Aprils pov

You know in the movies where THE moment is ruined by a psychotic bitch?

Well that's exactly what happened.

The door of the cottage opens with a loud bang and I quickly look to see what caused it.

"How dare you  hold a pack meeting without your beta female?" The she-wolf asks angrily.

"Beta female? You are nothing in this pack but a whore Amelia! How dare you disrespect me and the council?" The alpha growls angrily and stands up.

Amelia? Even her name sounds bitchy!(sorry to anyone whose name is Amelia)

She just ignores the alpha and says:

" Jason, Babe who is this skunk?" She asks directing the insult to me.

"The only skunk here is you!" My mate replies immediately.

"But ba-" she is cut off by the alpha.

"Jason, you have two females here. One with which you have a past with and the other is your newly found mate and possibly your future happiness. You can't have both of them so choose who it will be!" The alpha commands.

Were they together? Or are still together?

Oh No! He's gonna choose her isn't he?

Damn! Right after I get over my fear and I accept him SHE comes along!

"There is no question. I will always and forever choose....." He trails off.

I let go of his hand because I guess this is goodbye.

"April" he finishes .

He takes my hand into his and a feeling of happiness and joy spreads through my being.

He chose me! I guess I still have hope after all.

"Very well! Amelia leave. " The alpha commands and SHE has no choice but to leave.

"As for you April, you will now be sleeping in the Betas quarters, he'll show you where they are. " She continues.

"Your ceremony of joining this pack will be in one moons time... Please make yourself at home and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask me. That is all, this meeting is now over." She concludes and leaves the cottage , the rest of us following as if in tow...
