"Charlie, stop that"

"Stop what? I'm not doing anything"

We were having dinner with Ms.Gray and Charlie was being as horny as usual and rubbing my thigh under the table.

"Charlie" I warned.

"What?  What are you gonna do?" She dared.

The answer was not a damn thing.

"You're being mean" I whined, sneaking a glance at Ms.Gray in the kitchen before resting my head on her shoulder.

"Charlie stop being such a pervert and leave the poor girl alone!" Ms.Gray called, back still turned to us.

"I'm not doing anything!" She protested, single hand raised while the other still caressed my thigh.

"Yeah right"

Ms.Gray brought the food out and sat it on the table before sitting down across from us.

"So how have you two been? I haven't really had time to check in, work's been pretty hectic lately"

"We've been good-"

"I cry myself to sleep every night because Gia's leaving for college in two weeks-"

We said at the same time and Ms.Gray looked as if she didn't know who to focus on.

"Charlie has...attachment issues" Ms.Gray said gently, Charlie scoffed.

"That's putting it lightly, I don't know if you remember this but at my dad's funeral I tried to jump into the grave" She laughed wholeheartedly.

"That's why your dress was caked with mud" The realization was even funnier.

"Yeah, I was half way down but my mom dragged me back to her side so quickly"

"You're an embarrassment" Ms.Gray said blandly, piling food onto her plate.

"I'm your embarrassment"

"That's true" She agreed.

"I can't believe you did that"

"Alot of the things I do are unbelievable" Charlie said smugly.

"Just curious, why are you both home on a Saturday night?" Ms.Gray peered at us curiously,  one hand firmly clasped under her chin and the other gripping her fork.

Charlie gaped at her mother.

"Can't a girl spend time with her mother? "

Ms.Gray stared right back, unimpressed.

"I'm sure Gia would like to be doing something else"

"Oh no it's okay" I protested softly.

"See, we're fine" Charlie backed.

"You  are not fine, you need to take her out more, especially because she's leaving for college soon"

"After dinner find somewhere to go and don't come back until at least 1am"

"Are you throwing us out?" Charlie asked, disbelief shrouded in the raise of her eyebrows.

"You're teenagers, act like it. You're home more often than I am" Ms.Gray grumbled and I couldn't help my laugh, hiding it behind a cough so Charlie wouldn't get any more upset.

"Wow, nice to know you value the time you have with me before I die" Charlie dramatically slammed her hands on the table before moving stuff on her plate around grumpily.

"You're perfectly healthy" Ms.Gray responded almost as if it were instinct.

"It would be nice to go somewhere,yeah?" I rubbed her shoulder in consolation.

"You're siding with her? This is outrageous, my own girlfriend, you're supposed to be on my side" She ranted.

"And I am I'm just saying"

She huffed, shoveling food into her mouth right after.

"We can just go to mines after, no ones home" I whispered, cupping my hand to her ear. Charlie's face lit up.

"What a great idea you proposed mother,we'll be leaving now" Charlie got up, grabbing my hand and starting for the door.

"We haven't even finished dinner Charlie" I laughed loudly, sending an apologetic look to Ms.Gray.

"We'll order food after" her eyes scanned me and I could immediately tell she was hungry but not for food.

"What's got you so excited?" Ms.Gray asked from the door way, watching as Charlie eagerly opened my door before rounding to the driver's side.

"Oh you know, just date night" She hummed happily.

"Sure" Ms.Gray responded dryly.

"Sorry, see you tomorrow!" I waved at her as charlie pulled onto the road.

"So I supposed this isn't a date night?"

"Nope, this is a me,you no clothes kinda night. Maybe tomorrow though"  She grinned.

I just never know how any chapter is going to go and I love that.
