Months passed and soon it was Jungkook's birthday. It was his 7th birthday. His parents also held a birthday party for him and all the guests including your family were invited. Of course, you were invited. It was your best friend's birthday. It was a grand celebration as Jungkook's family was somewhat rich.

"Y/n~~~ You came"

"Of course kookie, it's my best friend's birthday."

The cake was cut and it was time for birthday presents. Everyone gave him his birthday present and all of it was kept in Jungkook's room. After the party got over, Jungkook took you to his room and you two started opening his presents. You both were opening gifts with excitement and laughing together. After you both were done with it, you gave his gift which you brought for him to open it. When he tore the gift wrapper his eyes lightened up more than any bulb in his room and his face had the brightest smile you have ever seen. It was Avengers set. He instantly hugged you. You giggled and hugged him back.

"Y/n thankyou so muchhhhh, kookie loved it."

"Welcome kookie."

Jungkook broke the hug and gave you a peck on your cheeks. You smiled at him. Then you both started playing together with his new toys. This is how jungkook's day was spent.

Jungkook-- 10 years old
Y/n-- 9 years old

You and jungkook were playing together in a park. You two laid on the ground after playing for hours and was looking at the sky together. The sun was setting and the blue colour of the sky was slowly fading away letting the sky grow dark implying that the dusk is gonna take over the blue sky anytime soon. You two were looking at it when suddenly jungkook asked.

"Y/n, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

"I don't know Kookie, maybe a writer. What about you?"

"I want to be an astronaut because I love galaxy. I want to go into space and explore the whole universe with my own eyes."

"Wao!! That's really good. I will also come with you when you'll go into space."

"You really want to come with me?"

"Yes, Kookie," you replied with a big smile.

Jungkook smiled at you showing his bunny teeth. Then he layed down and you two were again watching the sky grow dark and the dusk taking its place in silence. You just loved how the sky was changing its colour, how the cool breeze was blowing making goosebumps rise on your bare arms but instantly warming your heart. You two were so lost in this feeling that you both lost track of time.

Suddenly it struck you that it was indeed late and if you don't go home right now you will get a good beating from your parents.

"Kookie, it's very late, let's go."

"Oh yes, you are right."

You both got up and started running when suddenly jungkook held your arm and stopped you.

"What happened Kookie? Is there something wrong?"

"There is a ghost, over there."

You didn't even look to where he pointed at, instead you shrieked in fear and hugged him as if your life depended on him. Then, you heard jungkook laughing loudly. You broke the hug and saw him laughing like a maniac. You got confused and looked around and saw nothing.

"Why are you laughing?? Where is the ghost?"

"There is no ghost y/n. I was just playing with you." Jungkook said still laughing. You glared at him and then started walking away from him. He ran up to you and caught your arm.

"I'm sorry y/n."

"You just gave me a heart attack. Do you even know how much I hate these kind of jokes?!"

"I'm really sorry y/n," Jungkook said while looking at you with apologetic eyes.

"It's okay, but please don't say those kinds of jokes ever again." You gave him a small smile.

"But you should have seen your face. It was so funny." Jungkook said laughing again.

"You will never change Jeon." This was the first time you called him by his surname other than Kookie. You just glared at him while Jungkook was still laughing.

You started walking again and Jungkook again held your hand. You were already too late and this boy was only making it late for you both.

"Seriously Kookie, what now?? We are already late."

"I want to ask you something."

"What is it??" Jungkook was only fiddling with the hem of his shirt, not saying anything and you were starting to lose your patience. Before you could say anything he asked you something which made your eyes go wide.

"Will you marry me, when we grow up?"
