"Can I handle the seasons of my life?"
-Fleetwood Mac

CHAPTER THREE
PAGE ONE
A few days had rolled by filled with hard work. The downstairs of the house was beginning to look liveable. The plumbing was working, electricity was to be finished by the minute all the while Alexander and Wren were working tirelessly to fix the cracks in the flooring.

Meanwhile Clementine and Jamie chased after the electricians painting the walls they had finished hooking up with electricity.

The hallway was now a lovely wallpaper the background a extravagant duck egg green, with birds of all colours printed and a golden vine that shimmered when the light hit wove it's way around the birds. The four of them had all worked together to add a dark sideboard along the bottom half of the hallway walls.

The wood matched perfectly with the grand dark staircase which was next on the list to get sanded down, patched up and polished to perfection.

The kitchen was now a creamy light grey which would look perfect with the furniture Clementine planned to furnish the room with. A large thick dark oak table with a bench on one side and stools along the other side. The table was to take up most of the room due to her desire to use it to bake on. The counters would be the same dark oak that was found throughout the house but the tops she planned on being slate. The dark of the slate would match with the old stove she planned on restoring and continuing to use.
For now though the main concern in the kitchen was to clean the tiles up they were so dirty it was unclear the real colour of them.

The storm outside had been going nonstop since the early morning and everyone seemed to be a bit down in the dumps. The original plans for the day was for them all to go shopping the next town over, Clementine had it signed off with the prison and the officers agreee due to their good behaviour that it would be alright for the one day. Now though the hailstones and occasional thunder and lightening were preventing their escape from the house for the day.

Unable to keep their disappointment at bay Clementine was well aware. As they finished painting the last piece of the kitchen and were about to move on to the ballroom she had decided enough was enough. She sat her brush in the bucket of water grabbed Jamie's had and tugged him over into the ballroom. She reached for her record player out of one of her boxes and pulled out the album 'say you love me' by Fleetwood Mac.
It was her pride and joy and as she plugged the record player into one of the hidden socket that had just been installed she flipped the switch, put the needle on the record and turned the music up full blast.

Clementine began to dance around her paint covered dungarees becoming a blur to Jamie who stood watching his arms laying aimlessly and his eyebrows scrunched.
It wasn't long until Wren and Alexander peeked their heads round at the main entrance.

Clementine aware she was the only one dancing, took hold of Jamie's hands and swayed his arms up and down while she swayed her hips to the music.
Looking into his eyes she shouted "come on dance you weirdo!" Before turning around and nudging her head towards the two boys at the top of the stairs into the ballroom.
Slowly Jamie has started to loosen up and the other two joined in.

Clementine spinned in circles her arms flying all over the place as they all laughed and joked.

Alexander took hold of Clementines hand and spun her too the music as Wren took Jamie's hand and spun him.

Laughs were all that could be heard until well into the next day.
