WHEN YOU'RE HIS ONLY SAFE PLACE

You looked down at your hand nervously as your husband Jungkook silently kept his things in his office bag. You weren't yet sure if the answer would be affirmative but you decided to ask it anyway.

"Koo.." You called and he hummed. "Jeongguk." You called again. Jungkook understood that you wanted his full attention and finally looked at you.

"What happened?" He asked and you fumbled a few more words forming a question.

"Can I come to the office with you?" You ask and he thinks for a second before opening his mouth but you don't let him speak.

"I promise I won't trouble you!" You assure and he sighs. "Are you sure? Won't you get bored?" He asked and you immediately shook your head. Jungkook smiled slightly.

"As my princess wishes." He said and then walked over to the breakfast table making you smile.

One hour. It's only been one hour since you're sitting in Jungkook's cabin and you were already bored af. You're done turning the pages of the magazines that were kept on the table.

You looked up at Jungkook and he was endorsed in the work which made you sigh. "He wouldn't even spare me a glance." You mumbled and got up walking to the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" You freeze hearing his voice. Only if you had noticed that you had his full attention even when he was working. You turn on your heels and smile cheekily.

"I'm going to take a tour of your office hehe." You inform. "Go ahead but don't get lost and return back here."

Jungkook said and you hummed, making your way out. Jungkook kept looking at you as you walked through the corridor.

Once you were out of sight, he returned back to his work.

You roamed aimlessly in the office until you stumbled into a very familiar young man.

"Taehyung!" You exclaimed happily looking at him, he looked surprised but eventually smiled at you. "What a pleasant surprise! Why are you here?" He asked.

"Just because. I came with koo but I was getting bored so I came out." You shrug, answering. "Hey Y/n, then how about I show you my cabin as well?" He asked, cheerfully.

"Oh sure!" You answered and he took your hand pulling you along with himself. You both reached his cabin and he made you sit on the chair.

"Your cabin is almost the same as Jungkook." You said analysing the room. "Of Course! I'm at the highest post after Kook." Taehyung said, proudly.

After that you and Taehyung got busy chatting and the time flew by.

Jungkook started getting impatient when you didn't come back even after an hour. He needed you in front of his eyes.

"Did she lose her way?" He asked himself before closing his file and turning to his laptop. He clicked on the keys and the screen displayed the camera view of the whole office.

The first person to catch his eye was his secretary who was profusely talking on her phone while laughing but he ignored her for the moment since his main focus was you.

Soon Jungkook found you. There you were in Taehyung's cabin.

"That girl kept flirting with Jungkook and his face looked like he was about to kill her." Taehyung said and you both laughed once again. "Thankfully I was there or that girl.."

You two burst out laughing once again when the landline on Taehyung's table rang. You went silent as he picked the call.

"Hello?" Taehyung spoke. "Mr. Kim! If you're so free to gossip why not come to my office as well! Right now!" Jungkook said from the other line and cut the call. Taehyung made a face while putting the receiver back.

"Your husband.. That hitler guy." Taehyung mumbled and you both let out a chuckle before standing up. "Tae, are you scared of him?" You ask out of the blue and Taehyung stops on his tracks turning to face you.

"Scared? Me? of Jungkook? Haha... funny! I ain't scared of nobody!" He exclaimed, flipping his non-existent long hairs in a sassy way as you two made your way towards Jungkook's cabin.

There was a knock on Jungkook's door followed by his secretary. Jungkook looked up, not pleased seeing someone unwanted at the moment.

"What the hell is it?" Jungkook asked in his usual cold tone. "S..sir.. actually, there's a m.mistake in your schedule." She stuttered looking down as she held a file in her hand tightly.

Jungkook's brows furrowed.

"Mistake? What?" Jungkook asked, the scene of her talking on the phone while working replayed in his mind.

"A.. actually.. the important meeting with... the other company is t..today at 5:00 not tomorrow." She stuttered, nervously, aware of her boss's anger.

Jungkook poked his tongue in his inner cheek. The small anxiousness due to not seeing you raised up to a high level of anger.

Taehyung was about to push open the door of Jungkook's cabin when you interrupted. "You sure you're not scared of him?" You teased him.

"Not! At! All! " Taehyung confirmed but before he could turn the knob, a loud yell was heard.

"PACK YOUR THINGS AND GET OUT OF MY OFFICE AFTER YOU RESCHEDULE EVERYTHING!" Jungkook it was.

Taehyung gulped and slowly looked at you. "I see you're scared." You say, crossing your arms. He chuckled nervously. "Haha... m-maybe just a little bit ." Taehyung mumbled to you.

Seconds later a young lady came out of Jungkook's office, her face looked like she could cry already. Taehyung sighed and entered the cabin.

"Jeongguk, what's wrong?" Jungkook looked at Taehyung, furiously. "Mr. Jeon, it is. If there's one thing that I hate the most, it's people being unprofessional at work."

Jungkook fired and Taehyung understood that his friend was not in a good mood. "The meeting is today:" Jungkook said, calming down.

"Meeting? There's no meeting today." Taehyung said, confused. "There is. That stupid secretary of mine messed up the schedule. Can you complete the presentation today?" Jungkook asked.

"I have to do it since it's important." Taehyung said. "Do you need a helping hand? Should I be with you?" Jungkook asked, coldly.

"No, Mr. Jeon. I'll do it." Taehyung said and turned around leaving the cabin. You silently stood in the corner sensing the tensed atmosphere.

Jungkook sighed and looked down at his file and you took the chance to walk near him.

Standing behind him, you let your arms cross around his neck and he immediately seemed to relax under your touch.

"Tired?" You asked and Jungkook held your hand, answering. "No.. I just- the meeting is important. How can she make such a silly mistake?" Jungkook explained as he brought you in front of himself.

"It's okay. It'll go well." You assure and Jungkook nods. " I'll let you work and sit there silently. You should calm down."

You said, like the good girl you are. But as you were about to turn to walk away, you were pulled back on his Lap.

"Sit here. I'll be calm only if you're with me, princess." He said and hugged you tightly letting out a sigh. You smile and rub his back. "How will you work if I sit on your lap? I'll distract you."

You said. "You're my relaxation point, not a distraction." He said making you smile.

"I might haven't told you yet but you should know that my princess is my only safe place. My stress reliever, my love, my life, my everything." He said unaware of the impact it was having on you.

Your heart was skipping beats at the rate that you doubted its presence and your face was a shade of red.

"Princess.. I love you alot."
