It's a long story how we got to this point. I've known Tesla for years, and it's a shame my son had to get involved. When I was my son's age, I'll admit I did some street racing. My son is eighteen now and he had always liked skateboarding, surfing and had always wanted to be a driver. The cherry doesn't fall far from the tree, I'm a good driver. That's why I've risen up the ranks here in the Silencerz. The Silencerz are an elite squadron of spies from many nations around the world. We specialize in high-speed operations and espionage. Our base is underground in Europe where many countries send their most elite spies and drivers. Many assets serve us; Dr. Tesla was put in charge of SCRIM, one of our best assets. Dr. Tesla invented Nitrox 2 and a new kind of car that could reach 300 MPH. While traveling around the world, Dr. Tesla found ancient inscriptions and interdimensional breaches.

Dr. Tesla claimed that he had found a way for humanity to become an interstellar species, to solve the world's energy problems and that interdimensional aliens called Accelerons had left everything we need on Earth. I agreed to fund robot exploration of the interdimensional breaches. However, his remote-controlled robots kept failing to figure out how to get through the interdimensional race tracks. So he formed an elaborate scheme to succeed in his plan. Finding some of the world's best drivers to race through them. The project was expensive but he funded it himself with the SCRIM Corporation.

While Tesla prepared for his race to find the Wheel of Power. A rival agency began to intervene. A northern European robotics company called Clyp became interested in finding the wheel. The Racing Drones had been dormant in the Arctic for thousands of years. In the 20th century, their leader RD-Queen awoke and discovered that humanity had developed automobiles. She took control of Clyp by killing their president, a woman named Gelorum, and stole her identity and skin to make her android body look human. Clyp found Kurt Wylde, a Grand Prix driver who had been chosen by Dr. Tesla to participate in the World Race. Gelorum deceived Kurt Wylde into working undercover.

Dr. Tesla searched far and wide for some of the world's best drivers. He found Banjee Castillo, Brian Kadeem, Pete Karris, and several others. Tesla created the Deora II for me because he knew that my son and I liked to surf. My son achieved a perfect score on his driving test and Dr. Tesla noticed. Out of cowardice, Dr. Tesla left the Deora II on my driveway, so my son would follow the GPS into the desert. This is insane, he took advantage of my son for personal gain that easily. Fortunately, Vert didn't sustain any injuries during the race. I was proud that my son won the race and then took the wheel back because it was the right thing to do. However, I was upset that Tesla didn't ask me first about letting my son in the race.

Over the next two years, SCRIM served as a valuable asset to the Silencerz. We began using experimental metals, such as Unobtanium, on our vehicles for enhancements. Combining the excellent cars made by SCRIM with top-secret military technology created some of the coolest and most efficient cars in history. Following the World Race, we investigated the Clyp Agency which started to suspiciously search the arctic. We discovered that they were unearthing the Racing Drones to build up Gelorum's army. Dr. Tesla was still obsessed with the interdimensional breaches and studying the Wheel of Power.
