Summary: What starts off as a one night stand to you quickly turns into something more, but things are never that easy

—————————————————————————

Head aching beyond belief. Your body felt like it was ran over by a truck. Nothing could have prepared you though for the surprise sleeping right next to you.

A gorgeous man sound asleep lightly snoring his body facing yours. His arm draped over your body in almost a protective like way. The feeling was warming and comfortable, but you had no idea who this stranger was.

Now you weren't the type of person to take random men home. Come to think of it you never took random men home with you. The guys you usually slept with were men you were seeing or dating.

You always thought one night stands were slutty and trashy. Your friends making fun of you for never being more promiscuous and adventurous.

It suddenly dawned on you this was the handsome man you met last night. He was chatting you up at the bar, and the two of you got to talking and obviously took you home.

You felt bad not remembering his name. Maybe he would just leave without another word, and neither of you would see each other again.

Pulling his arm off your body slowly as to surely not wake him up. Maybe you could hide and he would just leave without a word. The last thing you wanted to deal with was an awkward conversation or encounter.

Tiptoeing out of the bedroom making very slight movement like a slumbering tiger was in the room. When suddenly a raspy voice made you stop right in your tracks.

"Where are you sneaking off to?" Closing your eyes and thinking to yourself why did you have to take someone home with you.

You liked spending time by yourself, and not having to be bothered by someone else. You really liked the peaceful and quiet life.

Turning around you got a better look at his hair. His dark blonde hair all shuffled around giving him that sexy look. His light blue eyes were trapping yours.

Not getting a good look at his body but from his toned arms you would tell he was very fit. This man was built by god himself, and you now were even more puzzled why he went home with you.

"I was just uh going to umm get something to drink." Stuttering over your words trying to come up with something at the top of your head.

"Kinda looks like you were trying to sneak off." He gave a slight smirk very well knowing what you were doing.

All you could do was blush and look down at the ground. Like a kid getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Now you couldn't help but feeling guilty for trying to leave so quickly.

"I'm sorry I've never done this before." Clasping your hands together standing awkwardly now facing him fully. Not really sure what to say or do now that you've been caught.

"Ah well usually the person you bring home with you who doesn't live here is the one sneaking off not the person who does." He lightly chuckled when he was trying to explain to you nicely how a one night stand works. Your cheeks felt like they were on fire at this point.

"Oh right that makes sense." Responding back to him with a light giggle almost feeling like an idiot.

"I really liked cuddling with you though." He cheekily commented making you feel butterflies.

"Thanks I did too." Your voice becoming shaky not sure exactly what else to say.

Too afraid you were going to say or do the wrong thing. You knew he could tell you were nervous though. Your body was reeking with nervousness.

Seconds went by and there was just silence between the two of you. Not really knowing what to say at this point or what to do.

Do you ask for his name? Do you kick him out? Is there going to be a second time or a date? All these questions were running through your mind right now.

"Your not sure what to do next are you?" He asked as if he were reading your thoughts and could tell you were nervous what to do.

"Yeah." Looking down at your feet his gaze almost making your knees buckle.

Would he even want to see you again? The feeling of him just disappearing from your life like that kind of made you feel sad.

"Well we could start by exchanging names." His body lifting up more so the sheets exposed more of his tanned skin.

"I'm Chris." Oh so that's his name. He reaches his hand out to you with a huge smile on his face. You couldn't help but giggle at his quirkiness.

"I'm Y/N." Taking his hand into yours so the two of you could shake hands.

He seemed like a very sweet and kind guy. He didn't come off as the guy to hump and dump you the next day. Which maybe a good thing for you because the last thing you needed to feel was used.

"Nice to meet you Y/N. Maybe we could also exchange numbers?" It came off as more of a question than a demand.

Like he didn't want to come off as pushy or possessive. He was silently asking for your permission which you greatly appreciated.

"Yeah I would like that." The two of you couldn't stop smiling at each other. He pulled you back into bed wrapping his arms around you and you couldn't help but erupt into a fit of giggles.

"I lucked out with a beautiful girl." His eyes holding truth in them when he said that and you felt your heart swooning. He surely knew what to say.

"I guess I lucked out too." Making him laugh and leaning towards you pulling you into bed with him and wrapping you in his arms. Maybe this was a good thing.

The both of you spent the rest of the day relaxing in bed and watching movies. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy, and you couldn't have lucked out better with him. Asking all these questions about you and your life. Seeming interested in who you were as a person, and things you liked.

In fact this wasn't the last time you two hung out. He would ask you out, and of course you accepted. The first date was a success, and he would continue to ask you out on more dates.

The two of you were getting closer and closer. You were finding out you both had a lot of similarities and hobbies. Both of you expressing interest in each other's lives.

"Who knew two strangers would be so similar and compatible with each other." He joked with you after finding out more about each other.

"I know it's like we were meant to find each other." Your words almost shocking you even for saying something like that. Chris loved hearing that though because he couldn't stop smiling at you.

Chris always wanting to take you out on dates and doing something spontaneously almost everyday. When he found out you liked to bowl he of course had to challenge you, and bet he could beat you.

"It's never too late to back out now while you can. There's no way you're a better bowler than me." He cockily said after you had arrived to the bowling alley and gotten your shoes.

"I swear I'm a better bowler than you are. You're going to lose." Trying to convince him while you were tying up your shoes after you both had agreed to a friendly competition. He just couldn't stop shaking his head and laughing to himself.

