"What's the plan, Indie?" Bella's voice came from the back of my Range Rover, which has been parked in front of Evan's house for the last five minutes. "We lure him outside, Isla takes grabs his feet, I grab his arms, you kick his balls?"

"We're not here to assault him, Bella!" I breathed at her through my clenched jaw. She shrugged her shoulders and brought her hands up halfway before dropping them back down.

"Why not? He's an asshole," Isla agreed with Bella. I loved them for it, true ride or dies. Even though I knew they were mostly kidding, they wouldn't hesitate to back me up if I really asked them to.

I rested my head on the steering wheel, this was not how I imagined this night would go. I practically bolted from Chase's house once he told me the rumours, barely saying goodbye to him nor his entire family who was sitting in the living room. I'd have to offer them one hell of an apology for my embarrassing behaviour if I ever planned on working on our project at Chase's house again.

"Okay. I'm going," I muttered, glancing at the girls. "I'll leave it running, I'm almost certain I'm going to want a get away car after this conversation."

"Remember what we said, don't let him sweet talk you, don't let him flip the script on you, don't let him give a vague answer, it's either a yes or a no." Bella told me softly, running over the points we had already gone over.

"If he admits to it, don't wait to hear his side," Isla added, her fingers bending into air quotes as she finished her sentence. "They always fucking say that."

I gave them a small smile, ran my fingers through my hair quickly, nodded and exited the car.

I walked up the long pathway that led to Evan's front door. The house was a modern style mansion, with large windows and angular architecture. I rang the doorbell when I arrived at the door, hearing the shouts of what was no doubt the entire football team coming from inside. Evan's parents basically gave him free reign of the house, they were both high power lawyers who worked in the city. It didn't take long before the front door swung open.

"Hey babe. I didn't think you were still coming." Evan answered the door with his signature smirk covering his face. He had a bottle of beer in one hand. I didn't answer, I just pushed passed him and made my way to the stairs, walking up them, not glancing towards the large multimedia room that the rest of the guys were lounging in. I was just about to enter his room when I heard Evan hollering to his friends.

"She can't get enough of me, boys. I'll be down in an hour... maybe two." Followed by hooting and whistling.

I stormed into his room, not daring to sit on the bed, instead standing in the middle of the room and closing my eyes. I tilted my face towards the ceiling and breathed through my anger. It only took Evan a minute to join me in the bedroom. I looked towards him and watched as he stalked towards me, his arms outstretched.

"Stop." I put both of my hands in front of me, my palms facing him. Evan stopped just as he was a foot or so away from me, confusion on his face. "Is it true?"

His face didn't change. "Is what true, babe?"

"You know what."

Evan sighed and brought both of his hands up to the sides of his head. "Who told you?"

"It doesn't matter. Is it true?"

"Babe listen- it wasn't..."

I cut him off, my voice elevating louder. "Is. It. True?"

He slowly stepped towards me, bringing his hands down to rest on the tops of my shoulders, his blue eyes boring into mine. "I was going to tell you, Indie. Just hear me out."

I shrugged my shoulders, releasing his grip on me. I walked passed him, forcing my eyes not to look at his face and staring at the door in front of me. I didn't stop until I was in the doorway, when I paused but kept my eyes facing forwards, not turning back to look at him.

"We're done Evan. It's over." I told him, keeping my voice steady and firm. I slammed the door behind me, leaving him alone in the room. I wanted to run as fast as my feet would take me out of his stupid house, but I willed my body to walk calmly down the stairs. I could hear Evan following me, pleading with me to stop and listen to him. I didn't, as I walked past the room filled with the football team, feeling all of their eyes watching me. I reached the front door, opening it and not bothering to shut it as I allowed myself to run to my car.

Isla and Bella were silent as I climbed into the driver's seat and threw my seatbelt over my chest, buckling it. Evan ran down the walkway, and I quickly locked the doors as he reached my car, pulling on my door handle. He slammed both of his hands against my car window, yelling my name. I stepped on the gas, looking straight ahead as I pulled out of his driveway.

"Sleepover?" Bella finally muttered from the backseat after a couple minutes of silence as I drove towards my house.

"Margaritas?" Isla added, her voice calm and collected.

"I never liked Chelsea anyways. I always knew she was a sneaky bitch." Bella slurred from her position on the couch. She was flipped upside down, her legs in the air and her head dangling off the edge.

I snorted, bring my glass to my lips as I took a sip of my fifth margarita. "It's not on her. I mean, clearly making out with someone's boyfriend isn't a great move, but she didn't owe me anything. This is all on Evan."

