Isobel P.O.V.

After the lovely tea ceremony, Sophie changed back into her pink dress and those involved in the wedding ceremony headed down together for the rehearsal.

An arm snuck around my waist, spinning me towards him. It could only be one person.

"Guess who the lucky lady is that gets to take a ride with me?"

"Who?" I played clueless. "Oliver's cousin who's been eyeing you for the past 30 minutes?"

"Ooft baby are you jealous?" Kade smirked.

"No," I scoffed. "And I'm not your baby."

He bit his lip. "I love it when you're jealous. So feisty."

I narrowed me eyes at him, before walking off. With quick strides he caught up to me, lacing his fingers through mine.

"Come on, let's go for a ride," he wiggled his eyebrows, dragging me towards his car. I turned in search of Sophie, as I saw her hop into her own car with Oliver and Casey. They started the engine and drove off, leaving a cloud of dust behind. I sighed, I've got no other options now.

I slid into the passenger seat, buckling myself up. He popped on a pair of black sunglasses to block the rays of the late afternoon sun before taking off.

"That was cool huh?" He said absentmindedly as he leaned back in his seat, gently manoeuvring through traffic.

"Yeah," I agreed. "That was really nice to be a part of. I can't wait for tomorrow now."

"It's crazy. Can't believe they're actually doing it. Married. Forever."

"Something wrong with that?" I questioned curiously.

"Well no, but I guess it's a pretty massive deal. And they are really young. I mean, I don't know when I would get married..."

I nodded as I thought to myself. I don't know when I would either. Maybe it just comes with the territory of meeting someone and knowing it feels right to commit to each other forever because you're both in love.

"They're in love. I guess that's all they really need."

"Damn Bels, who you knew were a little romantic and poetic underneath all that."

"Proceed carefully Whitley. What do you mean by all that?" I crossed my arms over.

He shrugged. "Y'know, all that I don't need no man, I'm a bad bitch, I take no prisoners and I can kick your ass attitude."

I chuckled at his description. "Well I'm also just a girl at heart as well. I like love, well heck I probably love, love. It's kind of impossible not to want that."

"Aw look at you, so soft and cute."

"Yeah whatever," I rolled my eyes playfully. "I haven't forgotten how "soft" and "cute" you are."

"Oh I hope you're not talking about my dick." He widened his eyes with a grimace.

I spluttered. "What?! Kade you can't just say those things out loud!"

His large guffaws filled the air accompanied by the sounds of the roaring engine and music in the background.

"You like it," he continued to laugh heartily.

"Oh my god," I groaned, covering my face up.

"You didn't object." He smirked playfully, as we pulled up at the location.

"We're not talking about this anymore!" I said, shaking my head.

We met up at the small courtyard beside the beach, next to where the ceremony will be taking place so we could go through the steps and know our places. I quickly exited the car, forcing myself to not turn around to see his stupidly good-looking smug face. Jacob, Remi, Jenny, Claudia, Casey, Tobias, Oliver and Soph stood gathered around, alongside Oliver's sister and husband with their daughter, and Sophie's parents and cousin.

"Hey Tobias," I grinned, striding over towards him. He pulled me into a hug, before glancing down at my dress.

"Hey, Is! You look stunning."

"Thanks," I winked playfully. "So do you!"

"Why thankyou," he chuckled. "So, big day tomorrow hey?"

"Yeah," I nodded. "Fingers-crossed it all goes well."

"I think it will. I feel like you guys planned everything from top to bottom flawlessly." He said, grinning. "Or so Casey tells me."

I straightened up, the sound of her name peaking my interest. "Casey huh? You've been chatting the younger Herman up?"

He blushed. "Well um..."

"Oh my god!" My eyes widened with glee. "You so have!" I whisper shouted.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Well I mean, at the bachelor party we got along really well, and she's so grown up..."

I was basically bubbling over with excitedness. This is actually so perfect! They were both such sweet, happy-go-lucky people. Now that I think about it, it totally should have happened sooner! Although perhaps it may have been odd when she was a freshman, and he was a senior. But now, she was 21, and he was 24. Not a big deal whatsoever. And they were both living in the same place. I chuckled, wiggling my fingers together almost conspiratorially. I need to put some sails up on this ship!

"Ooo! Tobias, I am all for this little thing you've got going on."

"You are?" He quirked an eyebrow. "I mean, would Sophie be okay with it?"

"Omg of course!" I grabbed onto his shoulders, shaking them. "Totally. You know her, she'll be happy you're happy. And happy that you're making her sister happy."

He nodded, smiling to himself.

"Well... that's if you are?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "Cause if you aren't, she is like my sister too and I will hurt you."

"Okay okay," he chuckled. "God Is, I think Kade's the only one that can handle you. You are one wild lady."

I laughed, pushing him on the shoulder lightly. "Ohh this will be so much fun."

