"Come man Kenya, time fi yuh wake up"

A familiar voice says, shaking my shoulder

My head is pounding!
The bright light shining through the window makes me want to pluck my eyes out

I still feel a little nauseous but I manage to hold my head up to see who it is

It's Chef Jones

"Here, drink some chamomile tea. It's good for the hangover" She says and I pull my self up, taking the tea out of her hand

"Thank you"
I say and I take a sip

Perfect.

I breathe a little, gathering my thoughts before asking
"Where's Aaron?"

"He's on the road, him soon come man"

I pout a little

After what happened last night, I'm feeling more attached to him

He was genuinely concerned and the fact that he treated me with so much care last night

Really have mi head going.

"Jayden and Kiara still here?" I ask

"Yes, Kiara has a hangover too but it's not so bad and Jayden is there with her"

"Drink the tea and when you ready, come for the food. Me cook it from morning, you'll have to heat it up" She Adds

"Alright, thank you so much" I say and she nods before leaving the room

I take up my phone to call Aaron and he picks on the fifth ring

"Where are you" I ask in a soft tone

"Pon eh road a deal with sumn, yuh feel better?"

"No"

He hisses
"Mrs Jones give yuh food fi eat?"

"I just woke up, she give me chamimi tea"

He chuckles
"Chamomile tea Kenya"

I sigh
Mi not even wah laugh

"Soon reach home b, eat and go back go sleep"

"Ok"
I say before he hangs up and there's a knock on the door

"You can come Mrs Jones" I say but it's not her

It's Kiara

She giggles as soon as she sees my condition

"Yuh worst dan me" She says

"I know right. Draw dem curtain deh fi mi nuh please"

"No the light is good" She says

I sigh before taking another sip, finishing the tea before putting the cup on the bedside table

"Me body pain up, me head a kill me, me eye feel like it wah roll out a me face and me still nauseous"

"Oh my, the tea soon start work. A fi show say you really enjoy yuh self"

I laugh
"Me a go fi the food, you eat already?" I ask

"No, come on"
Kiara says and we head downstairs

Mrs Jones cook callaloo and fry dumpling with plantains

Mi cyah wait fi this!
I share it from the pot and put it in the microwave

Kiara laughs out

She turns her phone to me, showing when I was slow whining on Aaron and Jayden Grabbed her

I chuckle at the video and a FaceTime call comes in on her phone

"Mother-in-law💕"

She answers the call
"Hi my princess"
I hear a little voice on the phone

The microwave beeps and I take out my plate before putting in Kiara's

"No, doh give her any sweets"
Kiara says and I sit around the Counter and begin eating

The minutes goes by and Mrs Jones left when I tell her that I'm feeling a bit better

I sit in the couch, watching Tv when hear a car door shuts

My inner queen is celebrating but
Me a whul me composure

He pushes the front door open and I blush

Ya edyiat?
Stop it. Stop it.
Says my subconscious and I hide the smile

"How yuh feel?" He says before sitting beside me with a Dior bag in his hand

Oh?

"Better, what's that?" I say pointing to the bag and he sighs

"Yuh say something to me twice yesterday"

Mi remember... Just never bring it up

"The first time you say it, me tell me self say mi nuh wah hear it, mi nuh want yuh say it because you don't know the amount of danger your in just by being here with me. The second time yuh say it, you were drunk. That make me know say you really mean it because a drunk man's word is a sober man's thought. I suddenly stopped denying it because everyone deserves love, no matter how they choose to live their life and if your going to look pass all the wrongs and focus on the right, Then I'm more than happy to accept your love. You probably nuh remember saying it but it nuh come off a me mind ever since. I love you too"

He says handing me the dior bag and it has a note

"Of course me remember" I smile before kissing him and he deepens the kiss

"Mi tell yuh say ya go know when yuh love her enuh" Jayden chuckles and Aaron looks back

"And me did a medz say mi nah make yuh give me no more advice" Aaron says and they chuckle

I look in the bag and there's a little sack inside
I open it

"Awwww thank you" I say hugging him and he wraps his arms around me

"Yuh never affi do all a this enuh, yuh could a just tell me say yuh love me to when me tell yuh" I say chuckling

"I did it because I can" He says and I look up before kissing him

"Take wah yuh get girl, Mi tell Jayden say me love him and him run weh. Mi nuh hear back from him until 1 week time. Can you imagine...Love make him run weh, yuh see how man fool?" Kiara says and I burst out laughing

"Yuh run weh?" I ask Jayden who is looking at Kiara

"Jah jah" He says

We laugh and they sit on the couch

"Me a guh bathe and come out a the robe" I say and Aaron nods

I walk upstairs, going into the room and as soon as I step into the shower

I hear 'And I by Ciara' playing on the music box

I chuckle to my self and I turn the shower on

After a couple minutes, I get out and brush my teeth before changing into a tights and one of Aaron's shirt

I look at my face in the mirror

Time fi take off da wig yah and do me hair

Aaron comes in the room
"Yuh wah go beach?" He asks

"Sure, me go need fi stop and get a new bathsuit though"

"Ah"
He says before leaving the room and I start packing our towels, change of clothes, lotion and sunglasses

Aaron needs sunscreen
Him skin too light

I head downstairs to tell him that we need to stop to get sunscreen when I hear gun shots outside

It sounds like it's right at the gate where the security is

Aaron looks up as soon as he hears the shots

"Unuh go upstairs and lock eh door"
He says before Jayden takes a gun from the counter drawer and Aaron pulls one from his waist

Kiara pulls me up the stairs when she notices that I'm just staring at them and brings me to a room before closing it
