Author's pov

Y/n's entire existence shivered where as she felt the land under her feet slipped watching the person standing at door. She stared at him with utmost shock  in her eyes and her world froze when his eyes fell on her shocked one . They both stared at each other's eyes like the time around them froze and at that moment, she realised how his eyes lost the warmness and light which were always present inside them. Now they turned completely cold and dark and the person standing in front of her was totally a foreign and stranger to her whom she never met before..

"Meet my new company head Mr Jeon Jungkook . "

The voice took Y/n out of her painful dilemma. She averted her gaze from him to the person sitting beside her and her soul left her body when  she found Taehyung glaring at him while clenching his jaw so tightly that his veins stretched out on his neck.

Taehyung's eyes completely turned ruthless and he immediately stood up on his feet making her terrified to her core, realising what was about to happened.

Taehyung glared at Jungkook who was smirking cunningly while looking at him making Taehyung to pushed on the verge of bursting out. He fisted his palms tightly making his knuckles to turned white and tried to stormed towards the door.

But before he could take a single step, Y/n held Taehyung's hand under the table tightly stopping him from taking further step and doing something which would cause a scene there and harmed his reputation.

Because while looking at Jungkook's grin and eyes, she completely understood what he was trying to do or in precise what he wanted Taehyung to do but she didn't wanted him to get succeeded in his cunning intentions.

Taehyung averted his darken gaze from Jk to her who was looking at him with her pleading eyes which were indicating not to react...

She clutched his hand more tightly while intertwining their fingers making him to calmed down a little..

" Welcome Mr Jeon.. " Rm said grabbing everyone's attention towards him making Jk to walked inside sternly while smirking.

"Good afternoon everyone... " Jk said and than  look towards Taehyung who was fuming with rage.

"Hello Mr Kim it's good to see you again.. " Jk stated with his mocking grin making Taehyung to greeted his teeth and Y/n understood the tensing up off his body, she clutched his hand more tightly making his rage to calmed down a little feeling the warmness of her touch.

Jk smirked and than looked towards Y/n who was standing beside him while holding Taehyung's hand making Jk's smirk to dropped while his eyes turned more darker than before.

He stared at their intertwined hands which made his heart to ached badly and than looked towards her who was glaring at him while disgust for him was evident in her eyes.

Jk glared at her until

"Sit Mr Jeon, let's start the meeting now.. " Rm spoke looking at Jimin making him to averted his gaze towards Taehyung who was glaring at Jk and than Jimin looked towards Y/n who nodded at him to proceed .

Jimin nodded in return and than spoke

"Yes let's proceed.. "

Taehyung glared at Jk making him smirked and than Jk sat on his chair making Taehyung to clenched his jaw.

Y/n squeezed his hand making him to averted his gaze to her again. Taehyung looked at her who was already staring at him with the eyes indicating everything will be alright.

He took a deep breath and than sat on his chair and she sat on her and the meeting was about to begun.. When suddenly someone's phone started ringing.

Taehyung averted his gaze towards that person and glared at him because he hated disobedience and disturbance .

"I am so sorry Mr Kim but it's from hospital. I need to pick this call please" Mr Choi pleaded whose phone was ringing,

Taehyung nodded at him making him to side a little and picked up the call.

After a couple of minute

Mr Choi came but his eyes were almost teary where as his hands were shaking.

"I need to go immediately Mr Kim.. "

"What.. But why Mr Choi if you left than who is going to present the project. You know that right that you're our this project's head  " Jimin stated getting up from his chair.

"I know Mr Park but M..my wife is in premature labour pain, h.. Her condition is really very critical.. I..i really  need to go to her .." He stated making Y/n's heart clutched hearing his words watching a tear rolled down on Mr Choi's face.

Y/n's eyes became teary too, she got up and walked towards him and held his hand Assuringly because his pain was too much which no one could ever thought off and Y/n also worked with him as an assistant on this project with him and they both were on really very good terms,she knew how happy he was for his coming baby and wife.
She held his hand and spoke.

"Don't worry Mr Choi, everything will be alright. Trust me your wife and baby will be alright trust me.. "

She spoke tried to calm his down, he slowly nodded at her but tears were still rolling down his cheeks making her eyes to shedded a tear.

"You should go now... Mr Choi.. Your wife needs you right now more than anything. . " Taehyung spoke getting up from his chair while looking at Mr Choi.

