I woke up the next day in Chases arms. He was still asleep. Golly last night was incredible. Flashbacks kept replying in my head and I shivered.

I tried to get Chase's arms off me with out waking him up but it was impossible. I felt him stir. I removed his hands but he pulled me in closer and tighter.

"Where do you think you're going. I haven't gotten my fill on you. I don't think I ever will" he said as he gave me a kiss. I kissed him back.

Then I pulled away. "I have to check on Alex. We didn't go home last night." 

"I texted Ashely. She said everything was fine" he said.

"We should still head back. We've been gone a long time." He was on top of me looking into my eyes.

"We will. We just need to go a few more rounds" he said with a wicked smile and kissed me. We successfully went thru 3 more rounds.

We arrived back at Chase's home around 6 pm. Kathy had dinner waiting for us.

When I walked in the front door Alex ran into my arms. "Mommy! I'm so glad you're home! I missed you so much." He said.

"What about me bud?" Chase asked him.

"I missed you too but I missed my mommy more" Alex said. I laughed.

"I missed you more honey." I said kissing him in the cheek. "Did you have fun fishing yesterday?" I asked him.

"Yes mommy it was so much fun. Then when we got home, we all went to Chuck E. Cheese. It was so much fun! Can we all go together?" He asked excited.

"Yes honey we'll go some other day" I said to him.

"Ok mommy."

"Come on, let's go have dinner." We all sat in the dinning room.

"So how was spending time with daddy? Are you guys getting married now." He asked.

I chocked on my food "no honey, your daddy and I just talked. It's too soon to know what's going to happen." I answered him.

"Surrreeee you guys just "talked"" Ashley emphasized with her fingers. I slapped her on the shoulder and she laughed.

"So Abby we were thinking. What do you think about driving up to our little hometown? It would be nice to show Alex around. Don't you think?" Kathy asked me.

I would like to visit my parents grave. "Yeah that sounds like fun." I told her.

"Great how about we leave tomorrow?" She suggested.

"Yeah that's fine by me" I said.

Alex got really excited! "Yay I get to see where you grew up mommy!" Alex said.

"Yes honey, you sure will." I said.

We cleaned up and I tucked Alex into bed and got his luggage ready as well as mine.

I was in my room thinking. It was going to be hard to go back home. There were still memories of what happened back home.

I heard a knock at my door. I went and opened it and saw Chase. "What are you....." before I could finish the sentence, he came in picked me up and kissed me. He dropped me on the bed and then we went for another round.

In the morning I went to go wake Alex up. We got ready and before we knew it, we were on our way home.

Alex fell asleep on me the whole way. He woke up as soon as we arrived. "Wow this house is huge. Almost as huge as daddy's." Alex said.

"Yup it sure is" I said.

"So you lived here after grandma and grandpa died?" He asked me.

"Yes honey I did." I sighed.

"Can you show me the house?" he asked. I hesitated but I nodded.

"Why don't I show him the house" Ashley said.

"Yay. Is that ok mommy?" I nodded and Alex grabbed Ashley's hand and he ran inside.

"We'll see you inside" Mrs. Mathews said. She was followed by Mr. Mathews.

Chase came to my side "I know your last memories here weren't good. But remember all the good times we've had and all the good time that are coming" he said. He smiled at me I smiled back as best I could. This was hard.

He held my hand and led me into the house.

I looked around and took it all in. It was exactly the same.

Alex came running down the stairs. "Mommy can I go into the pool?" He asked.

"You would have to ask your grandparents." I said.

"Oh course he can" Mr. Mathews said. "This house is also his" he said.

"Ok let's get your suit on." He held my hand and I led him into my old room.

"Was this your room mommy?" He asked.

"Yes it was" I said. They haven't moved a thing. Everything was exactly as I left it. I thought they would turn it I to something else.

Alex was in the pool and I was sitting on a chair with Ashley, watching him. 

"So are you and my brother back together Abbs?" She asked me.

"I honestly don't have a clue Ash. We are taking things slow. I don't want to rush into anything" I said.

"You two were meant to be together Abbs."

I sighed, " I don't know Ash. By the way I never apologized to you. I'm sorry for the way I treated you guys. For not giving you a chance to explain. I don't expect you to forgive me. I'm sorry Ash." I said.

"Abbs, I could never be mad at you. We're best friends remember." She said with tears in her eyes. I immediately started crying, as did she.

Chase came outside. "Ok break it up you too. No more water works. We're supposed to be celebrating." He said.

Alex came up to us. "Daddy will you come swim with me?" He asked Chase. He nodded. "What about you mommy?" He asked.

"No, maybe some other time honey." I said.

"Please mommy." He said.

"No honey next time" I said.

"Aww come on daddy. Help me convince her." He told Chase.

"I have an idea" Chase said. He looked at me weird and started walking towards me.

"Chase what are you doing?" I stood up and slowly backed away. He ran after me and picked me up. "Chase No!" Then he ran into the pool and jumped in.

Alex jumped in after us. "Yay we're all together! Come in aunt Ash!" Chase yelled.

Ashley laughed and ran into the pool. We were all laughing and having a good time.

Kathy came outside "what are you all doing? I thought Alex was the only child here" she said laughing.

We all went inside and took showers. Alex was scared to stay in the guests rooms because they all looked "creepy" so he stayed with me.

The following day I took him to see my parents grave. It's been a while since I've been here. I started crying. "Don't cry mommy. You know grandma and grandpa are angles in the sky. They are looking after us" he said.

I smiled at him, "you're right honey. They are taking care of us." I said.
