Yes, this story has come to an end.

What did you all think of it?

And for all of you who knew who she was, you all also got to see a glimpse of Sarah as the bad guy, what did you all think of that?

Sarah Smith is, as she says herself to be, a neutral party. She can play for one side or the other and it just depends on which side she chooses any particular day. So, I wanted to emphasize that and let you all get a glimpse of her as one of the bad guys.

Thank you to everyone who voted, commented, or just read silently along. I hope you all enjoyed the book and I hope you continue to enjoy my works. I very much enjoy writing and it makes me so happy to see so many people enjoy the work I put out there.

Sorry this book took so long to finish, that was never my intention. But you know, life gets in the way even when you don't want it to.

Now, to get a few questions out of the way;

Will there be a sequel? Unknown. As of right now, I have no plans for one (I do have an idea in mind but that doesn't mean it'll actually happen) but in the future that could change.

Will we be seeing the characters again? Yes. Both Jackson Storm and Crystal Carver will be appearing in the Agents series. It'll be the third time for Jackson and the first time for Crystal. And yes, some of the other characters in the book will also be appearing either in the main series or in other spin-offs.

Bonus Chapters? Yes, there will eventually be bonus chapters for this book (all told through Jackson's point of view) however I still have to finish Agent 1's bonus chapters and Password Incorrect's Bonus chapters first. So, no bonus chapters for Catching the Storm for a while, but yes, they will happen. Plus, how interesting would it be to see things from Jackson's POV now that you all know what you know about him and his past?

Though, if I had written any chapters from Jackson's POV during the book that were not bonus chapters, it would have given too much away from the start. So, all of his POV had to be saved for bonus chapters.

Anyway, I'm sure most of you if not all of you have noticed the book cover attached to this chapter, so I guess I should address that too, right?

Hunter or Hunted is the next spin-off book being written for characters that either appear in the Agents Series or in one of the other spin-offs. In this case, Hunter or Hunted is taking two characters from the spin-offs and exploring their story, however, both characters will also be appearing in the Agents Series, this story will be taking place before their appearance into the series. Basically showing how they end up stuck together.

Any guesses as to which two characters those are?

Anyway, here's the description for the book:

Hunter or Hunted

I felt my anger soar as I processed his spiteful words. Who did he think he was? He would be dead if it wasn't for me. I could have left him for dead when I found him riddled with bullet holes. I should have left him for dead. He was so not worth the trouble he'd brought back into my life.

"You know," I started in a conversational tone. "I liked you better when you were unconscious and unable to talk."

His eyes sparked with fire. "Anything else I need to know?" He bit out sarcastically.

I crossed my arms over my chest and glared down at him from my place higher on the hill. "Yeah actually. Your dog is better behaved than you."

This caused his lips to twitch in amusement. "Sweetheart, you didn't need to tell me that."

Quinn Delaney will tell you that there's nothing quite like getting woken up in the middle of the night by a persistently stubborn dog. And it's even more alarming when you consider the fact that the dog isn't even her's.

And dragging her bloody and bullet-riddled ex back to her cabin was never on her to-do list either. All she wanted was to be left alone in her cabin in the Colorado mountains. Fate, and a new furry four-legged friend, had other plans.

Sean Marrek is an ex-SEAL, blunt to the point of being rude, volatile, hard to handle and even harder to kill. He's perfectly content going on search and rescue missions with his dog and staying below the radar.

When an assassin from his past catches up with him, Marrek barely manages to get away and ends up running to the only person he feels he can trust, Quinn. Of course, it's been nearly ten years since he left her broken-hearted and the first thing he does is inadvertently make her a target. They're not off to a great start.

Marrek feels obligated to keep her safe, even if it's against her own will. But rather than worrying about an unseen enemy coming closer, they should be worried about each other, because they just might save the assassin the trouble and kill each other first . . .

How many of you want to read about Quinn and Marrek's Story?

Now, I can't say when this book will be posted, as I really don't know when I will get the time. For sure I will be finishing bonus chapters first. Plus I would really like to have quite a few chapters of the book written up before I actually post it.

So, we'll have to wait and see how this goes. Right now my focus is on finishing Bonus Chapters for Agent 1 (as those are long, long overdue) and working on Agent 34. After that, we'll see.

So, I apologize for not updating Agent 34, as you can probably tell I was trying to finish Catching the Storm. I will be updating Agent 34 soon, and I will be trying to finish the bonus chapters for Agent 1 as they are, again, long overdue. My goal is to have the bonus chapters for Agent 1 finished, as well as getting to at least chapter 20 of Agent 34 before my college classes start back up. Since I only have like two weeks left of my summer break, I'm not sure how that's going to go, but I'm going to do my best.

But for all those of you who were asking, I can now officially tell you that yes, Quinn is getting her own story. Of course, it was always my intention to give her her own story. I had this planned for a long while, just had to introduce the characters and set up their backgrounds first before I could put them together in a story.

That being said, what other characters would you all be interested in seeing in their own stories? Or, what characters from two different books would you want to see meet?

I'm really enjoying writing spin-offs of characters. Because, while it can have several familiar characters, I can add new ones and it's like an entirely different story. Just something a little different than the agents series that I'm so used to writing.

Also, fun fact, Password Incorrect was originally an idea for an entirely separate story. It was never going to be a spin-off. It was originally just going to be a different book that I wrote when I finally finished the Agents series. But then I thought, why not put the characters into the Agents series? It's not like they don't fit into the story, into the genre. It's not like they're mythical characters that wouldn't make sense in the Agent series. And so, it became a spin-off instead of an entirely separate book.

Thank you so so much to everyone who read the book. I sincerely enjoyed writing it and I hope you all enjoyed it. It makes me very happy to write and even happier when I see that people are enjoying my works.

I hope you all have had a great time reading the book (even if it took forever) and I hope you all continue to read my stories (I still have so many to tell).

Thank you again,

K
