A knock struck the door. Again. Mr.Attley rose up to open it, but I quickly paused him. Before I could initiate the code, first came in the knocker's voice, "Babies are asleep."

That is a passive code where the knocker says the monologue without expecting a reply, in contrast to active one where the granter initiates the dialogue for a predefined reply.

"Let them be," I reassured my presence and opened the door only to my astonishment. It was no Raj Verma, but Ranvinder Singh.

"Sorry, Mr.Verma is badly injured and is on his way to hospital. He gave me this passive code to let you out to transport."

A suspicion placed my hand behind my waist to the concealed holster.

"It's okay. Just a few mins back, I was assigned your escort as I was nearest to the spot," reassured Officer Singh.

Security is no more a blindfolded service. The secured has to know full details of the securer. Immediately, a Posteo mail ringtone sounded on my wrist phone. On pressing the fingerprint unlock, it read the confirmation message directly into my earplugs.

"How did they know I am here ?"

"It's not about you, Sir. It's just another Hindu-Muslim riot that broke out, or atleast how it is presented."

"Presented !"

"Our intelligence suspects the child trafficking was a terrorist's plot for training new soldiers. We spoiled their attempt, so they retaliated."

"This is no retaliation. Responding in few minutes, in the next station is plan B," I shared my interpretation, "Catch anyone and you can trace back to whoever incited this act." "Whoever it is, I've shared my report to Indian Defence, but this little officer has not got this info yet," I thought to myself.

Mr. Attley made some calls and came forward, "Let me go, appease the mass. Rest is already taken care of. I am the only leader at the right time at right place. Luck is on our side." Saying this, he went out.

"You let him out. He won't survive a minute," I couldn't stop comparing him with me.

"I've got my orders. He'd be okay there with his bodyguards in place. The Muslims listen to him because they want a new land, they call it Pakistan, and he is in favour of that. 'Partition brings peace,' that's his slogan," Ravinder pointed out to a floating pamphlet, "though some of his own CJP members are not of same view."

Indeed, Mr. Attley pacified the mass rage and thus, ruined the Plan-B of the local terrorists. Soon I was on my way to Mohenjodaro for the international skyrail.