"Thank you so much sir.. Thank you. " Mr Choi spoke earning a nod from Taehyung .

"But who is going to present now.. " Jimin spoke.

"On my behalf, my assistant Miss Kang will... " Mr Choi stated making Y/n to look at him shocked

"But.. Me... "

"Please Miss Kang, you were on my side the whole time when I was preparing on this project so please help me.and do this for our Company's reputation.. " Mr Choi said while looking at Y/n with almost begging eyes.

She sighed heavily and than nodded because she now had no other option and that was the least she could do it after listening to Mr Choi's problem and specially for the Company's reputation.

"Ok I'll.... " Y/n stated with a heavy sigh and than. Gave him a little assuring smile.

"Thank you thank you so much... All the best.. Miss Kang" Mr Choi spoke and and than looked towards Taehyung who nodded at him again and than he left.

"Ok so than let's start the meeting.. Shall we..? " Rm spoke making Y/n to gulped hard on her saliva because she was afraid till her core as it was her first representing something in front of everyone and especially on spot, she was not even prepared for it.

She turned around looked at Taehyung who was already staring at her. He looked at her with the eyes showing if you're not comfortable you don't need to do it..

She took a deep breath and spoke

"Ok , let's start.. ".

The corner of Taehyung's lips tugged a little realising how much brave his wife was . He nodded at her earning a smile from her realising if even nobody trusted her but he does. Her husband trusted her and that was enough for her to forgot about her fear and anxiety.

And there sat Jungkook who fisted his palms tightly under the table watching them exchanging their beautiful emotions.

She walked towards the front and than Taehyung sat on his chair and the meeting proceeded.

After half an hour, the meeting was going on as the projector was protecting the presentation on it making everyone to looked at it carefully. And she was presenting it in front of everyone perfectly and clearly making Taehyung to felt proud of her...

And she got that confidence from him realising if she even fell, he was there to picked her up immediately.. Taehyung's trust on her boosted her confidence on new level.

After a while.

"So, that's our Company's plan of working into the foreign market..  " She spoke shutting the projector's screen and the light goes on .

Taehyung stood up on his chair and started clapping for her.

"Perfect explanation.. Miss Kang, I am proud of you.." He stated with his proud smile making her heart to tingled watching his beautiful smile.

"Thank you so much Mr Kim.. " She said while bowing at him.

Everyone started clapping for her, she again bowed and thanked everyone without looking at a certain someone for once.

"Perfect Miss Kang.. " Jimin spoke earning a smile from Y/n. She walked towards her seat and was ready to sat but.

"Excellent Miss Kang but still I have question for you..?"

Y/n stood stir and her smile dropped to the floor watching the owner of that voice.

"So can I ask it, if you don't mind.? " Jungkook stated smirking while leaning a little on his chair.

Taehyung clutched his palms and was ready to explode when she spoke.

"Sure Mr Jeon, you can ask me anything related to this project. It's my job. " Y/n stated sternly earning an amused grin from Jk.

Jk put his hands on the table and than leaned a little against it .

"Hmm.. So I heard each and everything about your project, well I am impressed the way you present it but.... " Jk stated smirking.

Taehyung glared at him and he was controlling himself only because he knew she was totally capable and confident enough of handling everything surrounded her.

Y/n looked at Jk who again leaned back to the chair and spoke

"But your project has a lot of risk involved in it and another different companies are offering the same project but with low chances of risk so why should we invest in your company?"

Both Taehyung and Jimin glared at Jungkook but there stood Y/n who just stared at him blankly because that question was something which was out of her knowledge as an assistant only.

Jk smirked watching her empty expression realising he captured her weak points.

But than he raised his one brow when she averted her gaze towards Taehyung and looked at him.

Y/n stared at Taehyung who was already staring at her making Y/n to took a deep breath and snapped .

"Well Mr Jeon, we know very well that most of the outside companies are offering the same project with less risk but we all know very well that their profit margins are very less as compared to ours company.. "

Jk raised his brow at her hearing her reply and stated

"But still what's the guarantee that your company will going to get succeed in future and other company won't beat it?"

Taehyung clenched his jaw hearing his question.