Isla bounced into the room with the blender pitcher, refilling all three of our glasses. "Whatever, Evan was a loser anyways."

I giggled. "You know what? I think this needs to be Instagram official."

Bella shot me a worried look, swinging her legs down from the back of the couch, which caused her to roll onto the ground, landing face first as her legs quickly followed and scorpioned over her. She looked up at me from the floor while Isla and I bursted out in laughter at her.

"I.... can't.... breathe," I gasped out through my fits of giggles, sinking down from the couch to the floor beside Bella, who was also collapsing in her own fit of laughter. "You're hammered," I said while bringing a shaky finger up to point at her.

"Indie, we're all hammered," Isla giggled from beside me.

"Ah, that's true." I agreed, hearing the slurring in my words. I sat up and rested my back against the couch. I dug my phone out from the crease of the cushion from which it had fallen into it.

"He still calling?" Bella asked, glancing over to my phone which was flashing Evan's name.

"This makes call... 47." I rolled my eyes as I declined the call. "I'm blocking him."

"Damn, you're serious about this then," Isla said, looking surprised.

"Of course I am. He cheated on me, and who knows if this is even the first time. He's probably done it before, he was just stupid enough to do it in public this time," I told them as I blocked Evan's number, thanking the heavens when the buzzing stopped.

"If you make it Instagram official, you can never go back. You know your followers will call your ass out on it if you ever post about him again," Bella said as she brought her arm up to stroke my shoulder.

"I know. That's exactly what I want," I muttered as I pulled up my Instagram profile, scrolling down and deleting all the photos of Evan and I. There wasn't too many, but I paused as I got to the first photo of us that I posted on my page. We were at the beach, and he had just asked me to be his girlfriend. I was looking up at him, my eyes filled with admiration as he smiled down at me. I remember that day so clearly, it felt like everything was perfect. What an asshole. Delete.

"There. It's done, all evidence of our relationship, gone," I said as I threw my phone back on the ground.

"Um Indie, have you checked his page?" Isla asked me, her voice wary. I shook my head before throwing my head over her shoulder, looking down to her phone which she was peering at.

"Are you fucking serious?!" Bella whispered, looking down at her phone as well, clearly seeing the same thing that we are.

Evan had posted a picture of the two of us from a party a couple weekends ago, his arm wrapped around my neck as I pressed my lips to his cheek.

"The road might be bumpy, but it's worth the journey when I'm with you. My forever."

Posted 37 minutes ago.

"This calls for drastic measures," Isla broke the silence, we had all been staring at the picture with our mouths open. "Let's go."

After a quick trip to my closet, we were dressed in matching silk PJ sets that we had bought last year for one of the footballs teams "Lingerie Parties." That should have been the first red flag. The set consisted of tight shorts, and baby doll camis, with lace trim. My set was red, Isla's was black and Bella's was white. I grabbed my tripod and ring light, setting them up in the living room.

"What's the vibe?" Bella asked, trying to set the tone of the picture we were taking.

"Simple," I said as both of my best friends looked to me, "happy."

I set my phone on the tripod and turned on the self timer, joining Bella and Isla as they stood a couple of feet away. I threw my arms around their necks as I stood in the middle of them, watching as the timer counted down.

"Remember when Bella face planted off my couch earlier?" I whispered as I looked at both of them, my face creeping into a smile just at the memory. It only took a couple of seconds before we all had our heads thrown back, laughing at the memory. We didn't stop even as the picture was taken, pulling each other into a three way hug and continuing to laugh.

"Alright, alright, let's see if we need to retake it." I said, pulling away and making my way over to the tripod. I grabbed my phone and opened the picture we had just taken, Isla and Bella over each of my shoulders, waiting to inspect it.

The picture was amazing. The lighting was perfect. We all had our heads thrown back, laughing up at the ceiling. You could tell it wasn't one of those fake laughter pictures, as the amusement was gleaming in both Bella's and mines eyes, Isla's eyes had drifted closed. Our arms were wrapped around each other. It was perfect.

"Alright, I'm posting it." I said as I took a moment to think of a caption.

"Who needs a boyfriend when I've already found my SOULMATES. #single."

I tagged both of their accounts, and my fingers hovered over the 'Share' button.

"You sure you want to post that?" Isla gently asked from beside me. "You know it's going to blow up right?"

"He deserves it." I slurred, my head starting to spin from the alcohol, my fingers crashing down on the button. I threw my phone over my shoulder, not even sure where it landed.

"Alexa, adjust the volume to 10." I threw my hands up and started dancing to the music, I didn't need to confirm with the girls that there was no way we were going to school tomorrow.
