Aaron's POV*

"He's so fucking mean and for what? Literally, why would you come on your first day and give the worst impression? Then the man start smoke!" She says, emphasizing on 'smoke'

She's been ranting on since I picked her up

"Hear him......'Get yuh shit together Ms.Simonds'....Like dat did call fah?" She asks, looking over at me and I shake my head no

"So wah me fi do bout dat?" I ask and she hisses

"Nothing, nothing" She says in an irritated tone

I'm about to reply to her ignorance when I realize that the white Honda Accord that I drove pass at the Law firm has been trailing behind

"Jump pon eh back seat" I tell her and her brows are now knitted

"Why?"

"Yuh can just do wah me tell yuh fi do and save the questions for later?" I ask and she nods before stretching her legs around and moving to the backseat

I pull over at a bus stop and the car stops behind.

I draw the Kel-Tec from my waist and I rest it on my lap while looking through the right side mirror

"Aaron" She says in apprehensiveness

"Relax ma...Yuh safe"

I get out of the car and I aim at the windscreen

The car reverses and I shot at the tire, causing the car to skid

The driver slams the break before getting out with his two hands in the air

"Please, a me daughter me did a try get to. Please nuh kill me"

I hiss before putting the gun back in my waist

"Please sir, Me see yuh come pick her up from her workplace. Me nuh get the chance fi talk to her"

The car door opens and Kenya is now standing in front of me

She looks over to the man and her face softens

Kenya's POV*

"Kenya" He calls my name and I avert my eyes

What the fuck should I do?

What should I say?

Should I be angry?

Pity him?

My chest tightens and my breathing gets heavier

"B" Aaron calls and I look up

"Wah fi gwan?" He asks

I hesitate before looking back and his eyes are weepy

I sigh before walking over to him
"We can talk?" He asks

"Not right now but I'll give you my number" I say to him and he joyful takes his phone out of his pocket

Says my subconscious

I tell him my number before he saves it and puts it in his pocket

"Alright" He says and he's not staring at me

Awkward

He looks up and his eyes meet Aaron's

His face changes as if he's just remembering that he got shot at

"Is it ok if I call?" He asks

"That's why I gave you my number" I reply

He then tries to hug me and I take a step back
"No" I simply say before walking off

I get in the passenger seat and Aaron gets in after me

"Yuh good?" He asks and I nod

"When we get home, change into something comfortable...I'm going to show you something " He says before driving off

I get out of the car and I walk to the doorway while he parks

I don't get a chance to open the door as my mother decided to do so for me

"Are you upset?" She asks and I shake my head no

"Can we talk?"

Why does everyone want to 'talk?'

"No. I have to get ready... Maybe later"

"It nah take 5 minute" She says

"Mommy I'm not upset...I don't want to talk about it either, whatever you do is up to you. Just do it in your own space. It is very discourteous..." I tell her before walking to the elevator

The elevator opens after a few seconds and I walk to my room

Something comfortable.....

Aaron doesn't like to do simple things, like go to the movies or go out to eat

I go in the closet and I pick my outfit

As soon as I'm done changing, the room door opens

"Ready?" He asks

"Yeah, give me 2 more minute" I tell him and he nods

He looks at my outfit
"Yuh love wear me clothes? Me nuh have nothing fi me self again?"

I roll my eyes at him before putting my earrings in and spraying his cologne

He mumbles "Jah know? Mi really nuh have nothing fi me self"

"I'm ready" I tell him, ignoring his mumbling and I walk out of the room

I glance at him before he pulls over and my brows are knitted

"What?" He asks

"Me a try figure out where we a go" I reply and he smiles

"Yuh reach"

I look around confused and he chuckles

We get out of the car and he opens the gate before waiting for me to step over

"Wait, it say private property"

"Mine" He says and I smile

We continue to walk and the further we walk, the darker it gets and I begin to to shiver

The sound of waves crashing catches my attention and I suddenly have an idea of what's going to happen

I chuckle at my thoughts and he looks over at me

He stops and I do the same before looking down

We're on a cliff.

It's just a land and a body of water below us

I'm now back in my confused state

"Wah yuh think?" He asks

"Bout this?" I ask and he nods

"I'm not sure what you want to hear"

He chuckles

I look at him in curiosity

Cliff....
Water.....
Private property.....
Big space.....

I was planning on updating 3 chapters today but I got busy so you only get 1 tonight and the rest comes tomorrow ☹️

The pills are making me drowsy!
