Soft rolling waves and stretches of shining white sand could be seen as we arrived at the ceremony location. There was a gentle breeze and blue skies, forming a backdrop for the rows of white chairs and platform lined with exotic flowers. At the very end of the aisle, a rustic white wood arch stood, wrapped in a sheer white billowing curtain. The tall structure was decorated bountifully in roses, lilies, snapdragons and babies breath in a gradient of colors such as peach, cream, white and blush. Guests spilled in one after the other, taking their seats as a soft melodic tune played from surrounding speakers. The clock struck half past two, and everyone took their places.

The music stopped and a guitarist began to softly play the first magical notes of the bridal march. The guests rose from their seats, smiling at the adorable scene of the flower girl, scattering petals down the aisle and ring bearer, holding a small ring cushion as they walked arm in arm.

I was a little girl alone in my little world
Who dreamed of a little home for me
I played pretend between the trees
And fed my house guests bark and leaves
And laughed in my pretty bed of green

Claudia then began the descent down towards the centre platform, followed by Jenny and Casey, as they lined up one by one from the outer edge. I smiled with pure joy as I watched my best friend take her father's arm. I nodded over towards her one last time before taking my own leave.

"It's time."

"Thankyou," she mouthed over to me.

I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing
I had a dream

I took my steps one by one down the white platform aisle as fluidly as possible, holding the gorgeous bouquet in front. I smiled brightly at the guests and the cameras, shooting my mom a small grin as I passed her. My eyes caught Kade's who watched me with a soft smile and a sparkle in his eye that caused my stomach to flutter at the sight. He looked so suave in his black tux, like it was tailored to absolute perfection on his body. I finally neared the platform and grinned at Oliver as I took my position beside Casey.

Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park
I asked God who I'm supposed to be
The stars smiled down on me
God answered in silent reverie
I said a prayer and fell asleep

It was like time stood still as every head turned towards the most beautiful woman right now. Sophie took her first step down the aisle towards the man of her dreams.

I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing
I had a dream

Oliver greeted Mr. Herman as he handed Sophie over to her groom. Sophie gave her dad a hug and a kiss on the cheek before taking Oliver's hand.

"Hi," Oliver whispered with a loving beam as he pressed a kiss to her hand and led her up the small step.

"Hi," she whispered back, happiness bursting at the seams.

"Dearly beloved, we are all gathered here today to witness the union of Oliver Chao Jason Lowe and Sophie Therese Herman. They welcome you to bear witness to their commitment and also to wish them well as they proceed to endeavour on their new life together." The celebrant announced to officially begin the procession. "This is more than a ceremony, it is a significant moment of celebration. Marriage is a personal decision between two people that should be not taken lightly, and is to be greatly considered and respected when entered into."

Sophie and Oliver both nodded, standing before the celebrant.

"From what I have come to know from meeting these two young, wonderful people before me, is that they are so full of love. Sophie and Oliver are a brilliant example that love can be found in any shape or form, at any age, and last through change. I think that we can all agree here, that their journey has been a great one to reach this very moment. From being high school sweethearts and overcoming all that dramatic teenage angst," we all chuckled at the celebrants statement, "to college kids stuck in the in-between of school life and the reality of the outside world, and then, finally journeying through to true adulthood. Sophie mentioned she was very proud to say that after all these years, she hasn't picked up on Oliver's nasty habit of leaving his dirty socks everywhere," He said, causing us to giggle at the comment, "whilst on the other hand, Oliver noted that he thinks all of his belongings are slowly being replaced and turning pink." This earnt a good chuckle from the guests.

"But in all seriousness, I stand before you today, willingly, and happily officiating this marriage. From this day forward, you will continue to endure life together, grow together, and grow to love one another through any circumstances and obstacles, forever."

Mrs Lowe then approached the centre platform to give a small reading at the lectern in English and her native tongue. "A reading from the Corinthians. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

Sophie and Oliver then turned to face each other, holding their hands together.

"Before we begin, I must remind you that marriage under law is a union of two individuals, in your case, a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into by life."

The bride and groom both grinned, nodding in agreement.

"Do you, Oliver Lowe, take Sophie Herman to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you love her, comfort her, respect and protect her? Do you promise to share all life has to offer with her- all your hopes, dreams, disappointments and grievances from this day forward?"

"I do." Oliver beamed, taking the wedding band from the cushion to slide onto her finger.

"And do you, Sophie Herman, take Oliver Lowe to be your lawfully wedded husband? Will you love him, comfort him, respect and protect him? Do you promise to share all life has to offer with him- all your hopes, dreams, disappointments and grievances from this day forward?"

"I do." Sophie grinned, taking Oliver's wedding band and slid it onto his.

"Your hands thus joined, bearing rings that form an infinite circle which symbolises that which is endless, and has no beginning an end, and is a representation of your union and everlasting love for each other. Repeat after me-"

"I, Oliver, promise to have and to hold, you, Soph in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer." Oliver said softly, cupping Soph's cheek in one hand, whilst holding onto her other. "I promise to love and to cherish you unconditionally until death do us part."

She smiled, leaning into his touch. "I, Sophie, promise to have and to hold, you, Ollie in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer. I promise to love and to cherish you unconditionally until death do us part."

My eyes watered as I watched the sweetest couple get their happily ever after.

"By the power vested in me by the state of Rhode Island of the United States of America, and all states herein," he paused for dramatic effect. "I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

A loud of chorus of cheers and applause erupted as Oliver wrapped an arm around Sophie's waist and dipped her back. She held onto his jaw, as he leaned in and planted a sweet kiss on her lips. Kade and Jacob simultaneously brought their hands to their lips and blew a loud wolf-whistle amidst the raucous clapping from the guests. I raised my bouquet high in the air and cheered loudly.

Soon after, their wedding certificates were signed, with Mrs Herman and Mr Lowe stepping up to give their signatures as the two witnesses.

"Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Lowe!"

With faces radiating so much happiness it could bring world peace, they held hands as they began their descent down the aisle whilst we threw confetti into the air over them.

Kade held his arm out with a devilish smirk as I made my way to him slipping my arm in as he lead us down, following behind Oliver and Sophie.

"You look like a goddess." He whispered into my ear as we both grinned, waltzing down the aisle together.

I giggled. "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself."

He smirked down at me. "I think you know I look much better than not so bad."

"Uh huh," I raised my eyebrows. "What makes you think that?"

"The way you were glancing at me throughout the ceremony."

"I could've just been very happy as my eyes just so happened to fall in your direction," I chuckled.

"Sure, sure." He laughed, "But yeah that was fucking awesome. I think I almost cried."

"I'm pretty sure a tear fell from my eye." I said.

He brushed his thumb underneath my eye carefully. "You still look picture perfect." I blushed at the tender gesture. "Come on now, I think we've got to say our congrats," he tilted his head over to the crowd starting to form around the newlyweds.

I felt like flashes went off everywhere in the celebratory mayhem as we hugged, cheered, said our well wishes and took masses of photos. Family photos, couple photos, single photos, photos with the bride and groom, group photos and so on and so forth.

To ensure we kept on schedule, the wedding party hopped into the limo as we headed off for a couple of different photo shoot destinations and to shoot some more wedding video clips. All that, and the night hadn't even started yet!
