to them and hold on to them for dear life.

" I'm very sorry!  This is all my fault! I'm very sorry! " I chant the same words over and over again like a prayer! I hope that they know I mean them with all my heart.

" it's okay April , we chose this path for ourselves! You are not to blame for anything! We love you deeply! Always remember that! " they say.

I'm being pulled back into the cell by a guard I didn't even notice was there.

" I'm very sorry for all this, you don't deserve it! ' the guard says.

I'm too overcome by grief and sorrow to reply.

I cry and cry and cry till it feels as though I've run out of tears.

" April, it's time! " the guard says.

Damn! How many times have I heard that single phrase? And trust me, it never gets easier!

How could it possibly get any better when the people you love are about to be killed right in front of you?

I get up from the ground and the guard leads me to the place where my parents will take their last breath.

What I see stops my heart beat for a second.

My parents are chained to a huge tree and there are bruises on their faces as though they have been tortured before being chained to the tree.

" this is what happens when you disobey me! You must all respect me as your Alpha and my son as your future alpha." The alpha says while looking at the crowd.

The alpha gives the executioner the go-ahead. He raises his sword and I scream for my parent to be let go.I scream with everything in me.

I try to break through the crowd but everything I do is in vain.

I look at my parents and my dad mouths the words " look for your parents" . While mom mouths the words " we love you!"

There were tears in their eyes and before I can blink their heads are separated from their bodies.

Blood spurts out and the scent of blood is thick in the air. I let out an earth shattering scream  and fall on my knees.

Just then, the smell of paraffin invades my senses and when I look up, I see what remains of my parents being burnt to nothing more than ashes.

I am about to tell the guard to take me back to my cell but I stop when I see a figure admist the flames. It looks like a woman. She is dressed in white and her eyes shine brighter than the moon. She looks at me with sorrow and that's when she says.

"My daughter do not worry for this shall pass. Do not give up, the fight has just began. The most important thing right now is to know who you are and where you are from. Be careful in your search for the truth. For you shall awaken demons long forgotten..."

Before I can say anything, she disappears.

Wait a second! She looked really familiar. I try hard to remember where I've seen her from and it's from my classes as a child.

Damn!  No..no.. no!!! It can't be who I think it is.

But seriously, did the moon goddess just pay me a visit?
