Monday 9:18 p.m

My eyes open and I lay there looking at the ceiling for about 3 minutes.

I like to take time to gather my thoughts whenever I wake up.

It's therapeutic

I finally sit up and check my phone to see the time and my eyes widen.

Mi a sleep from after 2 straight to 9?
Although dah sleep deh did bad yuh fuck stillzzz. Mi never sleep suh good yet

I get up and head to bathroom, As I'm taking a shower, the warm water running down on my body feels so good. I'm never leaving

It takes about 30 minutes before I fight the urge to stay longer and finally, I decide to turn the water off.

I could stay in here forever

I get out the shower, wrap my towel around me and the first thing I did after getting out was my makeup, I do a light beat and it took about 15 minutes to finish.

I look in my drawers deciding what to wear and I take out a black mini blouse, black leather shorts, mesh stocking and a black boot.

It's now 10:20 and I decide to let my natural hair down, I have no time to install a wig.

Good ting mi have nice hair, My subconscious says.

I get dressed and as I'm about to put my boots on, My phone rings, I look at my phone and it's Candice.

"Yeah babe"  I answer

"A leave out now, yuh ready?"  Candice says

"Yeah me a put on mi shoes, just blow when yuh reach"

"Ah, see you soon mama"
She says before hanging up

I finish putting on my boots and I go in my jewelry box.

I put on my bracelets and chain before sitting on my bed, taking selfies and videos.

A couple minutes later, I hear a car honking outside. I close the curtains, turn off the lights and head outside closing the door behind me.

"Bomboclaaat, Girl stay real good!" Says Candice shouting through the window and her boyfriend Cj, in the driver's seat.

I blush and walk awkwardly towards the car. I don't know how to take a compliment at all!

It's kind of sad.

"Goodnight" I say when I enter the car

"Yuh couldn't say thanks or sumn?" Candice says feigning disgust

"Thanks girl, yuh know mi nuh know how fi act when somebody compliment me"

Candice chuckles, taking out her phone to snap us.

Its now 11:50 when we arrive at the club

The loud music is piercing through our ears as we enter, The colorful bright lights flashes from the ceiling on us and the wild crowd is singing and jumping to 'Gyal Code' by Topmann

"Girl take mi picho" I say before handing my phone to Candice

"Yeah girl, set good and look good" Candice says which boosts my confidence to take more pictures

"Before mi look pon dem, mek mi take yours"
I say, using my phone to take her pictures

"Suh gyal fi nice" I say hyping her up trying to give her the same confidence she gave me.

We finish taking pictures and start vibing to the music.

Candice orders a special. Our go to drink whenever we attend events like these.

We both drink and sing along to the songs that are playing, having a great time.

The Dj lowers the music