"Well Mr Jeon we can't just sit here and assume that someone is going to beat us or not as being a business man you know very well that business just not only worked on assumptions, we need to perform our actions too . We need to convert our assumptions into actions in order to make it successful" Y/n snapped

"And to answer your question that why you should invest in our company well we can only get success in our life when we are capable of taking risks. The higher the risk ,the better is the profit as taking risk is one of the most important step to get success in anything

And we all know very well how much capable our company is to take out the best outcome even out of worst as it's run under the supervision of the Asia's most successful Businessman

Mr Kim Taehyung.. "

Both Jimin and Taehyung smirked proudly where as Jk scoffed hearing her reply.

"As my boss Mr Kim is capable of even turning soil into gold with his knowledge and sharp intelligence.. So I am pretty much sure if someone is working with him than the chances of baring the loss will be that person's least concern and you know it very well too because after knowing many companies are offering the same project with less risk than ours but yet you are still here and attending this meeting with us definitely with the purpose of getting more profit. Right Mr Jeon?

Hope I answer your question well Mr Jeon? "  Y/n snapped making Taehyung smirked and felt proud of her..

Jk glared at her but than a grin appeared on his face.

"Perfect Miss Kang I am really very impressed with your way of showing and presenting your work. " Jk smirked

"Thank you so much Mr Jeon I am glad to hear that and felt proud that I get appreciated for my work in front of my boss Mr Kim whom I consider my idol.

As he himself trained and helped me under his supervision and I am proud to call myself his follower.. " Y/n spat with a smile making Taehyung's grin to widened where as his heart tingled hearing her beautiful words.

Jk clenched his jaw and than stood on his feet

"Very well than we accepted the deal with your company and hope that the future ahead of us will be better and remarkable. "

"Sure Mr Jeon if our present is better than nobody can stop your future from getting best ... " Y/n snapped at jk making him smirked..

"Perfect than it will be a pleasure working with such talented employees... " Jk stated and leaned his hand to Y/n in order for a hand shake.

Y/n glared at him but she decided not to cause any scene so she lifted her hand but before it could reached him.

Taehyung lifted his hand and shaked it with his.

"It will sure, Mr Jeon ... "

Both Taehyung and Jk glared at each other's eyes and the hatred and rage is evident in their eyes for each other making her to terrified realising they both were playing a very dangerous game and in the end someone had to loose but that loss might cause something worst.

"Umm... Congratulations Mr Kim .. " Y/n said tried to take his attention from Jk.

Taehyung averted his gaze to her who was already looking at her with her afraid eyes making Taehyung to leave his hand and than just glared at him.

"So the meeting is over, thank you everyone for coming and joining this meeting. " Jimin stated tried to ease the tension between both the men.

Everyone was congratulating and greeting each other except Taehyung  who just stood and clenched his jaw in order to controlled himself.

Jk smirked watching his reaction and than walked towards him

"Congratulations Mr Kim... For our collaboration.. " Jk smirked making Taehyung to gritted his teeth.

Jk's grin widened and and leaned a little nearer to his ear and whispered

"Remember one day you told me History loves to repeat itself well today I can surely believed that it does and if it doesn't than trust me I'll make the history to repeat itself and will snatch her away from you just the same way you did from me.. "

Taehyung balled his fists because now his baring capacity left him and was ready to grabbed his collar which was jk's intention but he couldn't get succeeded in it because Y/n walked towards Taehyung and held his arm tightly because she knew from the starting what was jk's intentions.

Both Taehyung and Y/n glared at jk making him smirked..

"Mr Jeon let's go.. Now.. " Rm spoke .

"Sure let's go so we can come back soon... " Jk stated without averting his gaze from her making Taehyung's blood to boiled..

He looked towards Taehyung and than again at Y/n, he gave her his signature cunning smirk and spoke

"Till then... "

And than walked out of the meeting room with everyone leaving jimin, Taehyung and Y/n alone..

Both Y/n and Jimin sighed together and than looked towards Taehyung who was burning with rage and wrath where as his eyes turned completely dark.

"Tae.... " Jimin tried to spoke but he snatched his arm from Y/n's grip harshly and glared at her making her to gulped hard .

He clenched his jaw and than stormed out of the room making her gasped.

"Tae.... Shit... " Jimin cursed and looked towards her

"Y/n..." He stated making her to sighed heavily and than looked at him.

"Don't worry I will try to make him calm.. " She retorted

Jimin nodded and said

"Ok but be careful he is in his worst form now.. "

Y/n nodded and left the room making Jimin to sighed watching her disappearing figure.
