Rebeca sat next to Natalia and the two watched as the Inspector stood at the front of the class explaining that Samuel was missing.

"We are going to be carrying out a search this afternoon to try and find him, or any clue as to his whereabouts. It would be good if any of you could come along to help. "

Guzmán bit into his apple and raised his hand "But do they think he's dead? Are we looking for a dead body?" The Inspector looked at the boy "Our hope is to find him alive."

The class was dismissed and Natalia felt nervous all of a sudden. She wasn't as close with Samuel anymore and so she felt like she could have done more to protect him. Natalia walked through the hallway and sat in the library. She needed to clear her mind and so she put her bag on the floor and rested her head on the table.

A minute later, Natalia could sense that someone was sitting next to her and she looked up to see Lu crossing her arms and smirking. "Good morning, sleepy head."

Natalia rolled her eyes and leaned back into her chair. "What do you want?"

Lu squinted his eyes as she studied her face "What's going on with you? You've been on edge all day."

Natalia wanted to tell Lu about what happened the night of Cayetana's NGO. It had been eating her up for days.

"I want to tell you something but...you'll judge me too much." Lu laughed "Natalia, I'm the last person that'll judge you. I'm your friend, remember?"

Natalia took a deep breath and closed her eyes "I slept with someone I shouldn't have."

Natalia looked at Lu who had a confused expression on her face. The girl placed her arms on the table and tilted her head "So, what's the problem? Who was it?"

Natalia looked around the room to make sure no one was listening and leaned in next to Lu "My mother's fucking boyfriend."

Lu's eyes widened and she shrugged "It can't get any worse than me." Natalia then remember that Lu had kissed her own brother and suddenly felt better about the entire thing.

Lu kept her head down "I slept with him that night...if it makes you feel any better." Natalia looked up and rolled her eyes "You can't keep doing this Lu. You're related."

Lu nodded "I know. But it didn't feel wrong. He's always told me that you were always number one on his list. I was always second best. Even when you broke up, you were all he talked about on the phone. He told me how much he loved you. How much he still wanted to be with you. And then when he came back he thought that you had moved on. That's why he came back to me. Because he knew that I would always be here for him. I was always jealous of that. Having someone love you so much but you didn't want them. I thought you were selfish, but I guess it was just because you were heartbroken or had moved on."

Natalia sighed "I haven't moved on. I've been denying my feelings since he came back. I've been avoiding him since day one and it's made me realise how much I...I love him."

Lu looked at Natalia with disbelief and smiled "You need to tell him. Before it's too late. Why don't you come to our Christmas dinner party?"

Natalia shook her head "Thanks, but I'm gonna spend time with my sister for Christmas." Lu nodded and stood up "I'm gonna go, okay?" Lu walked away leaving Natalia to think on her own.

"Natalia, if you know anything about Samuel's disappearance...now is the time to talk."

Natalia rested her elbows on the table and leaned forward "I don't know anything. You can ask anyone, I don't hang out with him anymore. I still care about him though...despite everything that happened."

The Inspector tilted her head "Everything that happened?"

Natalia took her hands off of the table and leaned back on her chair "Well, I know that his brother was arrested for killing Marina but...I always had doubts about that and so I treated Samuel just like anyone else. I won't blame him for everything."

The Inspector clasped her hands together and looked at Natalia seriously.

"Do you think one of your classmates could have something to do with Samuel's disappearance?"

Natalia looked up from her hands and shrugged "Samuel and I haven't really spoken since Marina, so I don't really know anything. I knew he was seeing Carla for a bit but...that's all."

The Inspector nodded "And do you have any idea what would make Nano run away?"

The girl sighed "I don't know. I don't think he was welcome here by anyone. He was in danger...I guess he needed to leave."

The inspector smiled at Natalia "Thank you, that will be all. You can leave now."

Natalia nodded and stood up from her chair. She walked out of the classroom and walked straight over to the sofa.

She sat down and huffed. Ander soon sat down next to her and frowned "Are you okay?"

Natalia shook her head "No." Ander scoffed at Natalia's honesty and leaned back on the sofa, still keeping his eyes on her "You'll be okay. Don't worry about it."

Natalia could feel tears forming in her eyes and looked away from Ander. He noticed this and grabbed her hand "Hey, hey, don't cry. Natalia, you need to breath."

He wrapped his arms around Natalia's waist and Natalia put her head on his shoulder. She cried as Ander caressed her side "I can't believe this is happening to us. I wasn't prepared for all of this. For Marina."

Ander tensed at the sound of Marina's name as he had a secret that was eating him up inside.

He wanted to tell Natalia about Polo but he feared that she would judge him too quickly.

Natalia continued to rest her head on Ander's shoulder until she eventually calmed down.

Natalia spent the rest of her time talking with Ander which made her forget about her problems.
