"I know he likes you."

"Huh? Did you just say something oppa?" You asked as you looked up from your book.

"I know that Jungkook likes you." Yoongi looked at you with a smirk.

"How do you- I mean what are you even talking about?!" You said beads of sweat forming on your forehead as you were unable to make eye contact with him.

"I saw him wink at you when we went to see his football match and then I heard you talking to yourself when you came back home."

"Y-You saw everything that happened there??"

"Wait what, something happened back there when I came outside." Yoongi's smirk widened.

"Ah no no, it's not what you are thinking. It was just an eye kiss- No no, nothing happened." You immediately regretted what you just said and waved your hand Infront of him trying to make him believe that whatever you said isn't true.

"Chill sis, it's okay. I know Jungkook is a nice guy. I have no problem in you having any relationship with him. Besides that, he's your childhood friend. He is the best for you out there." Yoongi said with a genuine smile.

"Actually, he confessed to me but I have not given him any answer yet." Yoongi was shocked to hear this.

"What are you waiting for-" Yoongi's phone started ringing interrupting him. He answered it.
Yes-yes, I'll be there."

"Cupcake, some urgent work has come up...I don't think I'll be able to come home today. You'll be able to live alone.....right? and I'll talk to you tomorrow about this." You nodded your head in agreement. Yoongi quickly gave you a peck on your forehead and went out.

You were home alone now. Your parents were out of town as they went to visit your grandparents and they'll not be back 2 days from now. You didn't go with your parents because you had homework to do and tomorrow is its deadline. So, you decided to stay home and complete it. With a hand massaging your forehead, you went back to your room to deal with the disaster aka your homework.

It was 10 pm and you were currently working on your math problem when suddenly the lights went off.

"What The Hell??!!" You were shitless scared of the dark because you had nyctophobia. With cold sweats forming on your forehead and your heart thudding against your chest you frantically tried to search for your phone in the dark. You tried to be calm but you were growing more and more impatient. When you found your phone, you immediately switched on the flashlight with your shaky hands. You then stood on your feet and swiftly but carefully ran out of the house. When you were out, you wiped your tears which were flowing continuously and tried to calm yourself while taking a deep exhale. Only one person came on your mind and you immediately called him.

"Hello y/n!"

"J-Jungkook....I need you."

"I'm coming!!"

Jungkook was having dinner when you called him. He immediately stood up and made his way to your house when he heard your quivering voice.

When he reached your house, he saw you sitting outside on the staircase. When you saw him approaching, you immediately stood up and hugged him tightly. Without wasting a second he hugged you back.

"J-Jungkook..."

"Hey...hey, it's okay now, I'm here."

"Thankyou..thankyou for coming."

"Shh! Let's go inside."

"No, there's no power...it's dark."

"Let's check, I guess the power is back. We can't stay outside all night...right? See, it's raining also. We'll catch a cold if we don't go inside."
You slowly nodded your head.

Breaking the hug, Jungkook opened the door and peeked inside. The power was back so you two went inside with Jungkook holding your hand. This action of him comforted you in a strange way that you couldn't describe in words.

"Here Y/n, sit! I'll bring you water." Jungkook sat you on the couch and went into the kitchen to bring you a glass of water.

"Here...drink water y/n-ah!! Did you eat anything??" You took the glass from his hand, drank it and shook your head in negativity.

"I don't have an appetite for it."

"Ok then, go get some rest."

"Please come with me." Jungkook smiled hearing this.

"Ofcourse y/n, let's go!!"

You two went to your room. Your room was a mess. So, you decided to clean it up when you have freshened up. You went inside the bathroom and then came back to see your room cleaned.

"I cleaned it y/n-ah, have some rest now."

"Thanks, Jeon!!" You gave him a small smile.

You laid on the bed with Jungkook sitting by your side. He was gazing at you with a comforting smile and his hands softly stroking your hair.

"Will you stay Jungkook?"

"I ain't going anywhere."

"Thankyou!!"

It was now 11:30 and Jungkook was still sitting beside you. When he made sure that you were asleep, he stood up to go sleep in the next room. He gave a last look to see if you were actually asleep or not but then his gaze went to your cherry soft lips and he couldn't control himself. He brought his face close to yours but stopped when he was an inch closer to you. He smiled a little and said.
"You really make me go crazy."

Chuckling a little he then gave a soft kiss on your forehead. His lips lingered there for a while.

"Sleep, tight love!!" He backed away slowly.

As he was walking away, you suddenly grabbed his hand. He turned to you and saw that your eyes were still close.
"Stay with me!"

Without wasting any time, he came and laid beside you. You snuggled closer against the firmness of his muscular chest as he held you tight.

"I'm here with you y/n."

"I'm sorry....." You said with your eyes still closed as a tear trickled down your cheeks.

"Sorry about what?"

"Sorry......" You murmured something in your sleep and then went silent.