The celebrant arrived so we could begin the rehearsal. The flower girl and ring boy, Oliver's niece and Sophie's cousin walked down the aisle together first, followed by the bridesmaids and Sophie and her father. This happened as the groomsmen stood up at the end of the aisle with Oliver and the celebrant. I tried to walk as gracefully and fluidly as I could, whilst maintaining a slow, elegant pace.

We then went through the process of positioning ourselves for certain parts of the ceremony. I had to remember when to hold her bouquet and when we needed to straighten her dress. We also went over the part where the witnesses came to sign the wedding certificate before making our exit.

One by one, the bridesmaids joined with the groomsmen, making our way out in pairs. Kade grinned, escorting me with my arm tucked into his elbow down the aisle like a gentleman.

"M'lady," he bowed, releasing me as we reached the end. He kneeled, reaching for my hand and pressed a kiss on it.

"You are so dramatic," I chuckled as he rose to his feet.

He shrugged, shooting me that handsome lopsided grin.

We turned our heads to hear the sounds of a little boy and girl giggling, watching us from the side. Sophie's cousin bent down, kissing Ollie's niece's hand, much to her delight.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the sweet sight and be relieved. Thank god he wasn't doing anything inappropriate for these young, impressionable minds to see.

Ollie's niece made her way over towards us, staring up at us curiously.

"Hey Alicia," Kade smiled at the little girl.

"Hi!" She grinned, giving him a high-five. She beckoned me to lower myself, I did so, as she cupped a hand around my ear and whispered shyly. "Is he your prince?"

"No," I responded, winking at her. "Because I'm a queen."

She nodded, somewhat in understanding. "I'm a princess right now, but one day I'm going to be a Queen too! And have a King!"

I laughed. "Okay."

"Bye!" She ran off towards her parents.

"What was that about?" He raised his eyebrows curiously.

"Nothing," I smiled to myself.

"M-hmm. It's never nothing with you."

"Let's go to dinner," I said, looping my arm in his once again. I stepped forward, turning my head over my shoulder. "I'm starving."

"Me too..." he said lowly, more to himself than me.

Sophie reserved a small number of tables for herself and Oliver's close family, plus the wedding party at Marino's- a lovely seafood restaurant where my mom used to work back in the day, and is considering taking up a job again.

I took a seat at the table designated for us, as Kade slid into the one on my right hand side-of course. On my left, Remi sat down smiling politely.

"Hey Isobel, how are you?"

"Hi, yeah I'm good thankyou, you?" I smiled in return.

"I'm great. Pretty excited for tomorrow. It's going to be such a nice day."

"Yeah! You gonna shed some tears?" I teased, as a waiter came around to place drinks on the table.

"Maybe," he shrugged playfully. "You?"

"As much as I don't want to, I probably will," I admitted with a small chuckle.

He laughed. "I'll throw a handkerchief in my jacket for you."

"I'll hold you up on that," I grinned. Kade snorted from beside me, as I felt his heated gaze run down my back.

"Okay," he agreed. "But you've gotta do something for me in return."

"Oh?" I tilted my head curiously. "What's that?" I played along. At this point Kade shifted in his seat, before he placed one of his large rough hands on my thigh. I ignored him as I continued to give all my attention to Remi.

"M-hmm." He nodded, "A dance."

That was smooth. I'll give him credit for that.

"Alright," I chuckled lightheartedly. Kade squeezed my thigh, causing me to clamp them together as I reached under the table to lightly smack it in warning. What the hell is he doing now?

"Good." Remi grinned. He picked up the menu and looked over it. "So, what are you going to order?"

I didn't need to, I already knew what I would like. "I always love their seafood marinara pasta, but the surf and turf option is amazing aswell." I replied, remembering the many times I ate here or had leftovers.

"Okay," he nodded. "I'll take your word for it."

I chuckled. "I'm a very trustworthy person you know."

"Isobel." Kade hissed into my ear, tightening his hold on my thigh.

"What?" I turned towards him raising my eyebrows in question.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "You know what."

"I don't," I shook my head. "Tell me Kade."

His green orbs lit ablaze flashing with streaks of yellow as it regarded me cooly. He muttered something under his breath with frustration before picking up his menu. "Do you want to share?" He eventually asked.

I pursed my lips in thought. "Hmm depends, what are you getting?"

"The butter garlic prawns and a dozen fresh oysters."

"Okay," I nodded. "I'm getting the marinara."

"I know. It's the only predictable thing about you." He stated, taking a sip from his beer.

"What do you mean?"

"You always get the pasta."

"Not always!" I protested. "I mean I like, um I like oysters too." I fumbled, thinking about times where I ordered something else when pasta was available...

He gave me a flat, pointed look, waiting for me to continue with my useless defence.

"Okay fine!" I huffed, "It's my favorite. It can't be helped."

Kade chuckled amusedly, gloating over the fact that he was right.

I popped open a cider, pouring it into my glass before taking a sip. And we have to spend all day together tomorrow. Oh boy.
