"Stay with me...."

His eyes snap open and he jolts up from his bed. He breath heavily, thin coat of sweat covering his body and trailing down his face.

He hates this.

He hates these mornings where he had to wake up like this.

It's been ten years but her voice is still stuck on his head.

He have forgotten everything about her. Her face, her  memories, everything.

A small part of the smoke was left and he wants it to fade away completely.

He wants everything that reminds him of her to fade away.

But her voice, it was still stuck on his mind, inside each of his cell and it's hunting his dreamless nights.

Yoongi sighs, running a hand through his hair, scrunching his nose in disgust when he felt the wet locks.

He peers at the clock besides his bed, groaning when he sees that it was almost five.

He gets up, not wanting to be late, especially when the Chief was coming over today.

He clicks his tongue in annoyance, remembering the reason why he was coming today.

The Chief never bothers to visit the station, knowing that the qualified Inspectors and Officers he had trained are looking over Seoul really well.

Yoongi opens the shower, a blissful sigh leaving his lips when he feels the hot water run down his tense body, making his muscles relax as each drop left a soothing touch on their awake.

A rookie girl!

This was the first time the Chief decided to let a female work with them.

All of the respected men had been working for years together and nothing like this ever happened.

Yesterday, he openly showed his dislike towards the new decision made in the White house.

He made it seem like he doesn't want her to be there at all. But he didn't really mean it that way.

Truth to be told, he actually didn't want to deal with a wide eyed giggly girl who blabbers a lot and wants to tag along on every dangerous missions a rookie shouldn't.

He just wants her to be a professional which by the way, a rookie can never be.

All he could wish now was he won't end up being her guide.

Oh he wishes!

"Hyung is here~ Hyung is here~."

"Shut up taehyung! You're already giving me a headache." Yoongi grumbles, settling down on his office chair.

He glances at Taehyung, wondering how the blond man was still so energetic when he was on duty all night.

Even Jimin was knocked out with his mouth wide open.

"He won't wake up even if a fly dances in his mouth." Namjoon chuckles, drying his face and hands with a towel.

"Were you here all night too?" Yoongi questions, his brows furrowing slightly.

Namjoon nods. "Wanted to have some information about the upcoming mission."

Taehyung grins. "Namjoon hyung is always one step ahead."

At the moment, Jungkook and Hoseok enters the station, looking presentable with their freshly ironed uniforms.

"Good morning everyone and look who's here." Hoseok beams and both the newly entered males moves out of the way, revealing a fimiliar figure.

"Jin hyung." Taehyung cries out, jolting up from his chair and running to greet the male.

The man smiles brightly, putting down the giant lunch box he had with him before Taehyung crushes him in a bear hug.

Yoongi smiles at the sight of the man he had worked all his life with.

He gets up and stroll towards him.

Jin smiles and he wrap his arms around the thirty years old male.
"Yoongi, how have you been?" Jin asks, squeezing him.

"Not good."

Jin chuckles, patting the man's back when they pull away.

"I knew you would miss me."

Yoongi passes him a look but in reality, he did miss the male slightly.

Just slightly.

"Hyung, is that food?" Namjoon asks.

Jin pass him a disappointed look. "Wow Namjoon! Your doing good."

"I heard about the rookie." Jin tells, taking a sip from his coffee.

"You did?"

Jin hums. "You know your really lucky. She's a good individual."

"You know her hyung." Jungkook inquiries, eating his cookies.

"He knows her quite well." Yerin answers for Jin . "Jin was the one who brought her in."

The men turns their heads towards the said man, expecting an answer with mouths full of delicious food, their cheeks hanging low.

Jin nods. "That's why you have to take good care of her. She's a hard-"

Words cut of by the slam of the door opening, jin groans.

He hates it when he is cut off like this.

"Inspectors! He's here. Chief is here." One of the rookies literally yells, looking like a mess with his hair everywhere and blazer undone.

"Calm down! Jackson. And your late, again." Namjoon sighs.

The rookie of two years smiles cheaply. "I had a date with my girlfriend."

"In the early morning." Hoseok raise his brows.

"No! Last night." The male rubs the back of his neck, cheeks shying with a light pink.

"Oh god!" Yoongi turns away in disgust and continues eating his food while jin almost chokes on his coffee.

"I hope you had a good time last night, Jackson." Taehyung giggles, Jimin follows after like a pervert while Jungkook just eats.

Like always, he doesn't give a fuck.

Namjoon stares back blankly. Before his mind could trail somewhere else, he clears his throats.

"Thanks Jackson! You can go now. And make sure you won't be late again."

Jackson bows before running off somewhere at the back.

The men stood up, fixing their hair and uniforms when Yerin speaks.

"I told you guys to welcome them warmly." The woman rubs her temple, looking completely and honestly done with them.

"We are. We dusted the whole place last night, noona." Taehyung exaggerates.

Yerin throws her hands up in defeat before walking in the kitchen which was located on the corner of the giant expanse.

"Jiminie, she didn't like our cleaning." Taehyung sulks while Jimin pats his back.

"Don't worry baby! Our work will be admired one day." Jimin purses his lips.

The door swings open, revealing a man in suit, making everyone in the rooms to straighten their backs and solute the elder man who smiles like a kitten.

"Hello my hardworking Inspectors!" The Chief Superintendent General greets.

All the men present greets back respectfully. Yerin snortes from behind the counter when she spots Yoongi's serious face and straight back.

"Let's just get to the point."

Of course!

"I know you all heard about the rookie and I know it's all of a sudden for you individuals but i have decided this with the other chiefs three months ago, when Jin retired."

"Speaking of him! Hello Jin. It's good to see you back and visiting the gentlemen here."

Jin smiles back. "It's good to be back, Chief."

Bang Chief hums in approval. "As i was saying, i have brought her with me. She's a trusting inspector and have many skills. So, I expect you all to respect her as an individual. Inspector! Please come in."

The door opens for the ninth time today but this time it was opens more calmly and in walks a woman.

The men present jaw drops to the floor, eyes looking like they would pop out of their sockets.

"Hello Inspectors."

No way!

"I'm kwon jinhee. The new rookie."

I mad a new cover for the book. It took me awhile to find pictures with them in uniforms but I managed to find them. And also, i wanted to add the other important cast on the cover too but it looked too messy and fed up. So maybe next time.