"We'll see about that love. I promise you though I will beat you and you're gonna be disappointed when you lose." His confidence never surprised you, but you loved the competitive side of him.

That made being with him more fun because being with him there was never a dull or boring moment.

There were some days where you just wanted to grab a bite to eat or even get some ice cream, and made sure to give you what you wanted at all times. Like your happiness was very important to him.

"Uh I'll have the mint chocolate chip on a waffle cone please." You ordered at the ice cream shop you had asked him to take you to. Of course he was more than obliged to drive you there.

"I'll have a rocky road on a waffle cone." After you two had ordered you both sat down and enjoyed each other's presence.

Looking over you saw an elderly couple sharing a banana split together and laughing like they were young lovers again. The thought alone making you smile and envy what they had.

"Aren't they adorable?" You spoke without even thinking and Chris followed to where your eyes were looking and smiled himself.

Turning to look at you and grabbing your hand neither of you saying anything. Without saying a word his face was enough to tell you he thought the same thing too. It looked like both of you were envying the same thing.

Any time he took you out he would hold your hand or wrap his arm around your waist. He took every opportunity to give you kisses. Calling you beautiful or gorgeous multiple times a day.

Chris wasn't wanting to push you into being his girlfriend right away, not wanting to scare you off. Definitely giving you enough time to think about it though, and not wanting to move too fast.

Now sex was something you both could agree on. Any time you were anywhere near a bed or piece of furniture the two of you were fucking on it relentlessly. He couldn't keep his hands off of you and you were absolutely loving it.

It was like your body was craving the attention he was giving you. You were more than willing to give into the craving. It was exciting and thrilling, and you were never wanting to lose this feeling.

Both of you had talked about previous toxic relationships you had been in. Having encountered a broken heart by someone else was a mutual feeling you two could relate to. It seemed like you both wanted the same thing, but nobody else was willing to give it to you.

The two of you got comfortable with each other. Always staying at his place or him staying at yours. Wearing his clothes, and him buying you whatever you desired. What seemed like would just be a one night stand turned into something much better.

Feelings were starting to become more and more evident in your relationship with him. Neither of you wanting to admit it though not wanting to move too fast of course.

Your affection for him was growing stronger by the day, and you could have almost sworn you were starting to fall in love with him. You weren't the type to fall fast, but when you were with Chris it was like a natural thing. It felt so real.

Both of you were laying on the couch trying to find something to watch. It's been about six months since the two of you had been hanging out and talking.

Next weekend you were going to be meeting his parents, and he was nervous but excited to meet them. You were nervous it was too soon, but he kept telling you he wanting nothing more than to meet them.

Everything was going perfectly in your life right now, and seemed as if nothing could ruin this feeling. Nothing could go wrong.

Knock knock knock

Light taps on the front door startled you both wondering who was knocking on the door this late. Then you remembered you guys had ordered Chinese almost an hour ago. Your stomach grumbled when you thought of food, and you couldn't wait to dig in.

"Oh thank god the foods here I was about ready to eat you." You giggled jokingly and Chris's eyes turned a shade darker and you gulped with the way he was looking at you.

"Funny cause I almost thought about eating you too." He winked at you pulling your body closer to his and leaning his face into your neck causing your cheeks to redden.

Always finding an opportunity to throw in a dirty comment or joke just to see your blush with embarrassment. No matter how many time you were physical with one another, he always made you blush and act like a virgin again.

Getting up from the couch and grabbing money out of your wallet you quickly walked over to the front door. Chris was continuing to scroll through the channels deciding on what to watch. You could care less though just as long as he was by your side that was all that mattered.

Opening the door ready to hand the delivery person your money, but it wasn't the delivery person. It was a tall blonde extremely beautiful woman standing there with a suitcase.

She looked down at you and scrunched her face in confusion. Why was she looking at you like that? If anyone should be staring like that it should be you. Maybe she had the wrong apartment number or something.

"Can I help you?" Finding your voice not trying to come off as rude and wanting to find out who this mystery woman was.

"Is Chris here?" She asked poking her head slightly into the apartment looking for her target, and you noticed an Australian accent.

Even her voice sounded beautiful almost making you feel even more insecure with your messy bun and wearing a large shirt with sweatpants. Your stomach starting to churn as to why she was asking for Chris.

"Uh yeah can I ask who you are?" You asked her moving in front of her so she couldn't get another look inside, and crossing your arms over your chest trying to look tough.

In all reality you were shaking like a leaf on the inside not sure who she was or why she was here. Your palms were starting to become sweaty with anxiousness, and your heart rate was starting to accelerate.

"I'm Cierra. Chris's girlfriend."

You could have sworn the air left your lungs, and your body froze like you were stuck in a trance. It was like your heart stopped for a split second. All you heard was girlfriend, and your mind went spiraling all over the place.

You couldn't help but just stare at her in disbelief. Not wanting to believe those words to be true. Your worst nightmare was coming true, and you almost wanted to tell yourself that was what this was.

Then Chris made his way off the couch to see what was taking so long with the delivery person. Then stopped in his tracks suddenly when he saw who was standing there. Almost as if he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him.

This was starting to become a real nightmare for him too. There was no way this woman was standing at his doorstep while he was with you.

"Cierra?" His voice peaking in volume giving you the unfortunate confirmation that you were dreading.
