"WHERE IS THE MAID?" Jungkook yelled.
You closed your eyes, scared as you held back your tears.

“ANSWER ME!!" He shouted again.

"H..holiday..." That was all you could utter. He pulled out his phone and dialled a number.

"Where are you?" He asked on call. You couldn't hear the other person. "No! No need to come. Spend your holidays looking for a new house to work at!"

He cut the call. Now you know, he just called the maid.

"I'll assign another maid. No need to step in the kitchen if you're gonna work this clumsily. I'm leaving!"

He left the room, eventually going to work. You let your tears slide down.

"He... he could have... said that normally." You sob and wipe your tears. You're used to his scolding but today he was too harsh.

The remaining day, you spent doing nothing but passing your time. It was almost time for him to come back.

You decided to cook the dinner because of course you're not gonna let him or yourself starve when you love cooking too.

You completed cooking before he arrived. Soon the main door opened and Jungkook entered. You were sitting on the couch. He looked at you for a while.

You looked at him then quickly looked away. He waited for a few seconds then went upstairs.

Actually, as for other days, you'd greet him and take his coat but today you were way too scared to do anything since you cooked the dinner even when he told you not to.

When you felt that he might be done with changing, you went to your room just to find him drying his wet hairs. No wonder he looked so hot.

"I... cooked dinner. Let's eat." You said and ran outside before he could say anything.

You both ate dinner in silence. Surprisingly, he didn't scold you.

"You cook well. Just stop being clumsy like the morning." He said while eating.

You didn't have to add the second sentence Mr. Jeon Jungkook.
You thought.

After you both were done, you picked the dishes and went to wash them but Jungkook stopped you.

"Leave it. I'll do that." He said, taking you by surprise. "I... I can do it—" You were cut off by him.

"STOP GOING AGAINST EVERYTHING I SAY!!" You flinched a little as he almost yelled and the tears brimmed in your eyes again.

You washed your hands and quickly ran to your room. You laid down on the bed, sobbing. You were still not over the morning incident and here he goes again.

You cried but soon you heard the door opening, signaling that he is back. You closed your eyes shut. He came and sat on the other side of the bed.

You tried not to cry but a single sob left your mouth which didn't go unnoticed by him.

"Y/n" He called out softly. You couldn't believe your ears but you didn't turn either. "Y/n turn around." He said once again but you didn't budge.

"Don't test my patience, princess."

You felt the seriousness in his tone and sat up facing him, but couldn't dare to look up.

"Come here!" Jungkook opened his arms and you just looked at him confused.

"I said Come here!" His cold tone scared you so you did as told. As soon as you went closer to him pulled you on his lap. You gasped, surprised.

Jungkook pulled you closer, wrapping his strong arms around you while he nuzzled his face in the crook of your neck sending a ticklish sensation as his hot breath hit your bare shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Princess. I didn't mean to make you cry." He murmured. You were shocked. Jungkook is apologizing to you?

Maybe because he saw you crying for the first time. All the other times you were not this much affected so he never knew, that his behaviour was even hurting you.

"Y/n, I can't see you in pain. I know I'm not being very good to you but I'm trying. Just know that I love you— I love you more than anything or anyone and I'll never hurt you intentionally. I just— I can't... " He said it all in one go, pulling you even closer.

You were too shocked to say anything so he pulled away. "Forgive me, please. Won't you forgive me Princess? Hmm?" He asked and you blinked multiple times, baffled.

He found you cute as always and a smile lifted up on his lips. Damn! His smile. He looks so ethereal. "I... I forgive you." You stuttered. He smiled again and kissed your forehead.

"I love you so much Princess." Jungkook said once again making your heart flutter and beat at an inhumane speed.

"I... I... love you too." You said, looking down while your cheeks flushed red. "As you should." He said and held your chin making you look at him. "Now let's sleep, shall we?"

You climbed off his lap and laid down on your side of bed, facing Jungkook. He turned off the lights and laid down too.

"Come here! I can't sleep without you in my arms." He said and pulled you in his embrace, inhaling your scent that calms him down.

You smiled and buried your face in his chest. The feeling of being safe rushed through your whole body. He held you closer to his heart letting you know that his heart beats for you.

But suddenly his words repeated in your mind. 'Come here I can't sleep without you in my arms.' That's when it hit you! You never crawled up to his side.
