Azucena knocked on the classroom door.

"Excuse me. Rebeca, come out here for a moment, please. Come with me." Rebeca stood up as Azucena led her out of the room.

Natalia could hear muffled noises coming from the outside but couldn't make out what they were saying.

She knew that Rebeca was starting to get angry when she raised her voice "No. Kick me out. Let the whole fucking school know. Let everyone and their mother know that when a rich kid's dad went to jail, he didn't get kicked out!"

Samuel then ran out of the classroom and walked over to Azucena "What's going on?" She immediately looked sternly at him "Go back to class, Samuel."

He stood still and Rebeca continued to shout "Let fucking everyone know
that I'm getting kicked out!"

One by one each student walked outside and Azucena tried to make them go inside as Rebeca's voice got louder

"But if your moms fund a scholarship, you don't get expelled, even if you're a fucking murderer!"

Samuel spoke up "You can't expel her." Azucena stepped back "We're not. It's voluntary."

Samuel walked over to the other side of Rebeca and looked at Azucena "I'm leaving too, then. If she leaves, I leave." Guzmán was next to talk "Me too."

Azucena looked at the boys in shock but was even more shocked when her son spoke up "And me."

Nadia was next "Me too." Natalia crossed her arms as she stood next to Guzmán "Me as well." She could feel Rebeca's thankful gaze on her but kept her focus on Azucena.

Suddenly Valerio ran out into the corridor and stood next to Rebeca "And me too, okay?"

He looked at the students next to him with confusion "What's going on?" Azucena sighed and looked back to Rebeca.

"I'll try to talk to the board, okay? Now, go back to class, please." Every student walked back into class feeling proud of themselves.

The room was filled with bright lights and loud music as Natalia walked into Lu's house with a bottle of red wine in her hand.

She saw Lu talking to Guzmán and walked over to them.

Lu smiled at the girl as she stood next to them "You look gorgeous, Natalia." She handed Lu the bottle "You do too."

Lu walked over to the drinks table and Guzmán looked at the girl "You should wear suits more often."

Natalia put her hand on her chest "Are you flirting with me?"

Guzmán smirked "It was just a compliment. Forget it."

The two laughed and Lu walked back over to the pair. "I take it red's your favourite colour, Talia."

Natalia shrugged "Of course. I found out it represents drama. Let's just say I have a lot of that in my life right now."

Lu nodded and then a voice was heard from behind them "Look at this circus, daddy! Good evening!"

Lu rolled her eyes at her brother's sudden entrance and she looked at Guzmán "All good?"

The boy frowned "Yeah, I don't think I'll be staying long." Lu laughed and turned around "Give me a second."

She walked over to her brother and Natalia looked at Guzmán "I'm gonna go and socialise. See you later." Guzmán nodded and she walked off to smoke a cigarette outside.

She carefully lit one of the cigarettes that were in her bag and started to smoke.

She smiled when Nadia and Malick walked past her and into the party.

"I thought you didn't do that anymore?" She looked to her left and Valerio was smirking at her "I do now."

Valerio laughed and Natalia frowned at him "Leaving so soon?"

He shrugged "You were right. I'm not welcome here. I'm gonna go and hang out with my new friends."

Natalia rolled her eyes "Whatever. Enjoy." He smiled "Thanks, gorgeous." He then walked off and Natalia scoffed.

She spent a few minutes smoking outside until she decided to throw it on the floor and walk back inside.

Her eyes caught on Rebeca and Samuel as the two were talking and decided to pay them a visit.

"Hi, lovebirds! You both look nice."

Rebeca smiled at the girl as she approached them "So do you. Are you channeling a businessman tonight?" Natalia shrugged sarcastically "What else?"

She then looked at Samuel "I saw your roommate just now. How's it going?" Samuel rolled his eyes "Let's just say he met my expectations."

Natalia laughed and nodded "Right. He came over to my house the other night. He thinks he can just walk and eat my popcorn. What the hell!"

Samuel scoffed "You're pissed over popcorn. You could by millions of bags with the money you have."

Natalia crossed her arms "It was the last packet on the shelf Samuel. Besides, I don't like to waist my money on popcorn."

The boy nodded understandingly and started to walk away "I'm gonna get a drink."

Rebeca smiled at the boy and then Natalia's phone suddenly buzzed. She picked up her phone and saw something she wasn't expecting.

Tomás
Happy Valentine's Day!

She frowned when she read the message and immediately put the phone back in her pocket. Rebeca laughed "What's wrong?"

Natalia sighed "I just got a Happy Valentine's Day message from my ex boyfriend, Tomás."

Rebeca's eyes widened "Holy shit, princesa. Did he move schools or something."

Natalia nodded "Yeah. He moved to Venezuela last year and I haven't heard from him in months."

Rebeca shrugged "Well, at least someone said it to you." Natalia whispered "I guess."

The rest of the night was quite enjoyable for Natalia.

It was the first time she was single for Valentine's Day and so she wanted to make the most of it.

The only time she felt lonely was when a slow song came on and the couples headed to the dance floor. She huffed and sat down on the sofa.

She looked outside and watched as every couple held onto each other like their life depended on it.

She secretly wished she had someone to dance with.

Whether it be Valerio or Tomás, she would have been happy to have someone in her life.

"Why so sad?" Natalia looked up at Guzman's concerned face and she smiled falsely at him "I'm fine. I'm just a little tired."

Guzmán looked at the dance floor and then back at Natalia "Wanna dance?" The girl stood up "If you really have to."

Guzmán laughed at the girl and led her to the dance floor. The two found a spot between the many teenagers and Guzmán put his hands lightly on her waist.

She wrapped her hands around his neck and the two swayed to the rhythm of the music.

"I didn't take you for the slow dancer, Natalia."

The girl chuckled "Me neither. I'm used to just jumping around and flicking my hair about but...this is also nice."

Guzmán nodded "Agreed. At least now you've had the experience of it."

He then twirled her around and she laughed "Are you a ballroom dancer now, Guzmán?"

The boy smiled "Didn't I tell you. I've been dancing since I was in diapers." Natali continued to joke around with Guzmán until she finally decided to go home.

She slept well that night, knowing that being single wasn't as bad as it would seem.
