"P.S tenderness is important"

CHAPTER THREE
PAGE SIX

After a long day of working on the walls of the building the fire was lit brightly as the four of them chilled around the fire.

"Right, it's time we have a talk" Clementine insisted gaining the three men's attentions .

"I understand you are all your own people but I think it's time we make some rules"
Jamie rolled his eyes, Alexander closed his book 'biblical loopholes' and Wren rubbed the hickies on his neck.

"I don't want to ruin your fun or anything however, you've got to understand this is my house and if you're going to have people in it then please inform me in advance."

Clementine took a breath before continuing,

"I understand that you all have wants outside of what I can provide and I'm okay with you having people to the building but please don't go round causing drama in this town, you've already caused enough and that's only from the distance of the house or the off trip into the town center. I also realize that it was my choice to have you stay here until your sentence is completely over."

Being careful of her words Clementine paused.

"You only have a few weeks left here, can we please make sure those few weeks are filled with the least amount of drama. You will all leave here soon and finally manage to go back to living freely, when you leave I will still be left with whatever drama that has been created. This may not affect you but please out of respect for me think through your actions with the people around us."

There was a silence filled with the crackling of the fire.

"Okay deal" Jamie replied as Sebastian stood to place another log in the grand fire place.

Clementine smiled with a nod.
"It wasn't an option" she giggled

"Anyway! Now that that's over I have a surprise for you all."

With that she rushed to the kitchen area, which smelled questionable due to some nice white tiles being laid, and pulled out a bottle of champagne from a cardboard box before rushing through to the ballroom in which the three men awaited her arrival.

"Surprise!" she shouted as she held the bottle up for them to see before rushing down the few steps into the room,

They gathered up four clean coffee cups before Clementine began to try opening the bottle which of course was not happening.

Just as she was about to give up it popped open hitting the ceiling and the Wren who flinched under the hit.

The liquid fizzed up and Clementine rushed to fill up the cups without it spilling all over the marble floor which she made a mental note to polish the next day.

As they sat around the fire with their drinks in hand there was yet again a silence, not one of awkwardness but one that Jamie wished to fill.

"You know, when we first arrived here I thought you wouldn't have lasted two minute with us. We can be a lot to handle at times but you've never failed to keep an eye on us and make sure we are okay and for that I cant thank you enough."

"It has been my pleasure."

The moon shone into the room as they all happily chatted between themselves about nothing of great importance.
