"Today we'll be discussing over homosexuality. Something that the devil himself created and is the worst sin to be commited. Leviticus 20:13, If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

A few amens come from the crowd as the priest continues.

"A man who loves another man is disgusting and can no longer be called a real man. God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve."

Jimin nods at his words, his parents and brother nodding as well.

"In a homosexual is the devil himself. Leviticus 18:22, You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination" this is true. Female's were put onto this earth for a purpose. To satisfy us Men and reproduce."

Jimin's mother nods in agreement, every other female within the chapel nods as well.

"Right now more and more disgusting homosexuality are coming out and brainwashing the youth of today. What will happen when we no longer have real men and women to carry on your blood line? Only shame and sin will carry on with you as you enter hell."

The crowd bursts into applause, shouting amens.

"Carry on our blood line boys. Only glory and heaven will be awaiting you on your path."

His father gives their shoulders a rather hard squeeze, causing Jimin to become nervous with such a given weight and responsibility placed onto his shoulders.

"I will. No need to worry father."

"That's my son."

He pats him on the back, the service coming to an end.

"Fathers, please discuss with your son's of the importance of keeping faithful to only god and keeping your sons away from filthy homosexuals."

The priest announces, causing fathers to steer their sons off somewhere to discuss of such a matter.

"Why do homosexuals even exist?"

"Because god tests those who are faithful to him and if they're willing to become real men."

Jimin passes fathers and sons bonding over the hatred of gays. The Park's head home as his mother prepares dinner, setting the table.

"Let me help you."

Jimin insists, placing their plates onto the table.

"You know how your father is about this. He'd have you whipped and reading the bible. Men aren't allowed to do the women's duties."

It seemed unfair to him since his mother did most of the work around the house. Cleaning, cooking, washing the clothes, dishes, basically slaving away as his father took care of the "manly" things around here.

"What do you think you're doing Jimin?"

His father walks into the dining room with his brother behind him, the boy quickly letting go of the plate, turning to face him.

"I-I was-"

"I almost dropped the plate but Jimin thankfully was here and caught it just in time."

His mother butts in.

"At first I thought he was doing the women's job."

He chuckled, taking a seat waiting for his wife to serve him. Their plates are piled with food, all holding hands bowing their heads.

"Bless us, O Lord, and these, Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty. Through Christ, our Lord. And behalf us all in the room we take today's service into mind. Amen."

They then begin to eat, only hearing the clattering of dishware.

"So about today's service. If one of my son's were homosexual I would rather kick them out of my house or take them to church every single day and have them repent. How embarrassing for the family's who have to deal with such foul sinners."

"A shame."

His mother chews her food, looking down at her plate.

"You don't have to worry about me."

Jihyun states with a grin since everybody knew about his younger brother having a girlfriend.

"When are you considering getting a girlfriend Jimin?"

His father furrows his brows. It was rather weird for a nineteen year old teenager to not have a girlfriend while all his friends did.

"Just can't find the right one. Most are homosexual, don't believe in my beliefs, or are lazy and won't care after me."

He states, which is mostly true but he just didn't want to deal with a relationship at the moment.

"What's happening to girls these days? After they won the right to vote they now think that they can do whatever they want."

"I can introduce you to some girls at our church that would be glad to date my handsome son."

His mother giggles, pinching Jimin's cheek.

"Mooom."

He rolls his eyes.

They finish up eating, leaving his mother to clean the dishes while the teenagers went to their rooms and their father sat in the living room to watch television. Heading upstairs to his room Jimin plops down onto his bed, laying on his back.

He knew for a fact that he wasn't normal. Back in kindergarten he would always hug his friends and kiss them on the cheek, gaining weird looks from parents. Most kids were told to stay away from him since most suspected that he was a homosexual and his father punished him for behaving in such a sinful way.

He distanced himself from boys and stopped doing "weird" things. He stared at his boring white ceiling, thinking about today's service and his father's words. No girl has caught his attention lately nor did he wish for a relationship, yet his father pressured him almost everyday about it.

He got down on his knees and recited his nightly prayer before heading to bed.

Update: I know some of you are tRiGgErEd with the way the church is and how it doesn't correctly portray Catholics or Christians. This is a fanfiction, I made the church seem that way for a reason. If it was a normal caring church I wouldn't have a plot.
