The week went by in a blur. It was finally Friday and we were done with the semester. It was Christmas break.

I tried to talk to Caleb all week. He would ignore my calls and he completely ignored me at work. I really wanted to talk to him. I wanted to make things right. He just wouldn't let me.

It was Friday and it was my last shift  at the Cafe. It closed when the school was on break. Caleb decided to switch his last shift so I didn't get to see him today.

Chase picked me up when my shift ended. Thankfully Ashley didn't come. I gave Chase a kiss. During Ashley's visit we had to be careful. We just weren't ready to tell our family just yet.

"Hey you." I said smiling at him and giving him another kiss.

"Hey, god i missed these" Chase said giving me a lot more kisses.

"I know I did too!" I said smiling at him.

We drove home and Ashley greeted me from the couch. "Hey Abbs! Sorry I didn't go pick you up. Chase here said I was annoying and didn't let me go" she said sticking her tongue out at Chase.

"You are annoying" Chase said.

"No im not! Right Abbs!" She said looking at me. I laughed and went over to her.

"Maybe just a little!" I said smirking and I hugged her. Chase laughed and walked to his bed room.

"Abbs how could you?" Ashley pretended to be offended.

"I still love you though!" I said still hugging her. She laughed and then suggested we have a movie marathon. She wanted to go out clubbing again, but she knew there was no way Chase would let us. So we decided on a movie marathon.

We woke up the next morning and drove back to our hometown. It was nice being home.

As soon as we arrived Kathy greeted all of us with hugs and kisses. "Oh how I missed you all! I'm glad you guys are home for a few weeks!" She said with excitement.

I headed upstairs and went to my room. I unpacked quickly and took a nap.

I woke up from my nap and went downstairs. I saw Chase sitting on the couch. "Where is everyone?" I asked. He looked up to look at me and smiled.

"Good morning sleepy head." He said still smiling at me. "They went out to run some errands. It's just us for now. Do you want some dinner?" He asked me. I shook my head I wasn't really hungry these days. In fact I would barley eat much.

"You should eat something. You look really pale. It must be stress from the exams but still."

"Yeah you're probably right. I'm really just not hungry. I promise to get back on track while I'm here." I said.

"Yeah, it looks like you've lost some weight. I don't want you getting sick" Chase said giving me a serious look.

"I promise to take better care" I said and leaned in and gave him a quick kiss.

Then we heard the garage door open. Ashley came running into the door. She smiled at me as soon as she saw me. "Abbs! You're finally up!" I smiled back at her.

"Yeah I was a bit tired that's all." I said.

She frowned. "Yeah you've been really tired lately. You also look very pale and have you lost weight?" She asked with a worried expression.

"That's exactly what I just said." Chase stated.

I rolled my eyes at him. "I'm fine Ash. I'm just tired from school. I'm be as good as new in a few days" I said giving her a reassuring smile.

She gave me an unsure look "fine but if you need anything. Anything at all, let me know!" She said.

"Of course Ash!" I said giving her a reassuring smile.

Mr. and Mrs. Mathew walked in with a few grocery bags. I offered to help but Kathy never lets me do anything.

I was sitting on the couch with Chase and Ashley watching a movie when Chase got a text. "Oh sweet." He said.

I looked up at him confused. "What's up?" I asked him.

"Michael is coming to visit. He can stay her right mom?" He turned and asked his mother.

"Of course dear." She smiled at him.

"I'm so excited!" Chase said. I smiled at him but I wasn't exactly happy.

Michael was Chase's friend from high school. They were both the big men on campus, but there was something about Michael that didn't feel right. He always gave me the creeps whenever I saw him. Something about him seemed off. I would never tell Chase tho. He was his best friend and there was no point in mentioning anything.

We went back to watching the movie. Like I always did, I blacked out at some point during the movie.
