X *Nikolai Gabrielli POV*

I turn around as I walk out of the door and turn to the mother of my child, I smile and look into her eyes as she is holding Michelangelo who had just woken up. I had received a call from one of my many employees saying there had been a problem in one of my buildings. I brush away her hair out of her face and ruffle Mickey's hair.

"Papa, do you have to go?"

He brought his hand up to his eyes so he can rub the sleepiness away.

"Yes Piccolo, I don't want to be but Daddy has to go to work. Maybe later you and mommy can come over to my place and we can have a sleep over. Only if mommy allows it."

Michelangelo looks towards Camden all excitedly.

"Can we mommy? Can we? I wanna sweep at daddy's pwace!"

Camden smiles at her son and kisses his cheek. She looked towards me and smiles.

"Call me later so you can tell me where you live and at what time we can come over. I will bring something for us to eat, if that is alright with you?"

I couldn't believe that she had agreed to come over. I smile.

"You already know where I live. I haven't moved from the penthouse that we had shared. Come over around 8 tonight, I have a meeting around 7:30 but I will be as quick as possible. Stanley will be there so he can let you in. The password to the garage hasn't changed either if you haven't forgotten."

She nodded and smiled.

"We will be there."

I nod and turn to leave but Camden's hand stopped me when she grabbed my hand. I turned to look at her and she got on her tiptoes and planted a small sweet kiss on my lips. It was small and short, so short I couldn't return the kiss. She pulled away too quickly.

"You better go or you will be late to your meeting."

She had that smirk that I always secretly loved but always annoyed me. I roll my eyes and kiss her forehead.

"I will see you both later."

Michelangelo waved goodbye as I turned to my car and got in. I drove off and went to my meeting. The meeting consisted of my business managers and my lawyers. While the discussion had been coming to a close, the door opened and in walked the one person I did not want to see today. My day had been amazing, especially after spending most of it with my son. This woman had to come and ruin my day, give me the patience to deal with her shit today. Her red hair had been put nicely on top of her head in a nice braid. Her outfit was decent and well maintained. She had given me the look I knew all too well. I wrapped up the meeting and waited for everyone to leave. She came into my office and sat down on the chair in front.

"What do you want Candace?"

She sighs and looks at her perfectly manicured nails. She mumbles something but I cannot quite hear her.

"What was that?"

"Conrad is engaged."

I roll my eyes. Of course it had something to do with Conrad. I stand up from behind my desk and gather everything to leave. My family is waiting for me at home, where they belong.

"So you aren't going to say anything? Not going to help me?"

I roll my eyes again.

"I told you, I am not going to help you with Conrad, you had your chance but you went and ruined everything. Plus I told you that it was too late. I knew he would end up marrying the woman he is with now. Now if you don't have anything else to waste my time, I have a date tonight and I am already running late."

I showed her the door which she went through after getting up from the seat. I followed her out and walked her to her car, I am a gentleman. I got into my car and drove home. Not knowing what I will be expecting when I get home.
