"I fucking hate it here," I said as I sat in my first period chair waiting for the announcements to start.

And why the fuck is people looking at me all sad like.

"Boo tf y'all want from me," I said bucking at the class.

"You ain't got to be mean cause your lil boyfriend died," lil boyfriend I gotta big man dumb hoe.

"How he died if he texting me now," I said bucking back at her.

Just than the announcements came on and I practically tuned them out. Until I heard the words death and then Kalvin.

I got up and walked out the classroom going to Dee class but she was already in the hallway.

"I'm sorry Dee," I said hugging her tight.

"He didn't even do anything to nobody tho," she said crying in my shoulder. At that moment Luci came breathing hard, like she was running.

She called out for Dee making her turn around and reach for her pulling away from me.

I pulled out my phone from my pocket texting G telling him to come pick us up.

"Why are y'all not in class," our principal asked before she noticed our faces and nodded walking away.

We sat there for about 30 minutes until G texted me that he was here. "Come on yall," I said as we all stood.

We made it outside and he came out and grabbed Dee. "Come on get in the car," he told me and Luci. I grabbed her hand and she barely wanted to move. I pulled her harder and she started to move.

"Imma drive yall to ZP house."

I nodded as he was rubbed my head. And we road in complete silence. Once we made it to ZP house Luci jumped out the car and she grabbed Dee out.

I was about to get out but G pulled my hand back. "What's wrong with y'all," he asked still holding my hand.

"Our friend Kalvin died and Dee was real close to him. Shit they would be dating if Dee wasn't so scared."

"Scared of what?"

"Of you, him, death, and sex," I said listing a couple of things that scared her.

"Me and sex tf scary about me?"

"You'd get older brother that's not nice enough what's not to be scared of." I said getting out the car trying to go in the house.

I felt G presence behind me and before we walked in he whispered in my ear. "I got to tell you something later," I nodded my head and opened the door.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT," Dee yelled as she seen us.

I was about confused ass hell. "I LOVED HIM AND I WANTED TO BE WITH HIM," she yelled throwing things at G.

"What's going on?" I asked and Luci just looked at me staring.

"G killed Kalvin," she said confusing me.

"How do you know that," I asked confused on when they was together for him to tell her this.

"I was on the phone when he shoot him," she said and I looked at G and he seemed unfazed.

He walked over to the couch by ZP rubbing his hands down his face as Dee was sobbing on the ground now.

"Dee he wasn't supposed to love you," he said rudely.

Now why tf would he say that shit when he know she hurting.

"He was supposed to make sure y'all was okay while I was gone them years, but he fucked up."

"But he loved me and I loved him," she said sounding exhausted.

"Fuck that he wasn't shit anyways pussy ass boy," G said as ZP passed him a blunt.

"ZP YOU KNEW HE WAS GOING TO DO THIS," Luci yelled sounding heated.

"I ain't knew nothing bout this shit here," ZP said snapping and mugging Luci.

"Your his best friend what don't you know about him tho."

"It's not like we have sleepovers and talk about shit," ZP said as they kept going back and forth. I tuned them out and looked at G.

He really just sitting there unfazed, either he's crazy or deluded. He looked at me through a low gaze raising his eyebrow. He nodded for me to come here. I walked over and sat in his lap leaning back on him.

"What did you mean he wasn't supposed to love her," I asked him as he leaned the blunt over to Death.

"I told him to watch over Dee while we was gone all them years and then y'all but he betrayed me," by doing what?

"So he betrayed you by falling in love with Dee," I said confused and irritated.

He shook his head no and I tried to edge him to explain but he wouldn't.

"But G how would you feel if I just killed Sky," Dee said shutting everybody up.

"I'll shoot you," he said almost immediately.

What the fuck is wrong with them? "Just like you shot your dad?" Dee asked surprising everybody but Death.

"Yall need to relax," Death said sounded the most serious I ever heard him.

"I shoot to kill so if I shot him he would have been dead," G said sitting up moving me with him.

"That's all you do is think about killing people he probably didn't even do nothing unforgivable," Dee said getting up and moving to the back room.

I feel so bad because Dee really loved that man but what can I do I love this man.

"If you knew you would be thanking me," G said huffing quietly. I had no thoughts because I loved Kalvin.

"Did he die quick?" I asked surprising everybody.

"Did he die quick? Why would it matter," Dee said.

I looked at G and he nodded his head. "Head shots first," ZP said dogging Luci as she tried to lunge at her.

"Yall quit," Death said sounding all father like. Must be one of the reasons his name is death.

"He dead do Dee you gone have to get over it. Luci you gotta understand that maybe she didn't know all the details. And Sky don't go home and contemplate what you should do as a friend or boyfriend," but I'm not a boyfriend.

I raised my hand scared to say anything out loud. Death nods his head at me signaling me to continue.

"But I'm not a boyfriend," I said as everybody busted out laughing.

"Thank You Sky the look on G face is magical," Dee said still on the floor but now laughing.

"I just got friend zoned."

"No it's complicated zoned cause he still in your lap," ZP said as she reaches for the blunt that is now a roach.

"Imma just have to up my game," yea that and this circle got a lot to work on.

Cause Dee may have just been laughing but I know that look in her eyes from earlier.

& there's a storm coming.
