"Let me get this straight," Taehyung said, raising an eyebrow, "You dragged me out of bed because you want me to meet a guy?"

"Ah, well, sort of," Hana said, emptying her mug of coffee, "I-"

"You're such a good friend," Taehyung cooed, "But babe, I had a busy night again last night, I could have met him at any time. Why so early?"

Hana sighed, "Tae, I'm not introducing him to you like that. I want you to be here when he comes in because last night he physically grabbed me and dragged me into a dark booth before saying weird things,"

The smile dropped from Taehyung's face, "He assaulted you?!"

"I- I don't know. I don't think so, it was more like... I don't know. He just didn't want me near the carousel at the fair,"

Her friend frowned and spoke as Yoongi came to refill their mugs, "Does this weirdo have a name?"

"He said his name was Park Jimin,"

"Jimin spoke to you?" Yoongi said suddenly, a surprised look on his face, "That's unusual, he doesn't speak to very many people after what happened. What did he say?"

Hana looked up at the kind diner owner, "He didn't want me to go near the carousel at the fair and he asked me to meet him here,"

"Ah," Yoongi nodded, "He has a strange fixation with the fair," He leaned closer, "Listen, he's harmless, he's a good guy at heart, but he's..." He trailed off a little, "He's not exactly sane. He was actually put away at Insanis Home. He's lived here in this town his whole life, but for five years he was there. He wouldn't hurt anyone, but just don't trust him, okay? He's not normal,"

"Oh," Hana said, raising her eyebrows. She knew that he obviously wasn't normal, but for him to be put away at Insanis Home; the towns notorious mental institution, meant that there was something very wrong with him, "We'll be careful, thanks, Yoongi,"

Yoongi smiled and nodded, "If you need me, I'll be about. Just give me a shout,"

"Thanks," Taehyung said, looking a little worried. As Yoongi headed back to hopping between tables, he got up and moved so he was in the seat next to Tam, "Okay, now I'm worried. Maybe we should just bail, it's already ten anyway and he's not he-"

The door to the diner opened and in stepped the man that Hana had seen the previous night. He was dressed exactly the same as he was before; in some black ripped jeans and a blue denim jacket over a white t-shirt, but she could see his face a lot clearer now. He must have only been a few years older than her, but his handsome face seemed tired and aged. He had black, scruffy hair swept carelessly away from his face, and his eyes were piercing. As he got a little closer, the despair in his eyes seemed a little overshadowed by the obvious look of someone a little insane.

"I'm late," He stated as he dropped into the chair Taehyung was previously in, "Sorry," He didn't offer an explanation as to why he was late, but after hearing about his mental state, Hana didn't push for an answer.

His eyes flickered to Taehyung, who was tense next to his friend, "I'm Jimin," He said, offering his hand. Taehyung hesitated a little before answering and Jimin pulled his hand away slowly.

"Taehyung," Hana's friend said, "Why did you grab my friend last night?"

"Because she was going to the carousel," Jimin replied simply, "It was dark and there was nobody else around. She shouldn't have been going towards it,"

"I thought you said you'd catch a cab home," Taehyung muttered to Hana, before turning his attention back to Jimin, "Well, that's not really your business, is it? You were also there when it was dark and empty, why don't you explain that?"

"Did you know," Jimin said, ignoring Taehyungs question, "That this fair hasn't been here in ten years? The owner hasn't changed a bit,"

Hana pressed her lips together and nodded, "Yoongi told us,"

"Oh, Min Yoongi," Jimin said, "He visited there that day as well. His father gave him the day off and he went on a date with Sophia. Their first date, I think. You two must have been kids,"

"I was ten," Taehyung said, "So was Hana,"

"I was sixteen," Jimin said, "I was so young. We were so young. The carousel is beautiful, isn't it? The unicorns look so real,"

Taehyung and Hana glanced at each other again and nodded, but Jimin immediately changed the subject again. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a black leather wallet before flicking it open.

"This is my girlfriend," He said, pulling out a mini polaroid picture. On the front, was a picture of a blonde girl with dimples and grey eyes. She was laughing, and it was clear that it was a candid shot. She looked so natural and so happy; posing for a picture never came off that pure. Hana frowned as she stared at it. There was something familiar about her - especially her eyes.

Taehyung cleared his throat, "Little young for you, isn't she, bro?"

"She liked the carousel, too," Jimin ignored him, staring down at the photo, "She was drawn to it like you were," He looked up at Hana, his eyes full of sadness and anger, "She loved unicorns. She even had a unicorn pendant that I got her for her birthday. She was wearing it when she rode the carousel. She never took it off,"

Hana shifted uncomfortably in her seat as Jimin's eyes pierced into her, "Is that so?" She mumbled, nudging Taehyung. She didn't want to be here with this man anymore. He wasn't right. There was something very wrong about him.

"Well, okay," She finally worked up her courage and smiled, "I think I should get going. Thanks for meeting us and for-" She cleared her throat, "Not hurting me-"

Jimin reached out, grabbing her wrist, "You can't go," He said, his face softening, "You can't, you have to trust me, you can't-"

"Let her go," Taehyung said firmly, his own hand on Jimin's wrist, "Let her go, right now,"

Jimin ignored him, "You can't, I know you don't know me, but you can trust me, I'm not crazy, I'm not! That fair is evil, the carousel is a-"

"Jimin," Jimin looked up when a shadow fell across the table.

"Yoongi," He said softly as the owner of the diner looked down at him, "I-"

"Let her go, Jimin," Yoongi's voice was soft, "You're going to hurt her,"

Jimin looked down at his hand and gasped, letting go of Hana's wrist. She quickly pulled away, rubbing at it and staring down at him with wide eyes.

"I'm-" He stood up and cleared his throat, "I'm sorry," He backed away from the table, the chair scraping loudly across the floor as everyone turned to see what was going on. With one last, desperate look at Hana, he turned and fled the diner, leaving silence in his wake.

"I thought you said he wouldn't hurt anyone," Taehyung said, pulling Hana to look at her wrist.

"I was wrong," Said Yoongi sadly, "He's changed. If I were you, I'd stay away from him, Hana. Don't be anywhere near him, especially if you're alone,"
