The week went by pretty fast. Before I knew it, it was New Years Eve. I avoided Michael and Tiffany all week. I would mostly spend my days with Ash. The down side was that I didn't see much of Chase.

Ashley's parents had a business New Years party to attend to, so Chase and Ashley thru a party of their own.

Ashley was helping me get ready like she always does. She of course made a dress especially for me and helped me with my hair and makeup. I was once again unrecognizable. I didn't know who the girl staring back at me in the mirror was.

Ashley looked stunning as she always did. We headed downstairs and the party was in full motion. Ashley took me out to the dance floor and handed me a cup of Champagne. I drank the whole thing.

Ash and I were having so much fun. I haven't seen Chase around . A guy asked Ashley to dance. She looked at me. I nodded and smiled at her. It was my chance to lo for Chase.

The house was filled with people. I had a hard time getting around. "Looking for someone?" I heard Chase say from behind. I turned around and smiled at him.

"Hi there stranger" I told him. He pulled me to the dance floor. I tried to refuse but he made me go anyway.

I was actually having a good time. Then the countdown started. People were yelling 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1! Happy New Year, we heard all around. Then Chase grabbed me and kissed me! I kissed him back. The music came back on and we were dancing again.

Chase received a text. "Hang on. I'll be right back" he said. I nodded and went to the kitchen. Just then Michael came up to me. I internally groaned.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"Wow! Calm down there tiger. Chase told me to tell you to meet him in his room." He told me.

Well that was weird. I walked up to his room, I opened the door and what I saw next stunned me.

Chase was on his bed with Tiffany naked on top of him. Chase looked up at me. I didn't waste a second. I ran out of there as fast as I could.

Ashley caught me. I was headed to the door. "What happens Abbs?" I couldn't get a word out. I shook my head and ran away from her.

I needed air. I ran outside. I felt like I couldn't breath. I ran to the pool house. I couldn't be around people. I sat down and broke down crying.

Why would Chase do this to me? I thought he loved me. I needed to get out of here. Then I remember Caleb lived about an hour and a half away from here.

I called an Uber and made my way to see Caleb.
